Tanishq presents blessed gold – #DuaKaSona

MUMBAI: Tanishq, India’s trusted jewellery brand, has launched an interesting campaign which essentially highlights the #GoodnessOfTanishq and communicates the message that when you choose Tanishq, you choose gold that is enveloped with the blessings of every life it has touched.

Conceptualised by WYP Brand Solutions, the campaign comprises of a series of videos which beautifully portrays emotions and couples it with rationality, thus bringing alive the concept of ‘blessed Gold’ or ‘Dua Ka Sona.’

The campaign brings to light the ethical, responsible and sustainable business practices employed by the brand since its inception. Just like its parent company Tata, Tanishq has always been associated with goodness. The brand has taken sincere and proactive steps to uplift and support the lives of its Karigars, to build an environment-friendly system and in the end give back to the society. Tanishq walks the complete mile for ensuring healthy and dignified working conditions for the karigars. The brand also runs several initiatives for empowering women, for instance enabling the first ever all –women’s self-help karigar group, providing skilling and livelihood opportunities to women and supporting the education of girl children through the Titan Kanya initiative. Tanishq also works towards creating a more sustainable future by using recycled gold, recycling water and using renewable energy at all manufacturing units. These very blessings from the karigars, the numerous women who have benefitted from the initiatives and from the environment as a whole is what makes it ‘DuaKaSona.’

The campaign has three films which is also available in 7 vernacular languages ensuring a great connect with the consumers. In the signature Tanishq style, the videos beautifully highlight the sentiments in the context of a wedding, the naming ceremony of a baby girl and that of a young girl gifting jewellery to her mother.

Speaking about the film, Titan Company associate vice president – marketing, jewellery division Deepika Tewari said, “The campaign ‘Dua Ka Sona’ is an attempt to highlight Tanishq’s relentless commitment to various entities– environment, karigars, women and girl child. Being in Indian market for over two decades and serving millions of customers, through this campaign we wanted to bring alive the blessings and love that is reflected in our jewellery by all the beautiful hands it touches. For us, making these ‘Goodness of Tanishq’ films and working on delivering the thought behind them has been an emotional journey and we are confident these videos create a sense of responsiveness to society as a whole.”

WYP Brand Solutions MD & CCO Amit Akali explains, "It’s an honour to create communication for an iconic brand, which has a deeper purpose to exist. Tanishq has not just been crafting jewellery but building the lives of Karigars, communities, future of destitute women, school and, a sustainable future too. So when we got the opportunity to bring alive everything this brand does, we went about it the classical way – actually visiting the factories and townships, speaking to the Karigars, employees, the school-going children of their workers, meeting & listening to the women they had empowered through their NGO's, witnessing their initiatives implemented for recycling water and using renewable energy, trying to understand the magnitude of what the brand did other than just make jewellery. We then realised what the brand meant when they said every piece of jewellery was 'Truly Blessed'…and the creative wrote themselves.”

Tanishq celebrates the inner radiance of women through Ahalya collection

MUMBAI: Tanishq has launched a new campaign this season, highlighting how beautiful and ethereal a woman’s intrinsic radiance is. Ahalya by Tanishq is a catalyst in excavating this brightness and making her the spotlight. Tej is the powerful meeting point of a ‘woman’s biggest strength’ and when she embraces it with the most powerful element in the world – a Diamond; her beauty and elegance heightens transforming her from simple grace to utmost elegance and effortless glamour. For it is when she adorns a piece from this collection, that the world sees the woman within- A woman of exemplary taste and unmatched grace.

We hope women enjoy experiencing this collection as much as we enjoyed bringing it to them.”

  • Modern brand marketing methods not just digital-exclusive

Modern brand marketing methods not just digital-exclusive

MUMBAI: The use of the internet and other digital media and technology to support 'modern marketing’ has given rise to the concept of digital marketing, and we at Tanishq believe that the focus has always been on building a 360-degree marketing plan, with seamless integration of products, services and communication. We try to not look at traditional and digital as two separate entities. Although digital ad spends have shown a considerable increase in comparison to traditional media, the base however, continues to be relatively smaller. Regardless, we have intensified the number of digital assets and we are also leveraging new-age tools at disposal like geo-targeting, virtual reality, online-to-offline attribution modelling etc., basically all tools that help us ensure maximum accessibility of the brand, for the consumers.

Most categories and brands are focusing on a multichannel media approach and that has reflected a lot in the festive season as well. With regards to the ad spend share for FMCG brands, we have noticed a reduction in their focus from traditional mediums like TV and seen them re-direct their path to the digital front with customised campaigns across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and other social channels.

With the upcoming concept of omni-channel marketing, a smart digital strategy becomes all the more critical. No more can we focus only on one medium, especially if buyers themselves are branching out through new arenas. A diversification in mediums is essential when it comes to communicating our brand messaging.

Brands today are evolving with its consumers, and are looking towards transforming mass online marketing to one-to-one interactions to engage with the consumer. As a result of this, we are already on our way to developing a big-data driven approach to create moments of delight for our consumer through an intelligent recommendation system, not to mention taking the in-store experience online through AR/VR tools. Basically we want to be present with the customer, when the “intent rich” digital discovery moment occurs.

This film is a depiction of the strict monitoring procedures that Tanishq follows to make their solitaire product shine the brightest.

We at Tanishq have eight stringent parameters that we follow to ensure all our diamonds are immaculate.”

  • Tanishq celebrates love in latest ad as #LoveRemains

Tanishq celebrates love in latest ad as #LoveRemains

MUMBAI: The best occasion to talk about love is Valentine’s Day. Like every year, even this year, love will be celebrated once again with candies, marshmallows, soft toys, heart emojis, etc. But most often the true meaning of love is lost in this distraction. Jewellery brand Tanishq decided to do something touching.

The film conceptualised by Lowe Lintas and directed by Gauri Shinde helps to give Valentine’s Day a whole new meaning. The film brings on camera, real people who had a relationship in the past to talk about their belief in love. A series of candid conversations made by corporate executives, artists, actors like Sandhya Mridul and Manav Kaul, hark back to their relationships and cherish what remains – love.

As a brand that celebrates relationships, Tanishq, over the years, has always presented a very mature and progressive point of view on the subject of love. Be it the #Remarriage film, or the wedding film where the grandmother is joyfully mocking her granddaughter for not doing an intercaste marriage, the communication has always tried to break social stereotypes and portray more grown-up outlooks in communication.

Tanishq AVP of marketing Deepika Tewari says, “In this new film we captured seven real love stories. In the journey of life, these people fell in love and each of their relationship has left behind something that they will cherish forever. These stories pull a heart string and evokes a strong sense of emotion and are very relevant and relatable especially today. Because whatever happens in the journey of life we would like people to keep celebrating love.”

Lowe Lintas chairman and CCO Arun Iyer remarks adds, “On Valentine’s Day, everyone celebrates the beauty of love. But what about the difficult bits? It’s the ones who have seen this other side of love, that truly know what its like to be in it. We thought that Tanishq, a brand that has always shown the mature side of relationships; should not just celebrate the good parts of love, but also the sacrifices and hardships that make it stronger. It was a very difficult film to execute as everyone in the video is a friend or a friend of a friend, who is pouring his or her heart out on camera.”

Maxus Bangalore devises campaign for Tanishq with Maa TV

MUMBAI: Tanishq has joined hands with Maxus to capture the Southern market as the must-have jewellery brand for weddings through the agency’s innovative campaign. Tanishq has been integrated with Maa TV.

“Tanishq has an extensive range of regional wedding jewellery for all different communities – a little known fact and essential to communicate. The brand TVC does try to address this, but only that much can be said in a single TVC. The Maxus content team created a win–win association with Maa TV’s editorial team and created a coup of sorts – getting the channel’s most popular faces to create a stunning showcase of the Telegu brides’ must have Telegu jewellery pieces, assuring Andhra/Telengana women that they will get the most spectacular regional range at Tanishq. The Maa protagonist giving their assurance adds immediate believability and trust, something that would otherwise take long to create,” said Maxus India South head Sanchayeeta Verma.

Speaking about the initiative, Titan jewellery division general manager – marketing Deepika Tewari added, “We are delighted to be a part of this one-of-a kind initiative by Maxus in collaboration with Maa TV. Over the years, we have built a very strong bond with the Telegu community and look forward to growing our relationship by continuing to offer best-in-class jewellery. The Telegu wedding collection by Tanishq brings to life the ancient traditions of the Telegu community in true Tanishq form. We understand the importance of jewellery pieces like Vaddanam and Vanki for a Telegu bride, and are proud to showcase our wedding collection spread across traditional gold ornaments to deck the bride in her finest.”

The campaign featured various soap actors who are big decision influencers in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana market. Furthermore Maxus Bangalore also co-created integrated branded content with the Maa TV.

As a part of the integrated brand campaign Maxus ESP along with Maa TV selected the three most popular faces of the channel namely Jyoti (Ashta Chamma), Sirisha (Kanchana Ganga) and Meghna (Sasirekha Parinayam) to create a vignette. Maxus was involved in the entire creative process of casting, scripting and production of the vignette. The vignette will be promoted by Tanishq exclusively on the digital platform.

  • This Women’s Day, #SnapOutofIt with Tanishq

This Women’s Day, #SnapOutofIt with Tanishq

MUMBAI: Today, women are increasingly walking the tightrope between home and career, handling everything from household chores to boardroom meetings with consummate ease. No wonder, they’re left with little or no time to themselves, which is why, ahead of Women’s Day on 8 March, Tanishq, Tata Group’s jewellery brand, has decided to play Santa and gift these superwomen some much-needed ‘me time’.

Mia, Tanishq’s contemporary line of work-wear jewellery, has launched a digital campaign called #SnapOutofIt, which, as the name suggests, offers women an opportunity to break free from their punishing everyday routine while allowing them to explore their creative side.

“In the light of long working hours, deadlines, meetings and commitments at home, taking time off for themselves is a luxury which isn’t enjoyed by most working women today. Keeping this in mind, the #SnapOutOfIt campaign calls for creative and fun entries from working women, who have one opportunity to convince the brand why they deserve a chance to snap out of their everyday hassles and routine they have to follow,” says Titan Company jewellery division GM marketing Deepika Tewari.

The campaign is active on its own official website, facebook, twitter and YouTube and has been conceptualised by digital agency, Interactive Avenue.

So far, it has recorded over 150 entries from women across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Some of the entries read: #SnapOutOflt to get rid of my moody boss n foody hubby, bored of tight deadlines and right timelines, fed up of extra tensions at both home and office so forget actually who I am and my mom-in-law asks me to dress up every day like actresses from saas-bahu TV soaps, among others.

Earlier campaigns around Women’s Day like ‘I Am Not You’ and ‘I Am Courage’ celebrated women power while #SnapOutOflt has a fun element attached to it. “This year, Mia wants women to celebrate their day with fun. With #SnapOutOfIt, Mia – as a mark of respect to the numerous roles a woman takes on – is looking to make this day super-special and fun with activities like para-motoring in Delhi, a vineyard tour in Bangalore, and yacht hunting in Mumbai on 8 March,” says Tewari.

“This year’s approach to Women’s Day is very different. The winning entries will have to be witty, funny, and most convincing. In keeping with the brand’s personality of light-weight daily work-wear jewellery, Mia wants participants to really have fun with their submissions.”

Mia by Tanishq takes pride in being an extension of a woman’s personality. “Mia by Tanishq has been at the forefront when it comes to celebrating women. This contemporary line was launched in 2011 for women on the go, who are engaged in various professions and have a well-established ensemble of accessories, unfortunately, excluding jewellery. Mia as a brand has always regaled women with interesting designs, concepts and campaigns like ‘My Expression’, ‘Love Appraisal’ and so on. With us, it is Women’s Day every day,” Tewari signs off.
