    MUMBAI: When it comes to pushing creative boundaries, Sony Sab just took things to another dimension-literally. In a spectacular fusion of technology, mythology, and marketing, the channel transformed Ujjain’s night sky into an enormous, immersive 3D canvas to mark the launch of its epic new series, Veer Hanuman. This jaw-dropping holographic sky projection-the largest of its kind in India—was unveiled on Mahashivratri, delivering a larger-than-life spectacle that left audiences spellbound.

    Harnessing cutting-edge scrim technology, Sony Sab projected breathtaking visuals of young Hanuman’s legendary journey onto a non-dimensional surface, creating the illusion of celestial storytelling floating in mid-air. As light, movement, and sound intertwined, the sky became a stage for an experience never seen before in Indian television marketing.

    Sony Sab didn’t stop at the sky. The channel rolled out a multi-platform campaign, integrating television, social media, Youtube, and digital activations to bring behind-the-scenes moments, bite-sized content, and interactive experiences directly to audiences.

    The highly anticipated Veer Hanuman, premiering 11 March, narrates the journey of Lord Hanuman, from an adventurous young boy to a revered deity symbolising devotion, bravery, and loyalty. Featuring Aan Tiwari, Sayli Salunke, Arav Chowdharry, and Mahir Pandhi, the show airs Monday to Saturday at 7:30 pm on Sony Sab.

    With this pioneering holographic spectacle, Sony Sab has set a new benchmark for how television marketing can transcend screens and enter the realm of real-world, immersive storytelling.

    Sab launches a fantastical comedy show – ‘YAM HAIN HUM’

    MUMBAI: Sab, India’s most loved family channel is all set to launch a new fantastical comedy show inspired from the mythical character of Yamraj – ‘Yam Hain Hum’.  This new offering which features Yamraj, the God of death as per Indian mythology will show the character in a unique and different perspective. Yam Hain Hum is a wholesome humorous family entertainer and shall hit the small screen on 15th December at 10 pm exclusively on SAB TV.

     

    SAB TV lifts the genre of comedy and entertainment to completely new heights with the introduction of their brand new show ‘Yam Hain Hum’ on the tube. The show produced by Swastik Productions, is a distinctive light hearted comedy on the magical and comical journey of Yamraj on the abode of the living. The story revolves around the concept of how humans perceive Yamraj and due to which he decides to visit earth along with his trusted companion Chitragupt to try and understand why and also change the image humans’ harbor about him and his duties.

    Both the celestial beings descend on Earth to educate people about the true role and duties of Yamraj which involves numerous adventures that shall both be heart-touching and humorous to bring a smile to everyone’s lips. ‘Yam Hain Hum’ will depict the adventures of Yamraj and Chitragupt together as they take a tour of the streets of Earth in the 21st Century.

    Disney India Announces Development of The Mahabharata

    MUMBAI: Disney India’s studio business today announced plans to bring The Mahabharata, Indian Mythology’s greatest epic, to the big screen. The Studio is gearing up to recreate the magic of this remarkable story in live action at a scale never seen before in Indian cinema which will be directed by Abhishek Kapoor and written by renowned author Ashok Banker.

     

    “Indian mythology has a great wealth of stories which have inspired legions of creative minds and The Mahabharata unarguably is the most ambitious and all-encompassing of them all. We believe this epic which has engaged generations of Indians will translate into a magnificent silver screen saga,” said Siddharth Roy Kapur, Managing Director – Disney India.

     

    “The Mahabharata expresses the universal truth; it has defined my understanding of spirituality and of all humanity. I aim to translate this onto the big screen, engage minds and deliver a world class cinematic experience,” said director of the film Abhishek Kapoor. “There could be no one better than Disney India, with its prowess as a creative and distribution powerhouse, to narrate this epic in the manner that befits it.”

    For the first time in Indian cinema, a single narrative will be told across two movies.  The film will go into pre-production post the completion of Abhishek Kapoor’s next venture with the studio, Fitoor, which goes on the floors in July.
