  • Tata Studi shows the right way to learn in its new ad campaign

    New Delhi: E-learning application, Tata Studi has launched a new ad campaign, positioning the platform as a ‘perfect’ after-school coach for students.

    Conceptualised by Gozoop, the campaign – Padhne ka Sahi Tareeka (the right way to learn’ highlights the functionality of the application and showcases the science of learning that helps a child become an independent learner. The app also lets parents know how their child is performing, through a feature called ‘Progress Tracker’.

    Tata ClassEdge, chief- B2C, Sachin Torne said, “We want to enable students to plan and schedule their studies across different subjects, learn systematically instead of cramming and rote-learning and use effective study strategies to confidently face exams. There’s a science behind effective learning and Studi packs in some of the best principles from this science.”

    The ad series is aligned to emphasise on dedicated facets provided by Studi, which is part of the Tata group and caters to CBSE students of Class 1 to 8. The campaign was released on both electronic and online platforms.

    “Parents want their children to be more independent in their studies. They want them to experience more, get inspired more, shine more – Studi is a means to that end – a coach in the life of the child where he / she can learn concepts that last for long,” said Gozoop, group director, brand communications, Megha Ahuja. “This campaign will capture many such stories and trace the trajectories of children and parents like you and me, who can benefit from edutech learning, but in the right way. Our aim has been to capture the same story throughout.”

    Discovery Kids & WWF-India partner to bring Wildlife Quiz ‘Wild Wisdom Quiz 2016’

    MUMBAI: WWF-India and Discovery Kids today announced their partnership to host the 2016 edition of the Wild Wisdom Quiz – India’s biggest and only national-level wildlife quiz. Focusing on the theme of ‘Evolution and Biodiversity’, the quiz not only tests children’s knowledge about the planet and its various facets but also aims to build awareness and knowledge among children about the constantly evolving biological diversity that makes our planet special.

    Discovery Kids & WWF-India’s Wild Wisdom Quiz 2016, reaching out to more than 15,000 schools and over 40,00,000 children, will be conducted in 13 cities across India,. Supported by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the quiz will be conducted at the primary, middle and senior level. The National Finale will be held in New Delhi in October during the Wildlife Week (Oct 2nd-8th). The top 3 winning teams will be taken on an all-paid trip to a conservation landscape to witness on-ground activities as well as experience wildlife and nature like never before.

    NEW DELHI: All states and Union Territories have been urged to take necessary steps to popularize and promote the sport of football in their territory in order to make the FIFA U-17 World Cup a huge success by including Football in various programmes of the State Governments.

    In a letter sent to all chief secretaries of states and union territories, Department of Sports secretary Rajiv Yadav said that FIFA U-17 World Cup is going to be held in India in October 2017 and it is the first time that this prestigious tournament will be held in India.

    Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme on 27 March, the letter said that Modi had called for building an atmosphere and fervour of football in the country as a run up to the FIFA U-17 World Cup. He wants football to be played in every nook and corner of the country.

    The communication said that following the call of the Prime Minister, the Department of Sports had initiated a series of steps to popularize football throughout the country. Several rounds of discussion have been held with FIFA, AIFF, KVS, CBSE, Subroto Mukerjee Sports Education Society and other stakeholders to firm up appropriate programmes.

    As a result, ‘Mission 11 Million’ programme has been formulated and will be launched in coordination with FIFA in about 30 cities across the country. The letter said the primary objective of the programme is to engage more than 11 million children in activities relating to football. It said the programme is likely to be launched in October this year.
