    Veedehi Patel appointed head of HR at Adani Defence and Aerospace

    MUMBAI: Adani Defence and Aerospace has appointed Veedehi Patel as its new head of human resources, entrusting her with the mission of shaping a dynamic and inclusive workplace. With a strong background in talent development, workforce planning, and organisational design, she is set to play a key role in driving strategic HR initiatives.

    Patel brings a wealth of expertise from her tenure at Adani Enterprises Limited, GE Grid Solutions, LM Wind Power, and GE HealthCare. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in strengthening HR strategies, fostering employee engagement, and building high-performing teams.

    An MBA graduate in human resources management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, she is known for her people-centric approach. At Adani Defence and Aerospace, she will focus on enhancing employee experiences, aligning HR practices with business objectives, and cultivating a culture of innovation and collaboration.

    Apurva Jani gets expanded marketing role at Intel India

    MUMBAI: He’s spent a large part of his early career in the automotive industry at leading brands and firms. However, Apurva Jani  has been at global chip leader Intel for the almost a decade, rising to director of marketing for Intel’s sales, communications, and marketing group in India. 

    Now the chip maker has expanded his remit to include the amplification of the company’s brand presence and driving growth in both consumer and B2B markets, according to a news report on storyboard18.

    A mechanical engineer and a  PGDBA in marketing from NMIMS, Apurva began his career at Tata Motors, moved onto Ford Motor as regional sales manager, then worked with Mahindra & Mahindra as DGM – marketing, crossed industries into health care as director of advertising promotions at GE Healthcare, before landing up at Intel as consumer marketing head in 2015, where he has stayed put since.

    According to Apurva, he has  have been successful in disrupting the norms in highly competitive industries over his 23-year long career. Intel probably is relying on him to do so once again!

    Intelsat names Naren Mansharamani as VP – financial planning & analysis

    MUMBAI: Intelsat S.A. has appointed Naren Mansharamani as vice president of financial planning & analysis (FP&A).

     

    In his role, Mansharamani will lead Intelsat’s FP&A and Corporate Development team in further enhancing and sustaining a strong analytic framework that will bridge strategy and operations with finance and accounting to support the company’s business objectives. He will be based in McLean, VA and report to Intelsat CEO and interim CFO Stephen Spengler.

     

    Mansharamani joins Intelsat from SABIC Innovative Plastics formerly known as General Electric (GE) Plastics where he served as director of the Americas. In his role, he was responsible for the overseeing the overall financial performance of the company’s $3 billion Americas division. He also held the role of director of finance & pricing for the company’s $2 billion Global Automotive division. Overall Mansharamani spent 18 years with various business divisions in GE where he held increasing roles of responsibility in GE Plastics, GE Silicones, GE Healthcare and GE Capital. Prior to joining GE, he worked with Ernst & Young for three years.

     

    Mansharamani holds a B.Com from Delhi University and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Accountant.
