    MUMBAI: Who says chills only come from the big screen? This Halloween, Cinépolis India and Fanta are serving up a frightfully fun experience that’s equal parts spooky and sippable.

    From 24 October to 6 November, moviegoers can enjoy a halloween combo featuring nachos and unlimited Fanta refills, all wrapped up in specially designed, Halloween-themed cups. The offer, aptly themed “Sip the spook. snack the fun”, brings a playful fizz to the season of frights.

    MUMBAI: Fanta, Coca-Cola India’s iconic orange-flavoured fizz, has taken a big, bubbly lead in the carbonated soft drink (CSD) category, commanding over 50 per cent of the market. The brand’s playful spirit and tangy taste have made it a go-to thirst-quencher for young Indians, seamlessly mixing nostalgia with a digital twist.

    First sipped in 1940, Fanta has evolved into a cultural phenomenon across 180 markets worldwide, but it’s India where the brand has really popped. From Rs 10 for a 200ml pack to 2.25L family-sized bottles, Fanta is everywhere—across two million retail outlets nationwide.

    Mumbai: FMCG firms beginning with Hindustan Lever Ltd dominated the top-10 advertiser list in week 46 (13 to 19 November) according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. Recorded ad volumes for the company stood at 4486.09 (‘000s). Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd was second at 3462.72 (‘000s).

    Ponds India which usually languished at one of the last five spots was at number three in week 46. Entering into the winter season, the beauty and personal care firm stepped up the game to deliver ad volumes of 1020.95 (‘000s).

    Cadbury’s India Ltd, Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, Procter & Gamble, Coca Cola India Ltd, and Lakme Lever Ltd followed, in that order.

    Other than Horlicks at the top spot (397.9), the brands list looked very different with Veet Men Hair Removal Cream, Lizol, Ultratech Cement, and Fanta (new entrant) at the second to fifth positions. Ultratech Cement debuted last week at number eight.

    Long-time leader Dettol Toilet Sopas slipped to the sixth slot, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid was eighth, and Dettol Foaming Handwash at tenth. At number seven and nine were Harpic Power Plus 10X Max Clean and Clinic Plus Shampoo, respectively.

    Mumbai: With ad volumes of 4600.63 Hindustan Lever Ltd (HUL) was the top advertiser in week 43 (23 – 29 October) according to Broadcast Audience Research Council (Barc) data. Reckitt Benckiser (India) Ltd (3121.31) and Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (900.75) were in the second and third positions, respectively.

    They were followed by Ponds India, Brooke Bond Lipton India Ltd, ITC Ltd, Cadbury’s India Ltd, Amazon Online India Pvt Ltd, Coca-Cola India Ltd, and Colgate Palmolive India Ltd.

    Among the brands, HUL’s Horlicks was the top performer delivering ad volumes of 473.75 (‘000s). Dettol Toilet Soaps, Lalithaa Jewellery, and Veet Men Hair Removal Cream grabbed the next three slots.

    Fanta was the new entrant at the number five. It was followed by Harpic Bathroom Cleaner, Amazon Prime Video, and Clinic Plus Shampoo.

    Debuting at number nine, was Tata’s new SUV Tata Punch. Dettol Antiseptic Liquid finished last.

    MUMBAI: Taking forward its vision to become a ‘Total Beverage Company with strong local roots’, Coca-Cola India announced West Bengal as its key growth market and unveiled strategic plans to showcase commitment to the state. West Bengal is the first Indian state where the entire portfolio and marketing initiatives of Coca-Cola’s brands have been hyper-localized to resonate with local language and suit consumer preferences. The initiative begins with West Bengal and would extend nationally with local execution in other states. The company also announced its partnership with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to turn up the excitement of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for fans in Bengal.

    Coca-Cola India is deeply intertwined with the vibrancy of West Bengal through its relationship with music, sports, food, festival and culture. Consumers in West Bengal have a special love for Coca-Cola beverages, making it a priority market for the company. The initiative has been developed in line with local affinity and preferences of consumers in West Bengal and their strong emotional connect with their culture.

    Speaking at the launch of the initiative,  Coca-Cola India and South West Asia President T Krishnakumar said, “West Bengal is a vital part of our India story, and we will continue to build for the state by customizing our brand and product propositions with an improved understanding of the local consumers’ consumption patterns and desires. West Bengal has and always will remain close to our hearts and with this initiative, we aim to showcase our gratitude by celebrating the unique, diverse culture of Bengal with our differentiated offerings and continued investment. We are initiating this as a pilot in West Bengal and plan to extend this nationally with local execution in other states”

    To kickstart the initiative, Coca-Cola has rolled out Bengali packaging labels for all beverages across its portfolio, which includes Coke, Sprite, Thums Up, Maaza, Fanta, Limca, Kinley, and Minute Maid. Each brand will devise a hyperlocal campaign to deepen connect and bring on-ground experience alive for consumers in Bengal.

The pride for Bengali language is ubiquitous across West Bengal and Coca-Cola fueled the excitement by rekindling the love for storytelling during International Mother Language Day. Consumers were invited to participate in the contest by sharing their love for the language through short poems, tiny tales, and haikus. The winning entries were shared on Coca-Cola’s social media handles and also featured on Radio Mirchi by RJ Somak. Brand Coca-Cola will be the official beverage partner with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to turn up the excitement of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for fans in Bengal. A host of activities are planned both in stadium, as well as across the state to engage consumers and create unique experiences.

The new beverage contains real orange juice that will tingle taste buds with the Fanta fizz that consumers have loved for years. Bubbly and energetic actor Sara Ali Khan has been chosen as the brand ambassador to deepen it’s connect with the millennials.

    Commenting on the launch of the new beverage, Shrenik Dasani, Vice President – Sparkling Category, Coca-Cola India said,“Fanta has always been known for its fruity taste, tingling bubbles and its ability to create moments of pure fun. With this new launch, we are adding the taste of real orange juice into the mix, for an even more fruity, even more fun experience for our consumers. But we are not stopping there!     Fanta Juicy+ contains orange juice sourced from local fruit farmers in India. With launch of this new variant, Coca-Cola India is broadening its portfolio by introducing sparkling beverages blended with fruit juice. As part of its ‘Fruit Circular Economy' initiative, the company is developing the juice category, adding fruit juice to the sparkling products and introducing newer products in the beverage space.

    MUMBAI: Snack time will never be the same again as India’s favorite orangey soft drink, Fanta, brings a playful proposition to snack times everywhere! In its latest communication campaign – “Snack-time Fanta-Time”, the brand adds a zing factor to snack time with “orangey Fanta time”, showing a group of youngsters enjoying a snack together with a bottle of the “orangey” drink. For the first time ever, the playful Fanta animation, characteristic of the brand’s advertising, has been produced in India with the introduction of a new Indian Fanta Character, the ‘Mom’.

     

    Speaking on the launch of the campaign, Debabrata Mukherjee, VP – Marketing & Commercial at Coca-Cola India & SWA, said, “Snack times are moments full of play and fun energy that represent brand Fanta. Our global body of work on Fanta ‘Play’ has been appreciated world over and this year; we have taken the core proposition further by building in local consumer insights set in the Indian context. When you think of brand Fanta, the first thing that comes to mind is its great ‘Orange’ taste and with this campaign we are adding a little more fun and play to snack times with the invigorating Fanta spirit.”

     

    This year, the brand focuses on the fact that Fanta is the top most preferred and enjoyable beverage with snacks. The campaign brings alive the strong tingly craving that the consumers have for the orangey, bubbly taste of Fanta along with their special snack time of the day. The new campaign will reach out to the consumers through an array of touch points including television ads, outdoor, radio, activation and social media.

     

    The new campaign has been conceptualized by Ogilvy & Mather led by Ajay Gahlot, Executive Creative Director; Shailendar Mahajan, Senior Creative Director and Riazat Khan, Creative Director and produced by Nomad Films (For Animation). The lyrics have been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and music composed by Vijay Antony. With its upbeat and playful tempo, the jingle has been rendered into seven languages including Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Punjabi, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati

    The visual story brings out how the taste of Fanta fuels the energy levels and brings in the element fun and play. The 3D animated film features the exuberant, bubbly characters sitting on dining table and looking bored. In comes, an Indian “Fanta Mom” character, and she opens a bottle of Fanta.  Suddenly the moment is transformed into a more playful zone. The mother herself initiates “Play” in her children’s lives by tossing a “murukku/chakli” across like a flying saucer. After that the commercial goes into a playful space with the Fanta animation characters (popularly known as the Fanta ‘Crew’) making each other giggle with playful goofiness. The commercial ends with everyone drinking Fanta at a much more playful and bonded table.

    Speaking about the campaign Ajay Gahlaut – Executive Creative Director, Ogilvy & Mather said, “Fanta is a brand that offers a lot of creative fulfillment. This time around, it was even more exciting. We got an opportunity to produce a TV commercial with the famous Fanta characters to suit Indian sensibilities. Overall, it was an amazing experience and a pleasure to produce the new Fanta ad. The creative manifestation is in perfect sync with the brand idea. Vijay Antony, known for the popular song Nakka Mukka, has composed the music for the Tamil as well the Hindi jingle. It is energetic & peppy like all the previous Fanta jingles. It will surely gain popularity”.

    MUMBAI: Fruit-flavored carbonated soft drink from the Coca-Cola Company, Fanta, has unveiled its new campaign, ‘Taste that makes you jump‘.

    The campaign has been conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather.

    Taking its ‘Zyada Fanta, Zyada Masti‘ campaign to the next level, the new 360-degree initiative christened, ‘Taste that makes you jump‘ is in line with the core brand image of Fanta – reminding consumers about its “great orangey, bubbly taste”.

    The new campaign will reach out to youth through television ads, outdoor, radio, activation and social media.

    Coca-Cola India and South West Asia VP-marketing Anupama Ahluwalia said, “Brand Fanta is known for its distinct playful imagery and its great ‘Orange‘ taste. Through the latest integrated marketing campaign, Fanta aims at inviting everyone to increase ‘Play‘ in their life. The communication also reminds the consumers to enjoy the magic of its delicious taste. Fanta has a unique place in the minds of consumers and through the launch of this campaign, we aim to further strengthen this connect.”

    As a part of on-ground activation, Fanta will also engage with consumers at select locations in 42 cities across 10 States (Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Assam, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar). Fanta will be extending its new brand thought through a special experiential sampling initiative. As part of this initiative, consumers will get a taste of Fanta experience through interactive games.
