    Nike promotes Anagha Alreja to lead global brand creative voice

    OREGON: Anagha Alreja has been promoted to director of global brand creative for brand voice at Nike, expanding her remit from regional oversight of Asia-Pacific and Latin America to worldwide responsibilities.

    The appointment, effective September 2025, elevates Alreja after 16 months as creative director for brand voice across Nike’s APLA markets. She has spent nearly 13 years at the American sportswear giant, climbing from head of brand communications in India to increasingly senior creative roles at the company’s Beaverton headquarters.

    Alreja brings two decades of marketing experience with marquee brands including an eight-year stint at Walt Disney Co, where she served as senior manager for franchise marketing in Mumbai. The Cannes award winner describes herself as driven by consumer insights and strategy, with a particular interest in media and technology innovations.

    Her promotion comes as Nike continues to invest heavily in direct-to-consumer marketing and brand storytelling across emerging markets, where the company sees significant growth potential. Alreja’s track record spans traditional advertising, digital marketing and collaborative leadership roles.

    Before joining Nike in 2013, she also worked in marketing and sales at Real Image Media Technologies in Mumbai’s metropolitan region.

    Sabu Jose appointed creative director at Identical Brains

    Mumbai: Post facility Identical Brains has announced the appointment of Sabu Jose as creative director, a strategic move aimed at strengthening the company’s post-production services for feature films, OTT, and advertising content. He will also play a key role in advancing its renowned visual effects division.

    With over two decades of experience in the film and advertising sectors, Jose has an extensive portfolio featuring collaborations with leading brands such as Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Tata Motors, Airtel, Lakmé, and Garnier. His career includes leadership roles at prestigious studios, including Famous Studios, Prime Focus Ltd, Studio Mirage, and VC Studiioz.

    In his new role, Jose will oversee creative direction, digital content creation, and post-production consulting. Identical Brains is set to expand its DI colour grading services using advanced technologies like Baselight and Resolve, alongside bolstering audio post-production capabilities with Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixing for immersive sound experiences.

    Previously, Jose served as COO and creative head at VC Studiioz, where he led post-production and brand services. He also founded ClearFX in 2024, offering visual design and filmmaking consultancy. His journey began as a 3D animator at Crest Communication, later progressing to roles as a senior editor and VFX artist at Famous Studios and Prime Focus.

    Kinnect appoints Ankur Garg as ECD for its Delhi & Bengaluru offices

    Mumbai: Creative, data, and digital media powerhouse Kinnect on Thursday announced the appointment of Ankur Garg as Executive Creative Director-Art. Garg will handle operations for the company’s Delhi and Bengaluru offices. He will be based in Delhi and report to Kinnect national head-design Priyanka Mestry Soni.

    Garg brings with him 15 years of experience and has worked with agencies such as Lintas, JWT, Hakuhodo, FCB ULKA and Dentsu Impact, with experience working on some of the notable brands such as Indian Army, NACO, Airtel, ESPN Star Sports, Sony, Monte Carlo, Airtel, Docomo, Indian Super League (Delhi team), Hitachi, Antara Senior Living, Max Healthcare, NetFlix, Herbalife Nutrition, IKEA, Subway, Carlsberg, HT Media, Parryware and Vmart.

    Grapes appoints Partha Sengupta as creative director

    Mumbai: Integrated marketing agency Grapes has announced the appointment of Partha Sengupta as creative director. He will be based out of the agency’s Delhi office and will report to the chief operating officer and strategy head Shradha Agarwal.

    In this role, Sengupta will be responsible for the agency’s creative output for brands. He will supervise the creative teams, assist in campaign conceptualisation, and will overlook art and creative teams, respectively.  

    Prior to this, Sengupta was associated with Wunderman Thompson as a senior creative director for more than three years. He has been instrumental in conceptualising campaigns of several brands.

After graduating from the National Institute Of Design, he had worked in agencies like McCann Worldgroup, Rediffusion DY&R, and J Walter & Thompson, Havas worldwide.

    Sociowash elevates Surbhi Allagh to business head, Mumbai

    Mumbai: Creative digital marketing agency Sociowash has named Surbhi Allagh as its new business head for Mumbai.

    With more than half a decade’s worth of experience in the advertising industry and close to four years in the organisation, Allagh has a clear understanding of the advertising industry and Sociowash’s culture that needs to be built in Mumbai, said the agency in a statement.

    Hired as a creative lead and soon promoted as the agency’s creative director, Allagh is also an instructor at the Sociowash and is currently helping build Sociowash Studios, a new venture that is soon to be launched by the organisation.

    With 200 brands and 120 team members across both of its offices, the agency is set to expand its Mumbai team. “Surbhi joined us in February 2018 as a creative lead.     Mumbai: FoxyMoron, the full-funnel digital and creative agency under the Zoo Media Network has announced the appointment of Priyanshi Shah as creative director, West.  

    In this new role at FoxyMoron, Shah will be leading the creative operations for the agency’s clientele based out of the region and report to national creative directorDhruv Warrior, it said in a statement on Wednesday.

She has conceptualised and executed award winning campaigns for brands like Maybelline, HBO India, GoAir amongst several others.

    Prior to FoxyMoron, she served as creative strategist at By The Gram. She has previously worked with the agencies WatConsult and AER Media.

    Mumbai Digital-first agency Gozoop has announced the appointment of Yash Bendkhale as creative director. 

    He will be heading the art team & co-leading the production team with creative director Aadheeraj Krishna and will report to VP of national operations Premkumar Iyer, said the company.

    Umang Puri rejoins FoxyMoron as creative director

    Mumbai: Zoo Media network-backed digital services agency FoxyMoron has appointed Umang Puri as creative director of the North region. He will be reporting to national creative director Dhruv Warrior.

    Puri has rejoined FoxyMoron from Digitas India, where he served as creative director. During his first stint at FoxyMoron, he was a creative manager.

    “Umang is an ideas guy who has a detailed approach to his work. It perfectly complements his in-depth knowledge of the digital world. His campaigns have won multiple awards on platforms like the Abby’s, WARC, Spike Asia, and Effies. In 2019 he was also shortlisted as a ‘Young Spike’ at the Spike Asia Awards.

    New Delhi: RepIndia on Tuesday appointed Purnima Bali as creative director. She will be tasked with leading the creative endeavour at RepIndia, and further grow the creative business across Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.

    Bali was previously working as the associate creative director at Interactive Avenues, Gurugram, where she headed the creative team and led the creative business for brands such as Honda Cars India, Hero Cycles, Havmor Icecreams, DishTV, and Oppo Mobiles.
