This June, Colors Infinity is set to bring a whole new perspective to English language Television, yet again! Starting 11th June, the channel launches its newest, first of its kind offering, ‘Infinity-on-Demand’, where audiences get a chance to handpick 12 seasons of Indian Television Premieres, from an array of exciting international shows that can be binge-watched all weekend!

    Set to launch on 11 June, Colors Infinity launches its latest, disruptive offering that gives its viewers complete control on the shows premiering every weekend for 12 weeks on the channel.     The winning show of the week will be announced every Wednesday on the channel as well as across its social media platforms.

At a time when people have control over viewing their choice of shows at their convenience. Infinity-On-Demand is our way of keeping the audience engaged by taking their selection as the final word. With, ‘Infinity-On-Demand’, we’re taking our relationship with our viewers one step forward, giving them the right to call the shots. The shows on the list of voting have been carefully handpicked by the best to fit our programming.”

    Since its inception, Colors Infinity has consistently surprised its viewers with a series of disruptive offering and blockbuster premieres. After successful initiatives such as 3 back-to-back shows, Instant Premieres, launch of India’s first home-grown English Singing Talent Hunt and much more, the channel introduces yet another path-breaking concept with Infinity-On-Demand.

    MUMBAI: Madison Media has announced a few changes in its top management that start with the promotion of Madison Media Sigma COO Vanita Keswani to CEO of Madison Media Sigma. Further, current Pinnacle SVP Shekhar Bannerjee has been elevated to COO of Madison Media Infinity.

    Commenting on the new appointments, Madison Media & OOH, Group CEO, Vikram Sakhuja said, “This is a great recognition for Vanita and Shekhar. Vanita has brought solidity to a diverse portfolio and has driven consistent client value. Shekhar in his most recent avatar had driven Mondelez to a world class account. Both these promotions are truly deserved and I wish them the best in their new challenges.”

    Keswani has been with Madison Media for the last 18 years and donned various key roles and today heads a large portfolio of clients including Raymond, Piramal, McDonald’s, Shaadi.com, Pidilite, Indian Oil, Lodha, DHFL, Omkar, etc.

     

    Bannerjee joined Madison Media as a management trainee in 2004 and has risen to the top over the last 11 years. He will be responsible for Godrej, Asian Paints and Marico businesses of the Mumbai office.
     

    These promotions are part of Madison Next, an all-encompassing programme launched by Madison three months ago, that gets the agency future ready, focus on digital, empower youngsters, promoting internal talent to senior level management roles across units and focus on research, insights and big data.

    MUMBAI: The English entertainment channel from Viacom18 stable, Comedy Central is going to take a high definition (HD) route. The comedy channel, which so far only had a standard definition (SD) feed, will now be available in HD.

     

    While the HD feed is currently available only on Tata Sky, it will soon be offered on other platforms as well. Comedy Central HD was launched on Tata Sky on 1 July. “Comedy Central is now HD and so all the Tata Sky subscribers can enjoy the channel in HD,” said Viacom18 group CEO Sudhanshu Vats.

     

    Comedy Central HD on Tata Sky is priced at Rs 20 on a-la-carte. Surprisingly, the SD feed on a-la-carte on the platform is priced the same. Currently, the channel’s SD and HD feed are part of Tata Sky’s ‘Grand Sports Pack’ that is available at Rs 470 per month.

     

    “We have just launched Comedy Central HD, once it is available on all platforms, we will only have the HD feed,” said a source from the network.

     

    No marketing plans have been chalked out to promote the HD version of the channel at least for the next two months.

     

    It can be noted that Viacom18 is all set to launch two new English entertainment channels—Colors Infinity and Colors Infinity HD. The new channels will have shows from across genres including drama, comedy, super heroes, talent, lifestyle, action, mini-series and live events.

     

    With the addition of Comedy Central HD, there are now four HD English entertainment channels. These include: Star World HD, Star World Premiere HD and AXN HD. This number, by the end of the year, after the launch of Colors Infinity HD, FX HD and Zee Café HD, will go up to seven.

    Innocean Worldwide bags creative duties of Sleepwell

    MUMBAI: Mattress and comfort accessories brand, Sleepwell, has roped in the Korean-agency network, Innocean Worldwide, to handle its creative mandate. 
     
    Rediffusion Y&R Worldwide is the incumbent agency.

    The account size is pegged at Rs 120 to 150 million.
     
    The mandate was awarded to Innocean, following a multi-agency pitch, which involved agencies such as Mudra, Everest, Crayons, Infinity, Triton, Apple and Vermillion.

    Sleepwell is owned by Sheela Foam Industries, which is aiming to take its communication strategy to the next level.
     
    The company‘s retail presence is being ramped up nationwide and retail branding is being standardised along with a new look to the product packaging.
