    At CarDekho, where he spent over seven years, Gupta was instrumental in scaling the new auto business to contribute over 20 per cent of company revenue. He also built strong alliances with top automotive brands such as Toyota, Hero, Hyundai, TVS, Honda Cars, and Ather, while spearheading digital innovations like AI voice bots, AR/VR tools, and chatbots to enhance engagement.

    His diverse career spans leadership roles at The Indian Express, ABP Group, Connecting Dots Asia, Hindustan Times, Nielsen Digital, Business Standard, and The Times of India, where he honed his expertise in digital transformation, strategic partnerships, and sales excellence.

    In his new role at OLX India, Gupta will focus on strengthening the company’s advertising ecosystem through direct brand collaborations, strategic alliances, and innovative monetisation models.

    Mumbai: Hero Indian Super League 2022-23 returns to Kolkata after a hiatus of two years.     Mumbai: The Hero Indian Women’s League (Hero IWL), an AIFF flagship property and the top division of women’s professional football club competition in India will have live and exclusive broadcast on Eurosport India. The fifth edition of the premier women’s league of Indian football will see 12 teams vie for the top honours across three grounds in Odisha (Kalinga Stadium, Capital Stadium and Battalion Stadium).

    The Hero IWL is back after two years with the fifth edition set to take place from 15 April to 26 May.

    A total of 66 matches will be played throughout the season with every team playing each other once; Eurosport will be airing 30 matches. The team with the most points in the league table at the end of the season will be crowned champions of the Hero IWL 2021-22.

    “It’s great to have Eurosport on board to telecast the Hero Indian Women’s League 2022 and help us move forward together,” IFF CEO leagues and development Sunando Dhar averred. “Since the format of the games this season has changed and more number of games are added, I am sure, the fans will also be able to enjoy the matches from their drawing room.”

    Eurosport India is committed to bringing Indian football to fans across the country. Sports fans have been able to cheer for their national team in friendly internationals against Oman and UAE as well as during the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship matches over the past year. Eurosport also broadcast the inaugural season of the Hero Futsal Club Championship and the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup, which was held in India.

    Hero IWL 2021-22 campaign kicked off on Friday, with simultaneous kickoffs at 4p.m IST, as PIFA Sports (Colaba) FC take on Kickstart FC Karnataka at the Capital Ground, while SSB Women FC faces Hans Women FC at the 7th Battalion Ground, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

    MUMBAI: Football fever is going strong in India with the seventh edition of the Hero ISL currently underway. As the first major live sporting league played in the country post the onset of Covid2019, the Hero ISL has logged a significant growth trajectory with a 16 per cent spike in viewership in the opening week (first eight matches), as compared to the previous season. The growth is universally seen across markets – HSM 18 per cent, south 14 per cent.

    Hero ISL returned on 20 November in a new 11 team avatar, raising the competition a notch higher. The highly-anticipated Kolkata Derby between SC East Bengal and ATK Mohun Bagan debuted on 27 November and recorded the highest viewership for the legendary rivalry match. In fact, it’s 10X the viewership this fixture garnered in the Hero I-League in January 2020 at an all-India level.

    “We are thrilled to deliver a blockbuster opening week of the Hero ISL 2020-21. After a successful Dream11 IPL 2020, we laid emphasis on an enhanced viewing experience for football by stressing on product innovations, improved story-telling and fan engagement. We hope to maintain the momentum and build on the gains in viewership in Week 1. Hero ISL 2020-21 has also set the precedence for other sporting events to resume in India by following the highest safety standards,” Star India head sports Sanjog Gupta said.

    Acknowledging fandom across the globe, Hero ISL 2020-21 is being live broadcast in 83 countries across TV and digital platforms. Star India, the official broadcast partner in India, airs the tournament in seven languages and fans can also catch the action live on Disney+ Hotstar VIP and JioTV.
