    Crocs launches third edition of “Come As You Are” campaign

    MUMBAI: Crocs Inc, a global innovative casual footwear brand for women, men, and children has launched the third year of its “Come As You Are” marketing campaign. Global brand ambassadors, including award-winning actress, singer-songwriter and director Zooey Deschanel, along with British actress Natalie Dormer will encourage consumers to declare that being yourself, being comfortable and looking stylish are not mutually exclusive.

    For the campaign’s official launch, Crocs has released a video that highlights just how easy it is to be comfortable in your own shoes.  Crocs’ most popular products and collections will be showcased throughout the campaign, including LiteRide™, Crocband Platform, Crocs Serena, Swiftwater™ and, Classic Clog

    Crocs chief marketing officer Terence Reilly said, “As we enter our third year of ‘Come As You Are,’ we are evolving not only our message and cast but the entire look and feel of our marketing campaign. Crocs is making a bold declaration that you can have both style and comfort no matter who you are or where your life takes you.”

    Deschanel and Dormer are joined by Chinese actress, dancer, and model Gina Jin, South Korean actress, and gugudan girl-band member Kim Se-Jeong, and Japanese actress and model Suzu Hirose for the year-long campaign.

    “Because comfort comes in many shapes and sizes, our global brand ambassadors will wear and talk about some of our most popular styles in settings that are relevant to their interests and personalities,” Reilly said.

    “Come As You Are” will be seen through various digital, social, print and in-store marketing materials with a specific focus on the United States, Germany, China, Japan, and South Korea. In addition, Crocs will be on the lookout for a 2019 Crocs Fan Ambassador who can show us how they embrace “Come As You Are” and wear Crocs to pursue their passions,” concluded Reilly.

  • Crocs associates with ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ designer

    MUMBAI: Crocs, the global footwear brand, associates with one of India’s leading designer Sourabh Kant Shrivastava who has designed his new collection inspired by the movie “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion”. The collection will be showcased through a fashion event, organized by Bollywoo.ooo, an online portal that curates movie-inspired apparels and accessories, in Mumbai, on 7 April 2017 with Bollywood celebrities Tamannaah Bhatia and Rana Daggubati walking the ramp for Sourabh Kant.

    The collection is inspired from the drama and grandeur that Baahubali has which further translates into a collection which is all Black and Gold. On one hand, ‘Black’ contributes to the mystery and makes the collection look more dramatic, while on the other hand, the ‘Gold Embellishments’accentuates the royalty in the movie. Speaking about his collection,

    Shrivastava says, “I have done clothes which have embroidery and appliqué in leather and zari fabric. The jewelry is a modern take on traditional styles which is used in the movie”.

    The collection will be showcased in association with Crocs where the models will walk the ramp wearing Crocs’ camp and promoting their new campaign “Come As You Are” which encourages people to celebrate the uniqueness in them. The collection is being promoted by Drew Barrymore and John Cena.

    On the association, Crocs India M.D. Deepak Chhabra said, “Sourabh Kant’s collection is an incredible assortment of what royalty and elegance together looks like. This is a perfect platform to bring about a change in how Crocs is perceived.”

    The event will be set up with a forest theme to create the ambiance as similar as that of the movie and to create the royal feeling among the audience.

    On the association with Sourabh Kant, Crocs India E-commerce and marketing manager Bhavna Tewari said, “Crocs has always believed in supporting creative ecosystems that encourage artistic works. We are very proud to be associated with India’s prominent designer Sourabh Kant with avant-garde sensibilities.     Nickelodeon inks footware licensing deal with Crocs, US

    MUMBAI: Crocs, Inc. has announced that it has entered into a creative licensing agreement with Viacom’s kids channel Nickelodeon, and will introduce an exclusive, limited edition line of footwear incorporating Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants characters. The new line will be available at select U.S. retail locations in summer 2007.

    Crocs CEO Ron Snyder stated, “We are thrilled to partner with Nickelodeon, as we bring the favorite network for kids together with kid’s favorite footwear. Crocs will be launching a new line of exciting footwear for our young customers featuring characters. Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants are a great fit with Crocs and we see this licensing agreement as a fantastic opportunity to connect with our target consumers, and grow our brand and business.”

    Crocs to debut Disney footwear

    MUMBAI: Crocs, Inc., will introduce a limited edition line of footwear featuring some of Disney’s most popular characters. The new line called “Disney by Crocs” will be available at select US retail locations prior to the 2006 holiday season with an expanded product line launch occurring next year.

    Crocs CEO Ron Snyder said, “We are incredibly proud and excited to be aligned with one of the world’s leading brands and to bring a truly unique type of product to our customers. Disney characters symbolize fun and magic, and we think they are a particularly good fit with the Crocs brand.”

    The Disney by Crocs line, which is targeted towards children and adults, will debut with special-edition Mickey Mouse die-cut Adult Beach and Kid’s Cayman models. These styles will be available in a broad range of two-toned color pallets including Mickey’s signature black and red.

    Other models include an array of unique designs emphasising the distinctive personalities of Disney’s characters including Mickey and Friends, Winnie the Pooh and Friends, Disney Princess, Disney Fairies, as well as Pirates of the Caribbean and Disney Pixar’s Toy Story and Cars.
