    Infectious Advertising ropes in Anil Jayachandran as chief strategy officer

    Mumbai: Infectious Advertising announced it has bolstered its strategic chops by hiring Anil Jayachandran as its chief strategy officer. In his last job, Jayachandran headed communications planning for Omnicom, Malaysia, working on key client accounts across OMD and PHD to drive thought leadership and best strategy practices.

    Previously, he held the role of strategy planning director at Leo Burnett.

    Jayachandran has spent nearly a quarter of a century working across geographies and is regarded as an expert in markets as diverse as North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. From Egypt to Malaysia, he has worked across functions—marketing, advertising, research, and strategy—with global players like Burnett, JWT, Unilever, Lintas, O&M, McCann, and Omnicom.

    Mumbai: Infectious Advertising on Thursday entrusted with the creative duties of five brands of Bayer. Bayer is a global enterprise with core competencies in the life science fields of healthcare and agriculture. The accounts fall under Bayer’s crop science division and were won after a closely contested pitch.

    Infectious’ task will be to strategize and deploy creative campaigns for the brands Arize, Dekalb, Laudis, Nativo and Vayego in multiple tiers and markets across the country.

    Infectious Advertising appoints Vinu V Krishna as creative head

    Mumbai: Infectious Advertising, an integrated independent agency, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Vinu V Krishna as creative head with immediate effect. Krishna was previously associated with Nichemind as creative director.

    Krishna comes with over 15 years of experience as a copywriter having worked extensively on print and digital for brands like The Week, Federal Bank, Google, Yahoo!, Manorama Group, and GMR. He has worked with leading ad agencies like JWT, DDB, and 1pointsize. He has won major awards at AdStars and Big Bang Awards – Bangalore Advertising Club.

    “The hiring of Vinu would easily be one of the most long-drawn recruitments in the history of advertising,” Infectious Advertising, director & co-founders, Nisha Singhania and Ramanuj Shastry said in a joint statement. “We interviewed him in a pub in Bangalore in 2018 and told him we liked him, and he joined Infectious in 2021!     Nitin Sharma joins Infectious Advertising as VP – business

    NEW DELHI: Infectious Advertising has roped in Nitin Sharma as its vice president – business.

    At Infectious, Sharma will be responsible for leading important businesses for the agency. He will work closely with founding partner Nisha Singhania to not only consolidate existing businesses but also look at organic plus new business growth, the agency said in a press statement.

    Sharma joins from the UAE Exchange in Dubai where he was the director – marketing strategy. He has also had stints at agencies like Ambience, Ogilvy, DDB Mudra and Leo Burnett India. With close to two decades of work experience spanning across advertising and marketing, he has managed brands across the entire spectrum of categories for different agencies.

    "Today’s complex and dynamic marketing landscape demands a truly integrated, multi-dimensional approach to fully leverage the opportunities businesses have or solve for the problems they face. Our purpose here is not about creating fancy ads, but explore the unique calibrations of communication, technology and data to shape consumer behaviour and move businesses," Sharma said.
