    FreshMenu strengthens leadership team; appoints Jyotishman Deka as chief business officer

    Mumbai: The leading food-tech and cloud kitchen company FreshMenu has appointed Jyotishman Deka as chief business officer. Deka will work closely with founder and CEO Rashmi Daga to further accelerate the growth of the brand. Jyotishman comes with over 20 years of experience of working with MNCs as well as startups. 

    In his new role, he will look after business expansion, driving overall revenue and growth for the business. FreshMenu has also raised a capital of Rs 50 crore from Florintree Advisors, a growth stage venture capital firm. In the upcoming months, FreshMenu plans on using the new funding to target Rs 200 crore ARR in FY23 and double the kitchen footprint, while scaling its upcoming brands. 

    Speaking of his appointment, Jyotishman Deka said, “It is an interesting time for the food tech industry and FreshMenu in particular. I am excited to take this opportunity to drive a customer-focused approach to garner exponential growth for FreshMenu. I believe FreshMenu’s potential is limitless, and look forward to working with the teams to build and fast-track the brand’s momentous growth in the days to come.”

    MUMBAI: The latest video from the #Trysomethingnew campaign by FreshMenu.com features multi-talented Behram Siganporia, lead vocalist and bass guitarist of the electro-pop band ‘Best Kept Secret’.

    With a daily changing menu inspired from cuisines across the world, FreshMenu offers something new every day. In alignment with the brand’s ethos,#Trysomethingnew campaign features inspiring tales of individuals who have explored novel avenues and discovered new possibilities in life.

    The 4th episode of the campaign narrates the success story of Bangalore’s heartthrob, BehramSiganporia. Besides being a musical sensation, Behram is also a qualified commercial pilot. Hereceived his commercial pilot licence from the Epic Aviation Flying Academy in Florida.

    But in quest of trying something new, he quit his successful career as a commercial pilot and pursued his love for music starting his band, ‘Best Kept Secret’.

    MUMBAI: FreshMenu.com, one of the leading online restaurants, recently launched its online campaign, #TrySomethingNew .The series features inspiring young individuals who have dared to try something different in their lives.

    FreshMenu pioneered the concept of app-based food delivery kitchens in the country. A team of about 500, FreshMenu.com operates its own kitchens, cooks food in-house, and runs its own delivery fleet to drive the entire process of food ordering.

    The campaign resonates with FreshMenu’s belief which encourages people to try something new every day with a daily changing menu inspired from cuisines across the world. It encourages people to explore novel avenues and discover new possibilities in life.

    The series so far has featured three charismatic and dynamic individuals.

    The first video features Charles Ma, a professional Bharatanatyam soloist and guru, whose passion for dance goes beyond the classical idiom to tell us about his inquiry into this mystical art form.

    While the second video narrates the story of underwater photography professional, Bhushan Bagadia whose urge to try something new helped him discover his love for the marine world and sparked his love for underwater photography.

    The newest and the third video features popular illustrator Alicia Souza. While Alicia loved sketching, she never considered it as a viable career option. She worked with several brands including Chumbak before she started her own project.
