    This is a home-coming of sorts for Keswani, who began her journey with Ogilvy & Mather Mumbai, way back in 2003 where she proceeded to handle some of the agency’s most prestigious businesses. Among them were Asian Paints, Mattel, Unilever, Google, Cadbury, Taj Hotels and TBZ. She also spent a year and a half at Ogilvy Singapore where she managed the GlaxoSmithKline, American Express and Kimberly Clark businesses.

    Her inherent leaning towards fashion and style, led her to the role of a Fashion Stylist at NBC in 2005 and more recently, at Condé Nast India where she led the Condé Nast factory – a content vertical for the publishing group.

    MUMBAI: Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) 2015, has announced that the industry’s notable business leader, D.J. Lee, President of CJ E&M Media Contents Business will be kicking off ATF’s pre-market conference as keynote speaker on 1 Dec 2015 at the Marina Bay Sands.

    Bibhash Jha quits Star Sports, joins Siti Cable

    MUMBAI: Multi system operator (MSO) Siti Cable has roped in Bibhash Jha as its head-content & carriage. Jha in his capacity will provide a fillip to the growth momentum of Siti Cable. The MSO is taking giant strides in this exciting phase of digitisation and Jha will play an instrumental role in this leap from analog to absolute digitisation.

     

    Jha has over 20 years of distribution work experience with 15 years at Star Sports India, where he played an instrumental role in the transition of ESPN channel to Star Sports India. In 2007, he played a key role in the launch of new sports channel Star Cricket. Under his ambit, a separate vertical of MSO business was created which was profitable in its very first year of operation. He was also responsible for the distribution of sports channel for Star on pan India basis.

    Raheel Khursheed joins Twitter India

    MUMBAI: Although Twitter India started its operations two years ago, it has always kept a low profile in the country. Subtly it keeps adding people to its organisation that is currently headed by Rishi Jaitley who is the director of the social media here. The recent appointment is former Times Now and CNN-IBN senior correspondent Raheel Khursheed as head of news, politics and government.

     

    According to a MediaNama report he will provide front-line technical support to journalists, politicians and governmental agencies. Twitter sources confirmed that he had joined the company but could not reveal any more details.

     

    Both Jaitley and Khursheed have mentioned his appointment on their Twitter pages. Prior to this Khursheed was with change.org where he was heading the communication strategy around campaigns in India and building its brand.

     

    The article also states that his role would be to work on expanding Twitter’s relation with journalists, government officials and politicians to increase their usage of the popular social media website.

     

    Twitter India has also hired Arvinder Gujral to head its mobile business development for India and south East Asia, Aneesh Madani to handle sports partnerships and Pratiksha Rao as associate partnerships manager.
