    MUMBAI: Razorfish, known for helping global brands drive business transformation, has appointed Divya Uttam as director – strategy.

     

    Uttam joins from Cheil Worldwide after driving digital transformation journeys for Samsung, Dettol, Jaquar, Aviva, Nicorette, 7UP, DHL, Johnson’s Baby, Wrigley, Dell, Nissan, Volkswagen, Delhi Dare Devils and RCB amongst others.

    MUMBAI: Razorfish India is further strengthening its core team and has brought in Arnab Majumdar to head business development. While he will be based in Mumbai, his mandate is to lead business acquisitions and establish new business operations models across its offices in India.

    MUMBAI: Razorfish India bagged five awards at the ‘Social Media Summit & Awards.’ The agency won the ‘Social Media Campaign of the Year’ award for Van Heusen, ‘Best Use of Twitter’ award for Allen Solly, Van Heusen and Alto #25LakhAltos and ‘Online Game of the Year’ for Alto – K10 Get-Set-Chase.

    Razorfish China is ‘Leader’ among digital agencies: Forrester Research

    MUMBAI: Razorfish China has been named as the ‘Leader’ among digital agencies in China.

     

    Razorfish China was among the eight select companies that Forrester Research invited to participate in The Forrester Wave: Digital Agencies in China – Strategy and Execution, Q1 2015. The 26 January, 2015 report was authored by analyst Xiaofeng Wang.

     

    The report identifies four “waves”: leaders, strong performers, contenders and risky bets – evaluated on the range of digital services offered, understanding of the Chinese market and client retention and acquisition. Razorfish China received a ‘Leader’ status, with among the highest score in the ‘account management’ category.

    Razorfish appoints Charulata Ravi Kumar as new CEO for India

    MUMBAI: Razorfish has announced the appointment of Charulata Ravi Kumar as the chief executive officer, India.

     Kumar will work from the agency’s Mumbai office, also responsible for the regional presence across Bangalore, Gurgaon and Pune. She will report to APAC executive chairman Vincent Digonnet.

     

    Previously, Kumar has held leadership roles in India, Middle East and Europe and has managed businesses and brands across US and South Asia. Her 25 year career includes stints with the WPP and Lowe networks as well as establishing her own successful innovation and leadership skills consultancy Coffee Kettle.

     

    Kumar said, “I’m honoured to lead Razorfish India’s business and to be tasked with taking the network to new heights, leveraging technology, social media, e-commerce, data services, experience, design and brand building capabilities to deliver transformational business experiences. My goal is to ensure Razorfish India remains to be the destination for smart, curious, creative and entrepreneurial-minded people and to further strengthen Razorfish India’s existing core competencies.”

     

    Digonnet remarked, “Charulata brings to this role true business transformation skills through a blend of innovation, integrated marketing solutions and entrepreneurship. She has diverse experience across sectors such as services, manufacturing and consumer products across leading multinational corporations and global brands.”
