    Louella Rebello to join DDB Mudra as ECD

    MUMBAI: Ogilvy India’s Louella Rebello, who is serving her notice period at the agency, will be joining DDB Mudra as executive creative director, Mumbai in February.

    Rebello, senior creative director at O&M has recently put in her papers at the creative agency after serving for over eight years. She had joined O&M in 2003 as creative supervisor to associate creative director and was subsequently promoted to her current role in April 2011.

    DDB Mudra sources have confirmed the development to Indiantelevision.com.

    Prior to O&M, Rebello has worked with Pressman Advertising and Marketing, Triton Communications and Bates India.

    Everest annexes creative duties of Ranbaxy’s Volini brand

    MUMBAI: Everest has lapped up the creative duties of Ranbaxy Laboratories’ Volini portfolio.


    The other seven agencies that participated in the pitch include DDB Mudra, Law & Kenneth and Saatchi & Saatchi.


    Ranbaxy Laboratories Global Consumer Healthcare vice president Brijesh Kapil said, “Volini is the fastest growing OTC star brand expanding through extensions and is today a role model on how Rx to OTC switch should be done. On account of the expanding work, it was mandated that a fresh look at brand strategy be done to do justice to all the extensions planned for the category.”


    Talking of the reasons that went into selecting Everest, Kapil said, “Amongst the pitching agencies, we chose Everest because it performed the best and could really deliver on leveraging Volini’s legacy and positioning to an appropriate differentiating extension.”

    Arnab Banerjee joins Everest as Head of Creative-Art for Delhi

    MUMBAI:Arnab Banerjee, who was earlier the creative consultant with August Communications for a year, has joined Everest Brand Solutionsb as Head of Creative – Art, for its Delhi office.


    Banerjee will be reporting to Everest Brand Solutions national
    creative director Rahul Jauhari.


    Confirming the same, Everest President Dhunji S. Wadia said, “We welcome Arnab back to the group. I am sure we have the right creative leader in him.”


    Banerjee’s experience in handling media and publication clients includes working for The Statesman in Kolkata and the India Today Group in Delhi. He has handled multinational clients such as Wrigley Orbit and Boomer, Philips, MasterCard, Hutch, (Vodafone) and national brands like Airtel, ITC, ONGC, among others.


    Banerjee has been in mainstream advertising for over 11 years with stints at Ogilvy, Euro RSCG, Rediffusion DY&R, Grey Worldwide, McCann Erickson and DDB Mudra.
