    MUMBAI: Fujifilm India is bringing a new era of instant photography with the launch of its high-end hybrid instant camera, instax Wide Evo. Unveiled by film star and brand ambassador Kartik Aaryan, this latest addition to the instax series promises creativity on a grand scale. Set to hit stores from 20 February at an sticker price of Rs 47,999, the Wide Evo comes in a premium edition combo pack with 20 wide shots. Pre-bookings kick off on 4 February via Instax.in and select retail outlets, with early buyers receiving a complimentary designer film worth Rs 1,299.

    The instax Wide Evo builds on the success of the instax mini Evo, offering a Wide format film for twice the image size. It allows users to preview shots on an Lcd screen before printing and can also function as a smartphone printer. Equipped with ten lens effects and ten film effects—including magenta, monochrome, light leak, and colour gradient—the camera enables up to 100 creative shooting combinations. The new degree control feature, introduced for the first time in the instax series, allows precise adjustments to light intensity and colour gradation across 100 levels, making every shot a masterpiece.

    The camera sports a sleek black and metallic finish, offering a luxurious, analogue-inspired design with intuitive dials and a manual Print Crank for a hands-on photography experience. Additionally, it introduces the Wide Angle Mode for capturing broader scenes and a Film Style feature to enhance printed shots.

    Shot against the bustling and vibrant backdrop of Berhampore, West Bengal, the film brings to life the journey of a cancer survivor and her family. As her daughter recounts the emotional highs and lows, viewers see the unwavering dedication of two compassionate medical professionals, Paromita and Ipsita, who symbolise hope in the face of despair.

    The narrative showcases Fujifilm’s advanced diagnostic solutions, enabling early detection and precise treatment, which transformed the survivor’s life. It’s not just about a medical journey—it’s about resilience, human connection, and the unshakeable spirit of a mother and daughter.

    The story concludes on a high note, with the survivor dedicating her second chance at life to raising awareness about breast cancer, handing out pamphlets, and inspiring women to prioritise their health. What’s more inspiring than that?

    What makes this film stand out? Well for starters, the film is directed by Ranvir Kumar Suman and produced by Seaface Films, this project involved over 80 crew members, ensuring every detail of the survivor’s journey was authentically captured. Took over three days to shoot across seven locations, the film doesn’t just tell a story—it transports you straight to the heart of West Bengal. And last but not the least, the project used Fujinon Premista Cine lenses, adding cinematic brilliance to its emotional narrative.

The making of this exhilarating ad film hasn’t been a smooth ride with every changing weather condition of Rann of Kutch that consumed at least 30 days of travel for me, from concept to the shoot. But the grandeur of this ad film has made it all worth the time, patience, and hard work.  We shot extensively in Dholavira and the recently developed “Road to Heaven” which were very tough to shoot however our Fujifilm Fujinon Premista Cine lenses and the excellent production team made them look easy.     Mumbai: Fujifilm India, a pioneer in diagnostic imaging and information systems for healthcare facilities, has rolled out a new campaign titled “Never Stop: Innovating for a Healthier World,” featuring two new videos under it.

    The campaign films premiered on Fujifilm India’s official YouTube channel and will be amplified across digital media platforms, OOH, and television channels in the next few days with the aim of generating awareness about regular health screening.

    Aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of regular medical tests to eliminate the chance of chronic health ailments, the campaign videos focus on the significance of timely health checkups for people of all ages.

    Moreover, the new campaign features the world-class diagnostic facilities provided by the Nura centre in partnership with Fujifilm. Recently, it has roped in fitness ideal Milind Soman as their healthcare and wellness brand ambassador.

    The films are based on the concept of a family doctor recommending his friends undergo regular health check-ups in order to avoid diagnostic delays. While emphasising the Nura centre’s innovations which help in early detection and diagnosis, the first film features a family of three—husband, wife, and a child—where the wife is seen complaining of tiredness, fatigue, and low energy levels. She is recommended by their family friend, who is a doctor, to go for a health check-up. After a thorough screening, she is then advised to visit a breast radiologist after early detection.

    In the second film, a doctor calls upon his friend and patient and advises him to give his elderly parents the gift of a health checkup for their healthy future on their wedding anniversary. The parents are shown undergoing the screening, and the doctor advises them to consult an orthopaedic specialist. In both the campaign films, Fujifilm and Nura stress the importance of utilising technological innovations that will help people screen themselves regularly in order to lead a healthy lifestyle. They demonstrate the importance of screening both younger and older adults on a regular basis to detect and treat diseases in their early stages for a healthier future.

    Mumbai: Fujifilm India Pvt Ltd, a global player in camera and imaging technologies, has announced the elevation of Arun Babu from general manager, EID & optical device to the head of division – electronic imaging, optical devices, and Instax division. The elevation will come into effect on 11 October.

    In his new role, Babu will be responsible for the general management of all the three divisions and looking after the end-to-end operations of the combined divisions, said the company in a statement.

    As he takes on this new role, Fujifilm India is hopeful to further establish itself in the Indian photographic industry and strengthen its commitment towards delivering world-class innovative camera products, it added.

    “Under the leadership of Arun Babu, our camera division has witnessed tremendous growth over the years. In this new role, he will be looking after our complete camera offerings and scale the business to new heights,” said Fujifilm India MD Koji Wada, welcoming Babu on board.

    Babu had joined Fujifilm India in May 2018 and since then has been responsible for the growth and success of Fujifilm cameras in India. In the past, he has been associated with companies like Sony and Videocon.

    A post-graduate in business administration from IMSCD&R Pune University, he has more than 18 years of experience working in the industry in various roles.

    “Instax cameras and accessories have been doing extremely well with the audiences in the past. The cameras have been performing well with the youth and I hope that I am able to take this growth to the next level,” said Babu on his new role.

    The new digital film is a reflection of how the brand mirrors its values and convictions through the concept of Never Stop. It revolves around an endearing old Indian couple visiting the hospital for wife’s health check-up. The story unfolds by highlighting how the granddaughter tries to cheer her grandmother by capturing the moment with Instax and further spreads a smile on her grandfather by showing him the instant film of his happy wife.

    As the Lady is taken for various checkups, the video highlights Fujifilm’s Advanced Diagnostic Imaging System that comes with top-notch technologies. The film beautifully captures the raw emotions of the family as the doctor examines the reports of the patient and delivers the happy news of a normal report. The film ends with a content family returning home where the grandson captures the happy moment in his Fujifilm digital camera.
