    MUMBAI: The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) of India has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 7 November and 13 November 2020.

    The data reflects the top 10 advertisers and brands across genres on India’s television, 2+ Individuals, NCCS. All demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week 45 of 2020.

    Top Advertisers:

    Hindustan Unilever continued to be the biggest advertiser this week also with 242868 impressions.

    It was followed by Reckitt Benckiser India, which ranked second with 199453 ad generations.

    Godrej Consumer Products bagged the third rank this time with 50019 ad impressions. ITC came in fourth with 39838 ad generations.

    Ponds India and Cadbury India secured fifth and sixth place with 38832 and 37918 ad views.

    Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Wipro, P&G, Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, and Coca Cola India.

    Top Brands:

    This week Dettol Antiseptic Liquid led the chart with 29742 ad impressions, followed by Lizol with 23271 ad views. Dettol Toilet Soaps secured the third position with 22814 ad insertions.

    The fourth and fifth spots were acquired by Santoor Sandal & Turmeric and Harpic Power Plus/Bathroom Cleaner with 18572 and 12071 ad generations.

    Vimal Elaichi Pan Masala bagged the sixth spot with 11878 ad views.

    Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Amazon.in, Harpic Bathroom Cleaner, Sprite,  Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean.

    The data reflects the top 10 advertisers and brands across genres on India’s television, 2+ Individuals, NCCS. All demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in the 44 week of 2020.

    Top Advertisers:

    Hindustan Unilever continued to be the biggest advertiser this week also with 295719 impressions.

    It was followed by Reckitt Benckiser India which ranked second with 149331 ad generations.

    Wipro Ltd bagged the third rank this time with 38113 ad impressions. Ponds India came in fourth with 29701 ad generations.

    Godrej Consumer Products Ltd and ITC Ltd secured fifth and sixth place with 29569 and 28529 ad views.

    Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, Cadburys India Ltd, Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd and Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd.

    Top Brands:

    This week Dettol Toilet Soaps led the chart with 20931 ad impressions, followed by Lizol with 19874 ad views. Dettol Antiseptic Liquid secured the third position with 18276 ad insertions.

    The fourth and fifth spots were acquired by Amazon.in and Close Up Ever Fresh with 16786 and 13349 ad generations.

    Lux Toilet Soap bagged the sixth spot with 12930 ad views.

    Other top brands in the pecking order were as follows: Clinic Plus Shampoo, Santoor Sandal And Turmeric, Boost, Myntra.Com.

    The data reflects top 10 advertiser and brands across genre on Indian television, including OOH screen, (U+R): 2+, Individuals NCCS All, demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week 44 of 2019.

    Top Advertisers:

    There have been little changes in the BARC top advertisers’ list in week 44 as compared to the past week. Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd remained the top two performers with 209521 and 69373 ad insertions, respectively.

    ITC Ltd has grabbed third position with 45744 ad insertions. Brooke Bond Lipton India was spotted in the fourth position this time as it made 41777 insertions on TV. Wipro Ltd moved up five spots to rank fifth with 35309 insertions.

    The pecking order of the top 10 advertisers in week 44 were Hindustan Lever,  Reckitt Benckiser, ITC Ltd,  Brooke Bond Lipton India, Wipro Ltd, Ponds India, Procter & Gamble, Cadburys India, Godrej Consumer and Colgate Palmolive India at first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth position respectively.

The second spot was acquired by Surf Excel Easy Wash with 13807 insertions. Trivago grabbed third position with 12457 insertions. Clinic Plus Shampoo, Lux Toilet Soap, Lifebuoy Toilet Soap, Lizol, Honda Activa 125, Santoor Beauty Soaps and MDH Masala Range were the other top brands spotted in the top 10 brand's list of BARC India ratings week 44.

    The data reflects top 10 advertiser and brands across genre on Indian television, including OOH screen, (U+R): 2+, Individuals NCCS All, demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week 41 of 2019.

     Top Advertisers:

    There have been little changes in the BARC top advertisers’ list in week 40 as compared to the past week. Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd remained the top two performers with 156539 and 102356 ad insertions, respectively.

    Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd was replaced from the third position by Procter & Gamble, which ranked sixth the past week, with 44196 insertions.

    ITC Ltd climbed up a spot to rank fourth this time as it made 37308 insertions on TV. Godrej Consumer Products Ltd moved up five spots to rank fifth with 36026 insertions.

    Lizol ranked up a spot to sit on third position with 12647 insertions. Dettol antiseptic liquid made fresh entry into the list on fourth position, with 10701 insertions. It was followed by Colgate Dental Cream that had 9662 insertions.

    The data reflects top 10 advertiser and brands across genre on Indian television, including OOH screen, (U+R): 2+, Individuals NCCS All, demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week 37 of 2019.

    Top Advertisers:

    Minor changes were noticed in the BARC ratings in week 37. Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd remained in the top two slots with 143015 and 109810 ad insertions, respectively.

    Godrej Consumer Products Ltd and Procter & Gamble interchanged their last week’s position to rank third and fourth, respectively. They had made 45585 and 37797 insertions. ITC Ltd climbed up three ranks to stand fifth with 34665 insertions.

     Top Advertisers:

    There have been little changes in the BARC top advertisers’ list in the week 36 as compared to the past week. Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd remained the top two performers with 144065 and 142324 ad insertions, respectively.

    Procter & Gamble climbed back to the third position from last week’s seventh, with 35271 insertions. It replaced Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, which slipped down a spot to rank fourth with 34577 insertions.

    Top Advertisers:

    There have been little changes in the BARC top advertisers’ list in the week 34 as compared to the past week. Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd remained the top two performers with 184652 and 93829 ad insertions, respectively.

    Godrej Consumer Products Ltd stayed firm at third position, as it made 35824 insertions. ITC Ltd was replaced by Cadbury’s India Pvt Ltd that climbed from last week’s seventh position with 31791 insertions.

    Godrej Expert unveils TVC for new easy 5-minute hair colour

    MUMBAI: Godrej Expert, India's foremost and largest selling hair colour brand from the house of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL), launched a TVC of its latest innovation in the hair colour category; Godrej Expert easy 5-minute hair colour.  The new TVC featuring Sneha and Prasanna, is released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages for the South region.

    Through this campaign, Godrej Expert Easy 5-minute hair colour aims to create awareness about this new innovative hair colouring solution for consumers, which can eliminate all effort from conventional hair colouring process. It is the perfect solution for the busy time pressed consumer who is seeking a convenient hair colouring ritual.

    Conceptualised by Creativeland Asia, the film opens in a living room of a South Indian family where a father and daughter are having a sweet moment; the daughter is sitting on the father’s shoulders counting his grey hair. The daughter is surprised that the count of the grey hair has increased to 30 and expresses the same in a shocking way. The father refrains from colouring his greys as he feels hair colouring process is a very messy and cumbersome exercise. Just then the mother who is watching the conversation from far steps in and hands over Godrej Expert Easy 5-minute hair colour to her husband. He applies Godrej Expert Easy and the TVC signs off with a happy father who is pleased with the results and the convenience of usage.

    Speaking on Godrej Expert Easy and its TVC campaign, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd CEO – India and SAARC Sunil Kataria said, “Hair colouring is a tiresome process given the conventional hair colouring process and hence they often avoid it. Given the different formats, shampoo based hair colour format in India has had a dramatic growth in the last 4 years and one of the main reasons for this shift is the ease of product usage for the busy time pressed consumer. Through this TVC, we wanted to highlight the convenience of using a shampoo based hair colouring format which is not only quick but is also enriched with the benefits of amla and shikakai.”

    Commenting on the TVC,  Creativeland Asia Group chief creative officer Anu Joseph said, “Godrej Expert understands the conventional man and hence always find an engaging way to connect with their audience. It always has a certain appeal in its communication, and is constantly looking for topics that are relevant to its users, to be associated with.’’

    Actors Sneha and Prasanna, who are prominent names in the South Indian film industry, are now the brand ambassadors for Godrej Expert Easy. Southern region is a key market for Godrej Expert Easy 5-minute hair colour and thus the campaign is released in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

    MUMBAI: Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 12 January 2019 and 18 January 2019.

    The data reflects top 10 advertisers and brands across genre on Indian television (U+R): 2+ Individuals demonstrating ads that were inserted the most in week 3 of 2019.

    Top advertisers:

    Hindustan Unilever Ltd has remained unmoved from its top advertiser spot even after several weeks. In week 3 of 2019, the brand made 131698 insertions.

    Reckitt Benckiser, which owns a large portfolio of products like Dettol, Veet, Durex condoms, Strepsils, Air Wick, and Harpic, is also holding strong to its second position and made 81596 insertions in week 3 of 2019.

    Following it is ITC Ltd, holding a portfolio of varied products including Sunfeast, Candyman, Vivel, Classmate, and Engage, was still strong in the third spot with 42964 insertions.

    Godrej Consumer Products Ltd has replaced Procter & Gamble from last week’s fourth spot, with 33414 insertions. Ponds India remains in the fifth position with 28360 insertions.

    Top Brands:

    Dettol Liquid Soap held strong to its freshly acquired top spot in the brands' category with 18629 insertions. Godrej Expert Rich Creme Hair Colour made a new entry on the second spot with 13888 insertions.

    Santoor Sandal and Turmeric has stepped up one spot from its last week’s rankings and is on the third position with 10168 insertions.

    Dettol Toilet Soaps has once again slipped to its fourth spot (from last week’s second) after a week’s gap and had made 9662 insertions in week 3.

    Trivago has slipped further down to fifth position (it was on number one spot for the past few weeks before slipping to the third spot in week 2) with 9661 insertions.
