    The Daily Thanthi group launches Thanthi One channel

    Mumbai: The Daily Thanthi group unveiled its latest venture, “Thanthi One” on 19 May 2024, a dynamic addition to the Tamil entertainment sphere. Building on the success of its flagship Tamil daily newspaper – Daily Thanthi, and its acclaimed Tamil news TV channel – Thanthi TV and radio – Hello FM, the group now ventures into the realm of general entertainment with Thanthi One.

    Thanthi One sets itself apart by offering free access to its diverse content across multiple platforms including television, YouTube, web, and mobile app. Understanding the evolving preferences of viewers and the shifting landscape of content consumption in India, Thanthi One is committed to delivering a seamless viewing experience, catering to both linear and digital audiences.     Presenting a unique hourly format featuring daily and weekly programs. Starting from Coffee with Kadavul (6 am – 9 am) comprising three marquee properties Bala Krishna, Ganapathiye Varuvaai and Veera Anjaneya; Evergreen Pudhaiyalgal (12 pm – 3 pm) feat. Nostalgic serials namely Ilavarasi, Thamarai and Chellame edited for fast paced storyline and colour enhanced output. Mega Dramas (6 pm – 8 pm) consisting of weekly drops, the magnum opus of Indian TV Ficion ‘Porus’ (8 pm – 9 pm) and Super Hit Cinema (9 pm – 12 am) comprising a new movie every night!

    However, they also posit a unique differentiator in the Tamil market with their strategy to offer weekly drops of mega dramas from 6 pm – 8 pm!

    At 6 pm every day, there will be seven titles for the audience –

    1   Ahalyabai (Historical Fiction) – Mondays

    2   Tulsi c/o Krishna (Contemporary Fantasy) – Tuesdays

    3   Tenali Raman (Historical Dramedy) – Wednesdays

    4   Aladdin (Fantasy & Adventure) – Thursdays

    At 7 pm every day, yet again, there will be seven women-centric dramas for the audience –

    1   Vaa Di Rasathi – Mondays

    3   Vaanampadi – Wednesdays

    4   Koondukkili – Thursdays

    5   Piriyadha Varam Vendum – Fridays

    6   Ammu – Saturdays

    7   Gayathri – Sundays

    Hello FM appoints Gutfeel as creative AoR

    MUMBAI: Malar Publications promoted radio venture Hello FM 106.4 has awarded its creative duties to Chennai-based communication agency, Gutfeel.

    Confirming the development to Indiantelevision.com, Hello FM CEO Rajeev Nambiar said: “Gutfeel has lot of understanding of Tamil music and this is why we chose them. This is the team with resources from TBWA which had already worked for initial phases of Hello FM.”

    The account was awarded on the comfort level with the agency and there wasn’t any formal pitch that took place.

    The radio station airs in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Tirunelveli, Tuticorin and Pondicherry.
