    MUMBAI: BBC World News is all set to organise the Golf Connect tournament, welcoming corporate leaders from across India. The channel will host the event on 27 February, 2016 in Gurgaon.

    The event will be attended by more than 100 leading golfers from different types of businesses and will provide professional networking opportunity for the participants.

    The event is in its 12th year and has seen participation from the likes of PepsiCo CEO D Shivakumar, Max New York Life Insurance CEO and MD Rajesh Sud, Cleartrip president and COO Samyukth Sridharan last year.

    Participation to the evening is by invitation, though potential players can still register their interest via email to engage@bbc.com.

  • Cleartrip unveils Video Stamps in TV branding

    MUMBAI: Wieden+Kennedy has conceptualised an innovative television branding campaign for travel portal Cleartrip.

    The agency has come up with 10-second video stamps that go on air today which are designed to be quick reminders for people to book for the upcoming holiday season with Cleartrip‘s products.

    As an extension of the brand‘s soul and a symbol of its quick service, the video stamps take up only as little time as necessary to effectively remind people of Cleartrip‘s products and what they do, while simultaneously providing a peek into the brand‘s quirky personality.

    Through these stamps, the brand speaks in a tone and style that is true to its personality. Produced by Hello Robot and directed by Helen Clemens, the 10-second video stamps playfully bring Cleartrip‘s unique vibe to life. The video stamps will also be available on Cleartrip‘s Facebook page.

  • Webitude bags social media duties for Cleartrip

    Webitude bags social media duties for Cleartrip

    MUMBAI: Online travel agency portal Cleartrip.com has awarded its social media duties to digital marketing agency Webitude.


    Before this, the site’s social media duties were handled by an in house team. The creative mandate for Clearptrip is handled by Publicis while OMD takes care of its media duties.


    The digital mandate is currently handled by Goa-based Synapse.


    Webitude will plans to launch a customer query redressal system using social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. The social media campaign will also include a sampling opportunity for audiences.
