    MUMBAI: From playlists to prompt lists, Vasundhara Mudgil is tuning into a whole new frequency. The former head of communications at Spotify India has joined OpenAI as India communications lead, marking a major career shift from music streaming to machine learning.

    Based in Mumbai, Mudgil will now lead OpenAI’s communications strategy in one of the company’s fastest-growing markets. Her role will focus on shaping the brand’s local voice, driving engagement, and aligning India’s narrative with OpenAI’s global mission.

    At Spotify, Mudgil was instrumental in crafting the brand’s story during its India launch and steering its communications for over seven years. She built a distinct local identity for the platform while ensuring its messaging struck the right chord with both listeners and media.

    Before her streaming stint, she headed communications at Intel India, where she drove brand messaging, managed external engagement, and navigated crisis communications. Her early career at Genesis Burson-Marsteller saw her managing high-profile clients across tech, telecom and media, steadily rising to associate partner.

    With nearly two decades of experience in reputation management and strategic storytelling, Mudgil brings both tech fluency and creative finesse to OpenAI’s expanding India team. Looks like OpenAI’s next big story in India is ready to be well-communicated, and perfectly composed.

    Her earlier career spans stints at DuPont, where she managed external and leadership communications across South Asia; Alcatel-Lucent India, where she developed integrated marketing campaigns; and MetLife, where she ran corporate communications for India. She began her career at Genesis Burson-Marsteller, supporting clients on insurance and financial services.

    Hero MotoCorp said Taneja’s appointment reflects the company’s sharpened focus on long-term value creation, stronger governance and broader stakeholder engagement as the mobility sector undergoes rapid transformation.

    Known for her passion for policy, partnerships and sustainability, Taneja has consistently worked at the intersection of communications, corporate affairs and social responsibility.     MUMBAI: It’s been three months since Kasturi Paladhi joined Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages as head of external communications and social media, bringing fizz to the firm’s public affairs, communications and sustainability team.

    “Consider this my official ‘better late than never’ announcement!” Paladhi wrote  on social media, describing her first three months as “nothing short of a roller coaster ride” while “living the coke side of life.”

    The communications veteran appears particularly happy  about joining the integrated PACS team (public affairs, communications and sustainability) focused on building corporate reputation. She thanked her boss Himanshu Priyadarshi for the “jump start into the world of FMCG”.

    Paladhi brings a bottle full of experience to the role, having previously served as assistant vice president at Protean eGov Technologies and head of public relations at CoinSwitch. Her longest stint was at Xiaomi India, where she spent over three years leading PR and communications.

    The communications pundit’s career has fizzed with variety. She previously spent brief periods at Black Shark, MSLGroup and two charitable organisations—Charities Aid Foundation India and Genesis Foundation. Her early career included a three-year stretch at Genesis Burson-Marsteller and a two-year gig as campus radio jock for Fever 104 FM.

    With her postgraduate diploma in public relations from Xavier Institute of Communications and background in English literature from Miranda House, Paladhi appears well-equipped to keep Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages’ messaging as refreshing as its beverages.

    MUMBAI: Her’s has been a 20 year  plus journey. Prasidha Menon began her career as a graduate trainee with HRD Coonsultants In Kolkata. She quietly worked there for a little over two years. Little did she imagine at that stage she would be leading brand, product communications for the Asia Pacific regions for one of the top global home sharing brand  platforms– Airbnb.

    Prasidha accepted her promotion from her position as regional head of communications for Airbnb for India & south east Asia  gleefully.  

    Said she: “It’s an absolute honour and privilege to step into this regional leadership position at a time when Asia Pacific is uniquely positioned to drive Airbnb’s growth and expansion globally, and I am excited to play an integral role in this journey.”

    Prior to Airbnb, Prasidha had a year log stay at Optum as director & head, brand, marketing & communications. Oyo Hotels was another stop for a couple of years vice-president & global head of communications, which was preceded by a short stint at Uber India where her last appointment was as head of communications -India and south Asia. 

    Her first exposure to communications was at Positive Communications for a year, which was followed by editorial jobs at two firms where she honed her writing and subbing skills. She then moved into Genesis Burson -Marsteller, following which she spent four years at Edelman in India, and in the Bay area.
