Star World Premiere to air finale of ‘American Horror Story: Roanoke’

MUMBAI: Ryan Murphy’s much anticipated season 6 of anthology horror series American Horror Story: Roanoke is finally coming to an end. Star World Premiere will air the finale episode of the show on 20 November at 11 pm.

Roanoke follows the story of Shelby Miller played by Sarah Paulson and Matt Miller played by Cuba Gooding Jr., a young couple who move from LA to North Carolina countryside into a seemingly perfect farmhouse built in the 18th century. However, the building’s close proximity to the site of the Lost Colony’s disappearance along with horrific events taking place at their home causes the couple to start sensing something dark and eerie underneath the facade. Soon, a colony of spirits begins to haunt and threaten them as they uncover the murderous past of the farmhouse and meet the previous owners.

In the previous chapters, it was revealed that Lee played by Adina Porter was the last person alive surviving the control of the forest nymph who murdered many characters including her ex-husband. Audrey played by Paulson also managed to live until she was shot by the police while attempting to kill Lee.

In the grand season finale of American Horror Story: Roanoke,Lee will be seen going on trial for the murder of Monet played by Angela Bassett, alongside the attempted murder case of Audrey Tindall. But what’s more anticipated in the show’s phenomenal finale is the return of Paulson’s best American Horror Story character to date – Lana Winters, a journalist as well as Golden Globe winner Matt Bomer of the series’ season 5, Hotel in an all-new avatar, this season. Another expected return includes fan favourite Evan Peters.

For a season that has been as unpredictable as this one has, the upcoming finale could go in any number of directions. Will Lee face justice for her actions? Is she still possessed by the spirit of the Butcher? Who has assembled all of the found footage that comprised Return to Roanoke?
