    Starring GRAMMY® Award–winning artist Tyla, the campaign embraces Gap’s roots as a pop culture brand working with artistic originals across fashion and music. Each frame showcases the seamless motion and effortless movement of the brand’s newest Linen Collection, inviting wearers to make each piece their own.

    Featuring worldwide hit “Back On 74” by the BRIT Award–nominated Jungle, with original choreography by Shay Latukolan, the campaign is directed by Jungle’s J Lloyd and Charlie Di Placido and inspired by the track’s official video, which became a global phenomenon on TikTok and inspired a dance craze with over a billion views.

    Tyla, the 22-year-old sensation born and raised in South Africa, is making waves with her recent Billboard Hot 100 hit “Water.” With a massive following, she has captivated audiences with dance routines and song covers, showcasing her unique style and individuality. Tyla’s creativity and authenticity align seamlessly with Gap’s commitment to championing originality.

    Justin Timberlake to write original music for DreamWorks’ ‘Trolls’

    MUMBAI: Nine-time Grammy and four-time Emmy Award winning musician and actor Justin Timberlake will serve as executive music producer as well as pen original music for DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls. In this role, Timberlake will oversee all creative direction for the film’s music as well as perform multiple songs on the soundtrack. The multifaceted artist also stars as Branch, a hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colors, in DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming comedy.

     

    Joined by Academy and Tony Award nominee Anna Kendrick as Princess Poppy, the two embark on a hair-raising adventure as the globally iconic Trolls make their motion picture debut. The film will be distributed on 4 November, 2016, by 20th Century Fox.

     

    “Justin is an amazingly versatile artist and producer whose unprecedented creative talents provide a unique voice and sound for our movie.Trolls is a comedy with fantastic music at its core and we can’t think of a more perfect artist to elevate this soundtrack to incredible heights,” said DreamWorks Animation co-presidents of feature animation Bonnie Arnold and Mireille Soria.

    “Between the fantastic work he’s doing in bringing to life the character of Branch and his production oversight on the soundtrack, we couldn’t be in more inspired hands,” said co-director Walt Dohrn.

     

    “I have always envisioned bringing the two worlds of film and music together for one epic event.  I couldn’t be more excited that they will collide in DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls. This film is very special, the music is going to be very special and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it all,” said Timberlake.

     

    Produced by Gina Shay, the film for the first time tells the story behind the beloved Trolls and their gravity defying and colourful manes.

    NEW DELHI: The world-renowned musician and 16-time Grammy Award winner Sting will star in the new comedy sitcom The Michael J. Fox Show, which currently airs on Star World Premiere HD.

     

    Sting will appear as himself in the upcoming Christmas themed episode of the show. He will perform a new song from his latest album, The Last Ship. The show’s makers are keeping the storyline under wraps to build anticipation.

     

    Excited about working with the British musician, Michael J. Fox said in a release: “We have been working with Sting for our Christmas show and I really am in love with the episode. I am eager to see viewer reactions to Sting being a part of our Christmas gala.”

     

    Though the storylines are being kept a secret, Betsy Brandt, who plays Mike’s wife, teasingly hinted on the storyline wherein her character Annie and her husband Mike (Michael J. Fox) try getting even with the other, outdoing the other in Christmas gifting.

    MUMBAI: The popular TV star has gone back to CAA after being with UTA for seven months. She has also moved on from long-time manager Sarah Jackson but has not yet signed up a new manager.

     

    Deschanel has won an Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations. She is also a singer and songwriter and has been nominated in the Grammy awards.

     

    She shot to fame with the TV show New Girl that has done well with the viewers. Ex-manager Jackson’s Seven Summits still continues to represent clients like Homeland’s Morena Baccarin and comedian Russel Peters.

    Muse to perform live on 2 June as part of global premiere of “World War Z” in London

    NEW DELHI: Paramount Pictures has teamed up with Grammy Award-winning British band Muse to feature the band‘s music in the new film World War Z with tracks from Muse‘s latest album The 2nd Law.

    Following the film‘s world premiere in London‘s Leicester Square on 2 June, Muse will perform live from Horse Guards Parade Ground, St. James‘s Park.

    World War Z revolves around an ex-United Nations investigator Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Starring Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and James Badge Dale, the film is set to release on 21 June.
     
    Since forming in 1994, Muse has released six studio albums selling upwards of 15 million albums worldwide. The band earned its highest-ever debut on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart when The 2nd Law bowed at No 2 a week after its October 2 release. Madness, the first single from the album, was No 1 on the Billboard Alternative Chart for 19 weeks, breaking the previous record set in 2007. The 2nd Law and Madness received two Grammy Nominations this year. The group‘s last album, The Resistance, reached No 1 in 19 countries around the world, and they have won numerous awards including a Best Rock Album Grammy Award and an American Music Award for The Resistance.
     
    World War Z is directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Matthew Michael Carnahan and Drew Goddard & Damon Lindelof, and screen story by Matthew Michael Carnahan and J. Michael Straczynski. Based on the novel by Max Brooks, it is produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Ian Bryce.
