    Levi’s celebrates collective power of women with #IShapeMyWorld Season 5

    MUMBAI: This International Women’s day, Levi’s has unveiled the fifth season of the Levi’s #IShapeMyWorld campaign that celebrates the power of women, and their determination to inspire change. The new season is bigger, better and bolder as it beautifully weaves in 21 changemakers into a spirited music video that encourages women to shape their own destiny.

    The video features a prolific line-up of female personalities who have come together from different industries such as entertainment, fashion, sports, journalism and social change to celebrate the spirit of women empowerment. The campaign brings together industry icons like Swara Bhasker, Hard Kaur and Anjali Lama who return from previous seasons and new faces like Neena Gupta, Kubbra Sait, Sandhya Menon, and Malini Agarwal.

    True to the campaign thought that emphasises on the power of the collective, Levi’s assembled an all-female crew to execute this campaign and the track composed by singer songwriter Anushqa and rapper Hard Kaur.

    Levi’s India director marketing Meeta Bharvani said, “The #IShapeMyWorld campaign is driven by the insight that in a world that still tries to restrain women from achieving their potential by fueling insecurities about themselves; whether it is about her ‘body’ or her ‘being’; there are an increasing number of stories of women who took their chances and beat the odds.”

    “During the past 4 seasons of #ISMW, we drove inspiring stories of fearless women. This season we celebrate the power of the collective through women who are authentic, original and purposeful, all qualities that are inherent to the Levi’s® brand,” she added.

    MUMBAI: Indian Idol 3 top 2 versatile singers Parleen Gill and Abhishek Kumar have unveiled their first music album- ‘The Stagz’ featuring Pop singer Hard Kaur. The music video album ‘Who wants to party now’ is also a part of launch pack, being released on May 18.

    The singers claim that the song ‘Who wants to party now’ is a new age party anthem, composed by the 4 baj gaye fame, ‘Hard Kaur’. The makers also believe that the foot tapping music will promise to enthrall the music lovers with its high scaled techno addictive beats.

    The singers were thrilled to announce their first album, Speaking about the album launch, Parleen and Abhishek said,” We are proud to announce our first debut album as ‘The Stagz’. We are really excited about our debut album and we feel a nervous energy similar like giving a board exam all ever again!     9X Tashan launches ‘Mad Angles Music Star’

    MUMBAI: 9X Tahshan has made way for young music enthusiasts to join the ranks with musical hit makers like Honey Singh and Hard Kaur. The channel has partnered with ITC’s Bingo! Mad Angles to launch a talent hunt for the next music sensation in Punjab. 

    The talent hunt will provide singing enthusiasts an opportunity to showcase themselves and make an album along with the biggest singing superstars from Punjab.

    After successful rounds of auditions, the talent hunt received over 2500 entries. The on-ground reach of the activity was over 2.5 lakhs with over one million YouTube views.

    The talent hunt was launched via a music video titled ‘Bingo! Mad Angles song’ that features Punjab’s popular singers like Badshah, Ammy Virk, A Kay and Maninder Buttar. The song has been written, conceptualised and directed by 9XM and 9X Tashan, cluster head programming Baljinder Mahant, while JSL Singh has composed the music. 

    Those who want to audition will have to record their own renditions of the song and the winner of the talent hunt will get to feature in a music video with popular artists. 

    Elaborating on the thought behind the talent hunt, Mahant said, “Punjabi music is on the rise and there are many new artists that deserve to be heard in the commercial market. But due to the lack of funds and other restrictions in creating a new album or music videos talented new singers are not able to enter the industry. With large brands like Bingo! Mad Angles getting into the music space with such innovative partnerships the journey of new singers gets smooth and effortless.”

    The talent hunt will be promoted across TV, print, radio and on-ground platforms as well as across the digital and social media platforms of 9X Tashan and 9X Media. Big FM & Hindustan Times have been roped in as radio and print partners.

    The journey of the winner of the Bingo! Mad Angles Music Star will be covered in a special half hour episode to be aired on 9X Tashan.
