MN+ to honour Brad Pitt’s work on ‘Walk of Fame’

MUMBAI: Times Network’s HD English movie channel MN+ is all geared up to air movies starring Brad Pitt in its official weekend property ‘Walk of Fame.’ The next new edition will start from 6 February and air every Saturday at 9 pm.

The movies that are lined up on the channel are: Fury, Fight Club, Seven and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Fury, the American-British war film in which Pitt is seen playing the role of Don Wardaddy Collier along with a five-man crew, embarks on a mission that puts their lives in danger as they attack the Nazi army. The film got the actor a nomination in Broadcast Film Critics Association Awards.

The other American film Fight Club is about an office worker who is tired of his dull existence and his new friend helps him discover an exciting and dangerous sense of purpose. The movie is based on a novel with the same name.

Seven, a psychological thriller, rotates around a serial killer who begins murdering people according to the seven deadly sins and two detectives tasked to apprehend the criminal.

AXN is official TV partner for Comic Con India 2015

MUMBAI: English entertainment channel AXN has collaborated with a comic based convention Comic Con India for its Delhi and Mumbai edition of 2015.

The channel is the exclusive television partner for the Delhi Comic Con from 4 to 6 December 2015 whereas the Mumbai Film and Comic Con will be held from 19 to 20 December at Bombay Exhibition Centre.

The channel has arranged a dedicated zone to uniquely engage with the fans and visitors of Comic Con India both in Delhi and Mumbai. It has also created an experiential photo booth called the AXN Wall of Hunks wherein viewers can click pictures with their favourite characters. Onlookers can participate in the customised character interaction opportunity and win exclusive AXN goodies. The event will also see the widely loved characters at the zone.

AXN will also host two special experiential activities at the AXN zone with Ray Donovan and Hannibal. The Donovan’s Fight Club will have fans punching their way through a challenge that will get them beat the power of Ray Donovan’s fists and be eligible to win exclusive Ray Donovan merchandise.

The second innovative activation will have fans literally put their head on a platter at Hannibal’s very own dining table and get clicked.

The channel will organise an exclusive AXN session on the main stage, wherein it will showcase the most iconic scenes of its key shows, followed by a quiz for the audience. AXN will also give a peek into the line-up of upcoming shows.

Zee Cinema presents ‘Mazedar November’

MUMBAI: Zee Cinema is all set to launch Mazedar November. It will present viewers with a host of movie titles like Pyaare Mohan, Garam Masala, Fight Club and Sholay.

Mazedar November will premiere with Pyare Mohan on Saturday 26 November at 12:30 pm.

Announcing the launch of Mazedar November business head Zee Cinema Bharat Ranga said, “Zee Cinema consistently showcases something new every month for our viewers.The Mazedar November concept has been planned with the thought of reaching out to our viewers in an unconventional way, essentially to confer value to the viewers through airing premium movies, fun and prizes from the interactive contests.”

Along with airing the movie titles, Zee Cinema is also running a contest, “Khelo Cinema”, where viewers will get a chance to win prizes like Akai Surround Systems, Videocon Microwaves and Orson VCD players, asserts an official release.

The format of the contest will include a set of questions to be answered through SMS and one winner will be announced everyday. At the end of the contest one of the viewers stands to win a Grand Prize, adds the release.

The contest questions will be shown on the television screen during the following movies:

ETC ‘Bada Parda’ brings peep into the premier of ‘Fight Club’ with Cinemax

Mumbai, 17th February 2006: ETC and Cinemax are hosting the star-studded Red Carpet Premiere of the much awaited multistarrer ‘Fight Club’ ’. It is an event that left everybody asking for more because star line up is huge and impressive.
