MUMBAI: A few days ago British soccer great David Beckham presented his new Adidas Predator boots at the recently opened adidas Sport Performance Store on Broadway as well as at football shoot-out at Brooklyn Bridge in New York.
The new international David Beckham range will feature a dragon design element that was inspired by Modern Asia. David wore his new Dragon Predator Pulse for the first time in England’s friendly game against Colombia a few days ago.
Beckham said, “I always enjoy being in New York and launching the Adidas dragon range here is going to be a great experience. The boots feel great and I think they look absolutely amazing.”
The Chinese Dragon symbolises power, excellence and vitality. A dragon overcomes obstacles until success is his. It is energetic, decisive, optimistic, intelligent and ambitious. Adidas unleashes football boot ‘Predator’
MUMBAI: Adidas has launched its latest offering in the football boot range, Predator. Sleek lines and claw like spikes are the main features of this new offering.
Predator was launched on 7 November at the Spanish Football Federation Centre in Madrid with a live demonstration participated by various soccer stars including David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Raul, Kaká and Patrick Vieira.
This was followed by a exhibition match played between two teams headed by Zinedine Zidane & David Beckham.
Adidas expects the new product to make it big during the upcoming Football World Cup scheduled for 2006 June.
