    Mumbai: PVR INOX Ltd leading multiplex chain has announced that it will present the live screening of the traditional Republic Day parade on India’s 75 Republic Day celebrations, on 26 January 2024. PVR INOX will be broadcasting this grand event live with AAJ TAK across its 30 cinemas in 16 cities. The parade will be screened live across PVR INOX’s marquee cinemas in UP, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab and Kerala. The live screening of the Republic Day parade is scheduled from 9 am onwards.     PVR INOX hosts special screening of ‘Wish’ for Make-A-Wish Foundation kids

    Mumbai: PVR INOX Ltd, India’s leading multiplex chain, partnered with Make-A-Wish Foundation to organise a special screening of Disney’s upcoming film ‘Wish’ for children diagnosed with critical illnesses. The film was showcased today at PVR ICON, Phoenix Palladium, Lower Parel and was attended by 50 children accompanied by their guardians and the team of Make-A-Wish Foundation.

    Through this initiative, PVR INOX, in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Foundation, helped to fulfil the cherished wishes of 50 children between the ages three and 18 of watching a film in a cinema. Disney’s film ‘Wish’ will take viewers through the journey of a young girl who wishes upon a star, leading to the arrival of a trouble-making star from the sky to join her. The film resonates with the Foundation’s core message that every wish has the potential to come true.

    In the upcoming film, “Wish,” the central character Asha, is portrayed by Oscar-winner Ariana DeBose. The film features voiceovers by actors Chris Pine, Alan Tudyk, and Evan Peters, amongst others and is Disney Pixar’s 62nd animated feature film.

In case of a transaction for multiple tickets, one ticket can be redeemed using a Passport coupon and the rest can be paid for, through any other regular mode of payment. The Passport is a non-transferrable subscription and will have to be availed by a single user, who will have to show Government identity proof at the time of checking in to the cinema. The Passport is valid at all PVR & INOX cinemas across India, except the Southern states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana and cities including Chandigarh, Puducherry, Pathankot, Srinagar, Bharuch, Bhiwadi, Jorhat, Kalka, Siliguri and Colombo. PVR INOX is happy to announce an Early Access Show of Expend4bles on 20 September, but it will happen only in the city with the maximum Expend4bles fans! This will be a city-exclusive screening and fans will have to cast a vote for bringing this screening to their city. Fans from more than 110 cities in India can vote.

    Expend4bles fans can vote for their preferred city on the PVR app/website between 10 to 14 September. The lucky city with the highest votes will be announced on 15 September. The fans can also check the real-time voting status during the voting days on the PVR app and website.
