    Mumbai: Equitas Small Finance Bank unveils the inspiring journey of Virumandi, a beacon of determination and resilience under the ‘Circle of Life’ campaign. The video exemplifies his spirit of unwavering dedication and the belief that ‘work is worship’, while showcasing his life’s transcending challenges.

    Starting as a mechanic in Madurai, his aspirations were met with setbacks when he struggled to meet the financial obligations of a loan obtained from a traditional financial institution, ultimately losing his cherished vehicle. Undeterred by adversity, he embraced the ethos of hard work as his guiding principle, determined to provide for his family in the face of adversity. As his unwavering efforts came to light, Equitas Small Finance Bank joined his journey to resolve the hardships as a partner in financial support as well as overall prosperity.

    Mumbai: Equitas Small Finance Bank has roped in women hockey player Rani Rampal and cricketer Smriti Mandhana as its brand ambassadors. This announcement comes at a time when the bank is celebrating its fifth anniversary on 5 September.

    As an entity empowering women across the length and breadth of the country, through its various banking and non-banking initiatives, the announcement reflects the bank’s ethos of adding value to the lives of countless customers by choosing the right representation to inspire women to chase their dreams, said the statement.

    The bank aims to provide a platform to inspire and support Indians to take a step towards following their dreams and aspirations, through its banking as well as non-banking initiatives, it added.

    Rampal holds the record for being the youngest player in the national hockey team, representing India at the age of 15 at the 2010 World Cup.

    Recognised as the ‘Best Women’s International Cricketer’ by the board of control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2018, Mandhana’s extraordinary cricketing skills have grabbed everyone’s attention. Capable of achieving new highs each time they enter the field, both these women with countless others have demonstrated the meteoric rise of women in sports in India.

    IPL 2021: Equitas Small Finance Bank renews partnership with CSK

    MUMBAI: Micro-finance lender Equitas Small Finance Bank has renewed its partnership with Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2021. It will be the official retail banking partner for the MS Dhoni-led team. 

    Along with the logo positioning at the back of the helmet and cap sported by CSK players, Equitas is also going to launch a new campaign titled ‘The bank behind every champion’ to drive its visibility.

    With this new campaign, the company aims to communicate that Equitas has been transforming the lives of individuals through its lending and social responsibilities over time with the support and funds of people who are banking with them. Equitas Small Finance Bank has been previously associated with the three-time IPL champions from season 2018-2020.

    Through this association, the bank hopes to highlight some of the key benefits of banking with them which includes up to seven per cent interest on savings, contactless video KYC service, no maintenance charges on savings accounts, free online fund transfer and reward points on all debit card spends thereby transforming lives of customers with the aim to build stronger communities.
