    NEW DELHI:  OkCredit – ‘Digital India ka Digital Bahi Khata’, has partnered with Delhi Capitals (DC) as their principal sponsor for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL), starting on 19 September 2020 in UAE. During the tournament, OkCredit will be known as the ‘Official Digital Credit Ledger’ of Delhi Capitals.

    Through this association, it will endeavour to leverage its journey of digitising the micro and small business landscape in India amongst the huge fan base of the team and tournament.

    It is also supporting Delhi Capitals in getting ‘Vocal for Local’ by empowering various small and iconic retail businesses across the city with their simple to use digital solutions.     BKT tyres to sponsor six IPL teams

    NEW DELHI- Indian multinational group Balkrishna Industries Ltd (BKT Tyres) will sponsor six Indian Premier League teams, including reigning champions Mumbai Indians, in the upcoming edition of the tournament, starting September 19 in the UAE.

    Apart from Mumbai Indians, BKT will sponsor Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Rajasthan Royals.

    The company has already been promoting cricket by supporting Australia's T20 tournament, the Big Bash League.

    “Cricket is a very popular sport in India. Everyone loves the game, and we at BKT are unstoppable when it is about sport. We are pleased and excited to be a part of an event that is much followed in our home country. We are a keen supporter of several national sports all around the globe, but it fills me with immense pleasure that we are now supporting such a significant sporting event of India,” said BKT JMD Rajiv Poddar. 

    The company has been partnering for various sporting events in India including eight out of 12 teams of Pro Kabaddi LIKE Patna Pirates, Puneri Paltan, Tamil Thalaivas, U Mumba, Gujarat Fortune Giants U.P Yoddha, Dabang Delhi, and Haryana Steelers Kabaddi in the 2019 season.

    JSW Group replaces Daikin to become Delhi Capitals’ Principal Sponsor for IPL 2020

    NEW DELHI: Indian Premier League franchise Delhi Capitals has announced JSW Group as its principal sponsor, which is the 50 per cent owner of the Delhi franchise, for the upcoming season which is going to be held in UAE between September and November 2020.

    JSW Group replaces Daikin Air-Conditioning who had been the Delhi franchise’s Principal Sponsors since 2015. 

    Delhi Capitals Chairman and co-owner Parth Jindal, who oversees the JSW group’s paints and cement business and is also part of the steel operations has agreed to be the new principal sponsor for the franchise.

    Jindal said, “We at the JSW Group see this as a tremendous opportunity to step in as Principal Sponsor for the Delhi Capitals. At the JSW Group we are rapidly growing and building each of our businesses to be the best in India and the world, whether it is our flagship Steel business or our other ventures in Energy, Infrastructure, Cement and most recently Paints. The fact that JSW is rapidly increasing its consumer facing businesses across steel, cement and paints also calls for the JSW brand to be more visible and there are few properties that garner the viewership of the IPL. 

    Speaking about his expectations on the team’s performance during the new season, he added, “The upcoming edition of the IPL will be different for more reasons than one. I have full faith in our team’s players and coaching staff to better the results of the previous year. I wish them all the very best as they prepare to depart for UAE.”

    APL Apollo launches TVC with Delhi Capitals players

    MUMBAI: APL Apollo, the maker of steel tubes and the principal sponsor of the IPL team – Delhi Capitals, has launched a 360-degree campaign with a powerful idea called “The Inner Strength Of India”.

    Conceptualised by Crayons Communications, the TVC stars key players from the Delhi Capitals team.

    The Crayons Network president Ranjan Bargotra said, “It feels great to work with a client who loves to take bold, confident steps to build one’s brand. This is just the beginning, there’s a lot more in the pipeline which will take the brand to the next level.”

    Crayons Communications ECD Rondeep Gogoi said, “This shoot was like an IPL match. We had just five hours with the players at their hotel ballroom. It was complete madness, but we managed to hit it for a 6.”

    The ad has been directed by Aiman from Asylum films and the rap is by Kaam Bhaari of Gully Boy fame.
