    Mumbai: NDTV has elevated Parimal Dutta as senior vice president. He has been associated with the company for over 11 years. He leads the brand solutions team at the news broadcaster.

    During his career spanning 23 years, Dutta has been associated with The Times of India, Star India, CNBC and Bloomberg before joining NDTV in 2011.

    He has delivered demonstrated results in digital and broadcast media and is skilled in sales, negotiation, integrated marketing, advertising, channel sales and strategic planning.

    Dutta is an alumnus of Delhi University.

    Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises (Zeel) has elevated Adil Memon as executive vice president of content and marketing. He updated his new role on LinkedIn.

    Memon has been associated with the company for over 14 years. He was previously vice president of content and marketing and led the content and marketing verticals in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and creating new IPs in content and marketing. Memon pioneered localising Indian drama formats in the MENA region through co-production as Arabic originals.

    He has expertise across media such as TV, print and digital.

    Mumbai: Zee Entertainment Enterprises (Zeel) has elevated Kaushik Misra as head of non-fiction at Zee TV, the company’s Hindi general entertainment channel.

    Misra has been associated with Zeel for over 12 years. Earlier, he was director of programming – non-fiction for Zee TV. He has expertise in public relations, brand management, digital marketing and content development.

    Misra has played a key role in building iconic properties such as Dance India Dance and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He has also been a part of Zee TV’s refresh campaign ‘Aaj Likhenge Kal’.

    He is an alumnus of St. Xavier’s College and completed his MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication, Pune.

    Mumbai: Shemaroo Entertainment has elevated Vijay Bhanushali as deputy vice president – animation, kids, digital, licensing and merchandising. He has been associated with the company for over 14 years.  

    Bhanushali has two decades of experience and handles key areas such as digital media, international co-productions, global acquisition and sales, production, licensing and merchandising at Shemaroo Entertainment. His expertise lies in syndication of children’s television features and new media content.

    During his career, he has had stints at Tiger Production and ICE Logics Entertainment. He has also been a faculty at Zee Institute of Media Arts and Digital Academy where he taught film editing.

    Mumbai: IN10 Media Network has elevated Samar Khan as the CEO of its production house, Juggernaut Productions. Khan will continue to report to the network’s managing director Aditya Pittie.  

    Khan has been associated with the production house’s OTT division since 2019 and has played a vital role in steering it. As CEO, he will continue to manage his responsibilities of designing and successfully implementing business strategies in addition to creating world-class content.

    “Samar is a valuable asset and I congratulate him on his well-deserved promotion. The upcoming shows are Code M season 2 and Avrodh season 2. He has also produced Regiment Diaries seasons 1, 2, and 3 for the network’s flagship channel EPIC.

    In 2016, he wrote a book ‘SRK – 25 years of a Life’ capturing the 25-years-long journey of the actor Shah Rukh Khan.

    Mumbai: Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd on Wednesday announced the promotion of Amit Haria as the chief financial officer (CFO). Prior to this, he was the vice president-accounts and finance and a key member of the executive leadership team at Shemaroo.

    In his new role, Amit will be leading the financial and business affairs of the company.

    Haria has been associated with Shemaroo for almost 15 years. He was instrumental in steering the company’s Initial Public Offer (IPO) successfully in 2014. His expertise in financial management and strategic planning has ensured smooth functioning of all systems with compliance being taken care diligently.

He holds a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Some of his core competencies include raising finance, strategic/financial planning, management of offshore subsidiaries, problem resolution, cash flow management, and liaising with banks, amongst others.

    Mumbai: 9X Media has announced the elevation of Deepali Oroskar and Nihal Ghosh to senior vice president of ad sales. They both will report to 9X Media chief business officer Punit Pandey.

    Nihal will be in-charge of revenues for 9XM and 9X Jalwa and Deepali will lead the ad sales teams for 9X Tashan and 9X Jhakaas. Deepali and Nihal are both senior ad sales professionals with each of them having over 15 years of experience.

    “Deepali and Nihal have both been with the organisation for over a decade and have consistently proven their mettle,” said 9X Media chief business officer Punit Pandey. “They have led the ad sales teams to achieve better revenue targets and have performed extremely well.     George Kovoor named as SVP- beverages at PepsiCo India

    Mumbai: PepsiCo India has announced the promotion of George Kovoor as senior vice president (SVP) – beverages.

    He is a PepsiCo veteran, having completed 28 years with the company, in various operating roles across India, APAC, and China and most recently as SVP international, at PepsiCo’s global HQ in New York.  

    “Kovoor will be the GM for the beverage business and will also be responsible for creating the long-term sustainability strategy for both the foods and beverage categories,” said the company in a statement.

    Kovoor is known for his hands-on understanding of the business and commitment to developing talent and forging strong stakeholder partnerships. He will be relocating back to India after 18 years.
