MUMBAI: Lead music channel MTV is launching two new shows — Graveyard Shift and Sitara.
Graveyard Shift, presented by Bacardi, airs daily at 10.30 p.m. and showcases the latest in English music, a company release says.
For Hindi music lovers there is Sitara – a one-hour ‘star thematised’ special that plays videos of popular Bollywood stars. Sitara airs Monday to Friday at 6 pm.
MTV GM creative Cyrus Oshidar was quoted in the release as saying: “We decided to create independent blocks so that the viewers would be able make an appointment with their kind of music and connect.”
