    GIGABYTE to unveil high-tech products, Host CS2 1v1 at India Gaming Show 2024

    Mumbai:  GIGABYTE, a computer hardware, is to announce that it will be participating in the prestigious India Gaming Show 2024. The Sixth India Gaming Show 2024, an international gaming, animation, and infotainment event is being organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) from March 14 to 16 in Pune, India.

    As a part of this collaboration, GIGABYTE will be setting up a highly interactive booth, showcasing its high-tech products including the G5 MF laptop and GS Series Monitors. Gamers in attendance will be able to test out a variety of top-notch AAA titles on GIGABYTE products, showcasing the hardware’s capabilities.

    GIGABYTE India the Asst. general manager Supriya Gawde Mankame said, “At GIGABYTE, we’re thrilled to be part of the India Gaming Show 2024, showcasing our products directly to gamers.     Additionally, GIGABYTE will be hosting a 1v1 Counter-Strike 2 showdown where every gamer can participate. Gamers can register for the tournament at the booth to compete in the latest GIGABYTE gaming laptops and win exciting prizes.

    The GIGABYTE 1v1 Counter-Strike 2 showdown will happen alongside the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024, an international esports event for the game at the India Gaming Show. The tournament will feature four teams – one from India, one from Australia, and two international invites – competing for a share of the $50,000 prize pool.

    Furthermore, The Indonesian Embassy has partnered with Skyesports to host a historic diplomatic esports show match as India and Indonesia mark 75 years of diplomatic relations. It will feature a top team from Indonesia locking horns with the Indian champions to promote the gaming industries of both countries and explore avenues for further collaboration.

    GIGABYTE and Skyesports launch Rs 125,000 Cafe League 2024 in five cities

    Mumbai:  GIGABYTE, a global leader in computer hardware, has tied up with Skyesports esports tournament organiser, to bring the GIGABYTE Cafe League 2024, a high-octane grassroots-level esports tournament, where players from five different cities can compete in their local gaming cafes for bragging rights and a share of the Rs 1,25,000 Prize Pool.

    The GIGABYTE Cafe League 2024 will head to 5 different cities across India. In each city, players will have the chance to compete in an open-for-all Counter-Strike 2 tournament, featuring an Rs 25,000 Prize Pool. Registrations for the tournament are currently open.     Additionally, each city in the GIGABYTE Cafe League 2024 will have a dedicated experience zone, offering players a chance to game on state-of-the-art GIGABYTE laptops like the GIGABYTE G5 MF and the AORUS 15 9KF.

    In each city, the GIGABYTE Cafe League will happen over three days. In the first two days, the offline qualifiers will be held as the top local teams vie for a spot in the exciting Finale on Day 3. Finally, the top teams will convene on Day 3, which will be a live-streamed affair on the Skyesports YouTube channel, to determine the city champions.

    Mumbai: Gigabyte Technology and its gaming brand ‘Aorus’ the associate sponsor of Lucknow Super Giants have launched the team’s metaverse. It is the first of its kind for sports in India that will help the team and fans to get closer.

    This created platform will serve as a one-of-a-kind experience for the fans who especially this time around can’t visit the stadium due to the fact that the entire IPL group stage is being hosted in Maharashtra.

    The experience features a virtual creation of the Cricket Sports Stadium, from its distinctive curved facade to the spiral walkway at the front. Also featured are exclusively designed panels along the stadium’s internal walls, where visitors to the experience can view player stats and try on their jerseys. The external walls of the stadium are covered in vibrant custom artwork evoking the unique spirit of Lucknow through dancers, musicians and place-specific details.

    The cherry on the top will be visitors will have a unique opportunity to be one of the lucky few people who will get to make metaverse history and meet their cricketing idols in an exclusive meet-and-greet in this virtual world, and additionally, have a chance to win a real-life Gigabyte PC by competing in a PC assembly game.     Mumbai: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has announced Gigabyte Technology as its associate sponsor for IPL 2022. According to a statement, this partnership is a strategic win for both, as a unique marketing approach will help them to reach out to and engage with a much larger spectrum of audience who love both sports and e-sports.

    The Taiwan-headquartered organisation has been making significant investments in the gaming industry in the past few years and this will be its foray into advertising in sports. “Gigabyte will sponsor the team’s headgear (helmet and cap), with logos on the side and back. While the Gigabyte logo will be visible on the side of the Lucknow Super Giants’ headgear, the company’s gaming brand  ‘Aorus’ will be present on the back,” said the statement.

    “We are delighted to be partnering with a global enterprise like Gigabyte,” Lucknow Super Giants CEO Raghu Iyer said. “We are sure this relationship will be mutually beneficial for both companies.
