    MUMBAI: After nearly two decades of steering digital revenue growth across India’s top media and auto-tech brands, Ritesh Gupta has taken on a new challenge as head of ad sales (direct) and partnerships at OLX India.

    At CarDekho, where he spent over seven years, Gupta was instrumental in scaling the new auto business to contribute over 20 per cent of company revenue. He also built strong alliances with top automotive brands such as Toyota, Hero, Hyundai, TVS, Honda Cars, and Ather, while spearheading digital innovations like AI voice bots, AR/VR tools, and chatbots to enhance engagement.

    His diverse career spans leadership roles at The Indian Express, ABP Group, Connecting Dots Asia, Hindustan Times, Nielsen Digital, Business Standard, and The Times of India, where he honed his expertise in digital transformation, strategic partnerships, and sales excellence.

    In his new role at OLX India, Gupta will focus on strengthening the company’s advertising ecosystem through direct brand collaborations, strategic alliances, and innovative monetisation models.

    With his rich cross-industry experience and a flair for innovation, Gupta’s appointment marks a strong step forward in OLX India’s mission to accelerate growth in the evolving ad and partnerships landscape.

    Honda India announces pre-booking of New Amaze in latest teaser

    Mumbai: Automaker giant Honda Cars has rolled out a fresh teaser announcing the commencement of pre-bookings for New Amaze in India. 

    Conceptualised by Taproot Dentsu, the full-fledged campaign will go live on its social media platforms with the launch of the car on 18 August.

    Honda Amaze is positioned as a symbol of status for the upwardly moving aspirational Indian consumers, signifying that one ‘big move’ made while progressing in life.

    The new Amaze has added style and sophistication, and hence the brand decided to celebrate the premium offering with a new attitude. The teaser video features shots of the “shaandaar” New Amaze that are complemented by a track ‘Chaa gaya, dekho chaa gaya’ and a voice-over ‘Waqt Aagaya hai Shaan se Chalne ka’. It ends with the message, ‘New Honda Amaze, Bookings Open’.

    Rajiv Gupta moves on from Honda Cars, joins Tricolite as CEO

    New Delhi: Rajiv Gupta has quit as vice-president, sales & marketing of Honda Cars India. He will now lead Tricolite Electrical Industries as chief executive officer.

    The Delhi based company is involved in manufacturing of custom-built electrical panels and switchboards.

    Gupta has spent over five years at Honda Cars, an organisation he joined in April, 2016 as national head, sales planning, brand management and marketing communications. Prior to this, he was associated with Banyan Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd for investing, mentoring and scaling start-ups. He has also spent eight years as vice-president and head – retail channel management at Reliance Industries Ltd.

    A graduate from Harvard Business School, Gupta’s first stint with Honda Cars began in 1996 as manager of marketing.
