    CSA & GSC announce Sony Pictures Networks India as official broadcaster for MSL T20

    MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited (SPN) has partnered with Cricket South Africa (CSA) along with Global Sports Commerce (GSC), the Commercial Right Holder of Mzansi Super League T20 (MSL T20) for MSL T20 in India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. SPN’s sports channels SONY SIX & SONY ESPN will telecast MSL T20 matches, including the Play Off starting on 8th November 2019 & the grand finale on 16th December 2019. Season 2 of the MSL T20 will also be available on GSC’s partner OTT Platform Cricket Gateway on app and website www.cricketgateway.com.

    The sports channels of SPN, one of India’s premium sports destination holds the broadcast rights of international cricket in various countries like Australia, South Africa, England, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, etc.

    MUMBAI: Smartphone major Gionee India known to acquaint prominent campaigns from time to time to enhance its engagement with partners has announced exciting rewards and offers for Gionee Sales Champions (GSC), retailers and partners as part of its country-wide campaign ‘#GoForGold’.

    Selling a smartphone from the A Series will get the GSC points in the proportionate order as per the range of the device. The A Series has been monumental in Gionee’s growth in the current year. Following the soaring sales for the flagship device A1, Gionee launched two more propeller devices in the series – A1 Plus and A1 Lite, emerging as one of the top players, with 15 per cent market share in the price range of Rs. 15,000 – Rs. 25,000.

    The winners of the campaign will be rewarded by the HO team by 25 November. There will be three categories of awards, for top 50 GSCs, top 10 retailers and top 10 BDMs across India.   • Digital, sports & events co GSC to make Aus, NZ buys, receives funds

    MUMBAI: Global Sports Commerce (GSC) and its affiliate Techfront International, a supplier of in-stadium LED screens, as well as integrated sponsorship and digital solutions for sports and media events, has received funding to support acquisitions of Screencorp in Australia and Oled & Carniegie in New Zealand.

    BlackRock’s Private Credit team arranged sole financing for the combined transaction.

    The intended acquisitions will enable GSC to deepen penetration of the Australian and New Zealand digital sporting solutions markets, while entering the fast-growing digital billboard sector. Techfront Australia, a subsidiary of Techfront International, enjoys market leadership in Australia and New Zealand as partner to the AFL, All Blacks, NZ Cricket and in association with MKTG for Cricket Australia & Big Bash League.

    GSC CEO M S Muralidharan said, “These acquisitions will facilitate deep engagement with sports for GSC and Techfront and amounts to a template for replicating a successful model throughout Europe and North America. BlackRock’s support provides Techfront with greater impetus, and contributes to the consolidation of sports commerce worldwide via use of technology such as Commerce Optimiser.”

    Techfront Australia CEO Neil Maxwell said, “The addition of these companies provides TFA with an unparalleled scale in the Australian and New Zealand markets. We are now able to cater to an increased number of sports and in the process, provide broader offerings along with an enhanced level of service.”
