    Digital marketing agency Sociowash has won the digital marketing mandate for Viacom18’s music brands MTV Beats, VH1 and KaanPhod, English entertainment brands Colors Infinity and Comedy Central, and multiformat content destination Fully Faltoo YouTube channel, with NFT marketplace fullyfaltoonft.com. 

    Sociowash will be responsible for reinforcing each brand’s digital presence by conceptualizing relevant content that users can engage with daily. In addition to that, the agency will also work towards creating content that not only reiterates the quirky vibe of the brands but also emphasizes on creating dynamic and thought-provoking content for its viewers. This partnership will serve to further enhance the digital presence of Viacom18’s Music and English Entertainment brands, multi format content destination Fully Faltoo YouTube channel and fullfaltoonft.com.

    All these responsibilities will be taken care of by the Mumbai branch of the Sociowash. The aim for Sociowash will be to synergize with these youth-centric brands and create active digital media content across all social platforms. Collectively, the brands under this mandate offer content across genres including comedy, music, snackable shows as well as Fully Faltoo NFT marketplace.

    Mumbai: Viacom18’s English GEC Colors Infinity has announced the launch of its new reality entertainment show “The Inventor Challenge.” It is the Indian adaptation of the Emmy award-winning show “Everyday Edisons.”

    Conceptualised as an idea incubation platform, the show will give meritorious ideas from across the country an opportunity to translate from paper to working prototypes. It will soon be available on Colors Infinity as well as the channel’s digital destinations.

    “Today’s India is a fertile ground for ideas that can solve complex problems. ‘The Inventor Challenge’ is an inclusive platform for inventors across the length and breadth of the country as they transform their innovations into reality. It’s a very demanding journey and we at Colors Infinity are delighted to be a part of it,” stated Viacom 18 head – youth, music and English entertainment Anshul Ailawadi.

    “The Inventor Challenge” will bring together amateur inventors through each episode to pitch their ideas to a panel, which will be revealed soon, said the channel. “The panelists will then select a few participants to proceed to the next round. The top two participants will be assigned mentors to help build their innovations in a specially designed lab. The platform will showcase their journey of bringing these ideas to life and presenting the final product to consumer focus groups,” it added.

    MUMBAI: The country is gearing up to celebrate India’s 74 Independence Day. The patriotic fervor is in the air. However this year’s Independence Day, which is traditionally marked with a lot of pomp and gaiety, will be subdued and restricted due to the circumstances created by the Covid2019 pandemic.  But broadcasters are keeping up the spirit. From Hindi general entertainment channels to English GECs to news and movie channels, all have donned the colours of the tricolour.

    The team at Colors’ Khatron Ke Khiladi: Made in India in a special episode honour’s braveheart warriors that will air on 15 August 2020 – Independence Day.

    The real khiladis who will be felicitated on the episode are senior police officer Ramesh Nangare, Dr Anil Panchekar, and Pune’s ‘Warrior Aaji’ Shanta Balu Pawar. The khiladis will share their stories and reflect on their experiences as they worked courageously in the face of the pandemic. Senior police officer Ramesh Nangare and his team policed the city fearlessly during the pandemic. Dr Anil Panchekar worked tirelessly in Dharavi which was one of the most Covid2019 affected areas in Mumbai. Warrior Aaji Shanta Balu Pawar, whose earnings were affected because of the pandemic, performed some fearless lathi stunts to earn a living for her family. The courageous acts by the real khiladi’s will be celebrated on the show.

    Comedy Central India and Colors Infinity have curated special programming with Indian-origin actors that have carved a niche on the international scene and become globally recognised stars. Starting 11am on the 74 Independence Day, you can watch 73 of the best Koothrappali special episodes of The Big Bang Theory starring Kunal Nayyar as Raj Koothrappali.

But Gordon believes that elephants become dangerous only because of our actions towards them. He wants to see if it’s possible to gain the trust of these majestic giants. In this series, Gordon follows the struggles of first-time mother Wendi and her spoilt new baby, Wiva. He walks with some of the largest tusked elephants on Earth and sees what it takes for an elephant family to survive in today’s Africa.

    Wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan ventures deep into the Congo to find out more about the largest gorillas in the world. Grauer’s gorillas are beautiful yet little known giants living in the foothills of the Virunga volcanoes. To get to know his gorilla family, Gordon must earn the trust of the massive and potentially dangerous Silverback male – Chimunka – but he must also watch out for the powerful, testosterone-fuelled young males vying for supremacy within the family. When Gordon and the baby gorillas of the troop get caught up in an epic battle between Chimunka and his huge brooding rival Mugaruka, the lives of the family hang in the balance.

    Tiger – Spy in the Jungle

    Bouldercam and a host of new spycams are on their most exciting mission yet. Carried by elephants, they film India’s most charismatic big cat deep inside the Indian jungle, uncovering the hidden wildlife that shares the tiger’s realm. This revealing programme follows the different stages of a tiger’s life from playful cubs, to learning adolescents and ultimately to young hunting adults. It also provides a unique insight into how the relationship with the other jungle animals changes as they mature including sloth bears – a rarely filmed bear with a unique character – famous for carrying its comical babies on its back, and leopards – the tiger’s major competitor.

    MUMBAI: BBC Studios has announced a licensing deal with Viacom18 Media, which will see the latest series of Top Gear air on the Indian entertainment network’s premium English entertainment channel – Colours Infinity. The deal for the world’s biggest motoring entertainment show, was revealed today at Showcase, BBC Studios’ spectacular trade event held in Liverpool each year.

    This multi-platform deal with Viacom18 will make series 27 of Top Gear available to Indian viewers that are looking forward to watch their favorite motoring show.

    Top Gear is the world’s biggest and longest-running motoring entertainment show which has had a huge global following across 200+ territories, making it one of the world’s most widely watched factual TV programmes. The much-loved series features gruelling challenges, epic adventures and state-of-the-art supercars with a hint of mayhem, humour and mischief.

    Series 27 introduces a shiny new presenter line up, with comedian and TV presenter Paddy McGuinness and cricketing legend Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff joining motoring journalist Chris Harris. Also back in the driving seat is the enigmatic white-suited professional driver, known across the globe as The Stig.  

    From the brutal heat of the Ethiopian desert to the sweltering Borneo rainforest, from the wilds of Iceland to the pedestrianised shopping district of a British market town, Top Gear is bigger than ever. The team tackle the fastest, hottest, toughest Top Gear challenges to date, pushing their cars and themselves to the limits.     MUMBAI: Viacom18, kick-starting the year with a big bang, will showcase coveted movies and television awards – 77th Golden Globe Awards through its English entertainment channels. Hosted for the fifth time by the sensational Ricky Gervais for the record, the gala held at the Beverly Park, California will simulcast exclusively on Vh1, Comedy Central and Colors Infinity on Monday 06 January at 7:30 AM IST, with a repeat telecast at 9 PM.

    Colors Infinity introduced Shark Fin Sipper as a revolutionary new sipper/energy drink that doesn’t give you wings but works as a magical potion that gives you mind-blowing business-worthy ideas to resolve any problem.
