    Cycle Pure Agarbathies’s PurePrayer app to help Karnataka devotees connect to the divine

    BENGALURU: Mysuru-based Spiritual Products Private Ltd, part of the NR Group and makers of Cycle Pure Agarbathies, has launched “PurePrayer” mobile App and website PurePrayer.com, a new digital initiative to connect devotees to the divine. In line with Karnataka government’s drive towards safety and wellbeing for all, the PurePrayer App will enable devotees to book Pujas and Sevas at 52 prominent temples in Karnataka including Kota’s Shri Amriteshwari, Hampi’s Sri Viruprakasheshwara Swamy Devastana, Mysuru’s Shri Chamundeshwari Temple and Bengaluru’s Shri Someshwara Swamy Temple.

    The devotees can book pujas, sevas, and specific temple rituals as per the charges prescribed by the temples. The PurePrayer app will not add any additional service charge or convenience for connecting the devotees to the temples.

    State minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said, "We have had discussions with the chief minister regarding Muzrai department, during which it was decided to open temples from 1 June. The temples will be opened to offer Puja and daily rituals; we are not permitting temple fairs and events. We also have a PurePrayer app for our devotees through which they can participate in temple rituals from their home."

    He adds, "All temples will be opened and instructions have been given to take preventive measures and make necessary preparations to ensure social distancing before June. I will discuss with officials and decide on what other measures should be taken so that things go on smoothly, ensuring the safety of devotees."

    Cycle Pure Agarbathies MD Arjun Ranga said, “This initiative has been taken by us to connect devotees to the divine in the wake of the pandemic. We have worked closely with the office of the Commissioner for Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowment, adhering to all the guidelines prescribed.”

    Sony Six and Kix rope in multiple brands for India VS Sri Lanka series

    MUMBAI: As Team India under the leadership of Virat Kohli is set to take on Sri Lanka tomorrow (12 August, 2015),Multi Screen Media’s sports expertise Sony Six and Kix have roped in multiple sponsors for the series, which comprise three Test matches.

     

    Sony Six, which acquired the series’ rights for a speculated $3.2 million, has brought on board Cricbuzz as the title sponsor along with other brands such as Idea, Apple, Royal Stag, Cycle Pure Agarbathies and Think and Learn Pvt Ltd. Additionally, the channel’s ad sales team is also in last stages of formalities with a few more brands.

     

    While the India – Sri Lanka series will be Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara’s last encounter with international cricket, it will also be the first real test of Kohli’s leadership skills.

     

    Speaking to Indiantelevision.com, MSM president Rohit Gupta said, “The series is highly awaited as this becomes the first real test of Virat Kohli. Also this is the final outing for Kumar Sangakkara. Test matches have its own flare and audience and we are sure that it will garner good viewership. We have sold the slots at normal rates and are happy with the reaction from advertisers so far.”

     

    Sony Six and Sony Kix business head Prasana Krishnan had earlier said, “We are delighted to partner Sri Lanka Cricket Board as the official broadcaster of the series. The fixture between the two Asian giants is one of the most sought after and keenly followed contests in cricket and we are proud to be bringing it live to our viewers. And it will be interesting to watch how the Indian squad fares under Virat’s aggressive style of leadership.”

     

    MSM’s new launch Sony Kix will be telecasting the Hindi feed, while Sony Six will air the English version of the coverage. Krishnan is of the opinion that the India VS Sri Lanka series will play a pivotal role is enhancing the reach of the channel. “The three month old channel has already created a huge demand and the series will certainly enhance its presence,” he said.

     

    A cricket expert on condition of anonymity asserted, “The test will not only be of two teams but of the Test format. Test cricket is still the real test of skill; we saw that in Ashes recently but at the same time the format is losing it commercial value, which poses a threat over it in the long run. As a cricket fan, I am waiting for the series to unfold. I feel Harbajjan Singh will come out of the series with flying colours. Also a great of the game will be hanging his boots, which makes it all the more interesting. Overall, I would like to see quality cricket, packed stadium and overwhelming viewership statistics.”

     

    According to sources in the media planning fraternity, MSM is selling a 10 second ad slot for the India – Sri Lanka series between Rs 50,000 – 75,000.

    MUMBAI: STAR India, which runs India’s leading sports network, Star Sports, has sold the title right of Asia Cup 2014 to Arise India. The tournament will be known as Arise Asia cup 2014 powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies. Star Sports has the broadcast and the ground sponsorship rights of Asia Cup 2014.

     

    Arise Asia Cup 2014 powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies starting February 25 will feature 11 One day internationals to be played between leading Asian countries –  India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh along with Afghanistan. Every team will play each other once and the top 2 teams will qualify for the finals to be played on March 08.

    Cycle Pure Agarbathies to co-sponsor the upcoming ODI tri-series featuring India

    MUMBAI: Cycle Pure Agarbathies, India‘s incense sticks (Agarbathi) maker and one of the leading sponsors of cricket in India is adding yet another feather to its cricket association.

    Cycle Pure Agarbathies is co-sponsoring the ODI tri-series between the three countries – India, Sri Lanka and West Indies. The cricket ODI tri-series will start from 28 June and will go on till 11 July. West Indies will be hosting the tri-series against India and Sri Lanka. The ODI tri-series will be held at two venues this year: The first half of the cricket tri-series will be held at Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica from 28 June to 2 July, after which the venue will shift to Trinidad.

    The Triangular series consists of seven one-day matches (ODI‘s) to be played. As a part of the co- sponsorship initiative, the brand will feature on pitch mats, perimeter boards and third umpire decisions. The awards that will be presented to the best all rounder are ‘Cycle Pure Agarbathies Trusted player of the match and Trusted player of the series award.‘

    A strong on air presence has also been planned. Cycle is the associate sponsor for the sports program ‘Straight Drive‘ that will be aired on ten sports during the ODI Tri-series.

    ‘Prayer capsule‘, a new concept will also be presented. The Prayer capsule will be known by the tagline ‘Everyone has a reason to pray‘. This will capture on-ground snippets of players and spectators in their prayer moments.

    The brand will also be overtly active on the digital front through its Facebook page. Participants can send prayers for their favourite cricketers and the winners of Cycle Agarbathies trusted player of the match and series. Exciting prizes have been planned which include autographed match balls.
