    Pidilite elevates Vishal Malhan as president-sales & marketing

    Mumbai: Pidilite Industries Limited has promoted Vishal Malhan as president- sales and marketing. According to Malhan’s LinkedIn profile, he was promoted in March.

    Prior to taking charge of his new position, he was serving the company as vice president- international business where he was responsible for business development in SAARC & SEA and marketing function for business in Africa, MiddleEast, SAARC and SEA.

    He has been associated with the brand for over 24 years. He joined Pidilite back in 1998 as a management trainee. Over the years, he has been promoted ten times and has reached the position of president- sales and marketing.

    In a career stint ranging across two decades, he has helped strengthen Pidilite’s presence on the marketing front. Malhan is a specialist of strategic initiatives, business development, brand management, product development, media management, and trade management.

    Bidisha Nagaraj promoted as Schneider Electric’s VP global marketing – home and distribution business

    Mumbai: Schneider Electric India has promoted Bidisha Nagaraj to a new role as global head of marketing-home business.

    Prior to this promotion, she was serving as the vice president of marketing for Schneider Electric India.

    Nagaraj brings with her over two decades of experience across brand, consumer and retail marketing for established brands as well as start ups, advertising, product and segment development and entrepreneurship in segments such as consumer non-durable products and information technology & energy management.

    She was associated with Schneider Electric India for the last five and a half years. She shared the update on her new role via a LinkedIn post. It read, “I am happy to announce that after 5.5 years I commence a new journey at #schneiderelectric . From the Head of India Marketing I move to the position of a Global Head of Marketing for our Home Business. Exciting and challenging times ahead.”

    Over the years, she has worked with companies like Google India, Lowe Lintas, Intel Corp. in India and the APAC region, Coffee Day Group, and more.

    DigiBoxx onboards Mohua Mitra as chief product officer

    Mumbai: India’s leading indigenous digital asset management platform Digiboxx has announced the appointment of Mohua Mitra as the chief product officer. 

    In her new role, Mohua will focus on strategy, execution, attaining higher efficiency levels, further innovation and automation into the core product offerings at DigiBoxx. She brings over 21 years of experience in SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and BI (Business Intelligence).

    Prior to joining DigiBoxx, Mohua Mitra has been associated with Hitachi Consulting (IN, UK & UAE) for eleven years as a technical architect and manager.

    On this new appointment, Digiboxx CEO Arnab Mitra said, “We are excited to have Mohua join DigiBoxx. She brings with her technical prowess and expertise in implementing solutions in international markets, which will help us take our product offerings to the next level.” 

    Mohua has majored in Physics from Jadavpur University, with a post graduate degree in Radio Physics & Electronics from the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics (INRAPHEL), Calcutta University. She found her calling in IT consulting very early in her career, working for companies like TCS, Oracle, PwC and IBM as a techno-functional consultant before moving to Hitachi Consulting and now DigiBoxx.

    “It has been a long rewarding career, spanning various geographies including the US, UK, and the UAE. I think it was time for me to embark on a new journey where I can lend my experience to a Made in India service and make it a global product. I thank the DigiBoxx leadership for their confidence in me and look forward to working with the vibrant team,” Mohua Mitra said on her appointment.

    Deep Ajwani appointed as udChalo CMO

    Mumbai: Consumer technology company udChalo has appointed Deep Ajwani as its new chief marketing officer. 

    In this new role, Ajwani will oversee the planning, development and execution of the organisation’s strategic marketing programme, said the company in a statement. “His role will be instrumental in scaling the company’s growth in new and existing markets, and broadening its consumer outreach,” it added.

    Ajwani previously played versatile roles in retail, martech, CRM, digital marketing and e-commerce industries.

    Sharing his excitement on being part of the senior leadership, Ajwani said, “This is a challenging and unique consumer segment that our brand is working with, and I take it as a privilege to provide service to our service men.     Ajwani is an IIM Ahmedabad alumni known for developing and shaping several companies working as a leader, mentor and strategic advisor.

    In his 20 years of career, he has been associated with various companies like Jet Airways, Nielsen, Capillary Technologies, and Big Bazaar.
