Communications veteran moves to realise Value 360’s growth ambitions

NEW DELHI: Abhishek Dikshit, a communications specialist with over 20 years of experience crafting narratives for global brands, has joined Value 360 as vice-president. The appointment signals the PR firm’s intent to accelerate its evolution from challenger to trusted partner in India’s competitive communications landscape.

Dikshit arrives from Kaizzen, where he spent four years as associate vice-president leading campaigns for healthcare, IT, energy and infrastructure clients. His portfolio included high-profile mandates for CMRI Hospital, Cairn Energy, FabIndia and BM Birla, among others.

The new hire brings particular expertise in crisis management—a skill that earned his previous firm PR Professionals two golds. His crisis communication blueprint helped clients navigate reputational challenges whilst maintaining stakeholder trust.

Before his agency stint,  Dikshit spent over four years at Amway India, where he led corporate communications across north India. His CSR initiatives there earned him the company’s regional trophy for three consecutive years and a spot representing India at Amway’s global CSR summit in Michigan in 2013.

His career spans blue-chip clients including Google, Intel, Volkswagen, Canon and TataSky. At 20:20 Media, he orchestrated regional campaigns across 10 states, amplifying brand visibility for technology and automotive brands in tier-one and emerging markets.

The appointment comes as Value 360 seeks to capitalise on India’s growing demand for strategic communications. The firm, led by Kunal Kishore, Gaurav Patra and Manisha Chaudhary, has built its reputation on what it calls a “will do” culture—emphasising execution over promises.

Dikshit holds a postgraduate diploma in mass communication from Jaipuria Institute of Management and is certified in digital marketing. His approach combines traditional storytelling with data-driven strategy, tailored for diverse audience ecosystems across traditional, digital and owned media platforms.

“In a world full of noise, the power of communication lies in crafting clarity that connects,” Dikshit said, outlining his philosophy as he settles into his new role.

Canon shoots its shot with ‘Deep Dive’ masterclass for budding storytellers

MUMBAI: Lights, camera, level up! Canon India is stepping out from behind the camera and into the classroom with Deep Dive, an ambitious, first-of-its-kind masterclass series designed to empower the next wave of photographers, videographers, and filmmakers. But don’t expect a slideshow and a swag bag. This is Canon going full throttle into the creator economy lens-first.

Launched in collaboration with IFP, a global creator-first community, Deep Dive is Canon’s answer to an evolving creative landscape where storytellers need more than just inspiration. They need a complete toolkit: creative, technical, and professional. And that’s exactly what this masterclass promises a crash course in the entire visual workflow, from pre-shoot vision to post-production precision.

But what really gives Deep Dive its edge is its who’s who of mentors. Canon’s North Star Alliance has brought together industry powerhouses like Ravi K Chandran, Santosh Sivan, Anand Rathi, Sudeep Chatterjee, G Venket, and Siddharth Sharma names that carry weight not just in Indian cinema, but across international storytelling circles. Their mission? To share more than tips to pass on a legacy of craftsmanship in a world increasingly reliant on speed and surface.

The series aims to do away with the ‘point and shoot’ mindset and usher in a ‘plan and produce’ approach. Participants won’t just fiddle with Canon’s latest tech they’ll deep-dive into real-world workflows, exploring everything from camera setup and lighting design to colour grading, audio layering and final delivery. With Canon’s partners Aperture, Eizo, and Sennheiser backing the experience, there’s no corner of the production puzzle left untouched.

Each session is designed as a full-fledged, city-specific experiential journey, with experts from the wedding, cinema, and fashion industries leading live demonstrations. In Gurgaon, the first city on the map, Canon ambassador Siddharth Sharma kick-started the series with a session that blended insight with intensity and left participants clamouring for more.

Canon India president and CEO Toshiaki Nomura said, “At Canon, we deeply value creators and believe in their limitless creative potential. We recognize that to truly excel, creators need more than just inspiration—they need the right knowledge, cutting-edge technology, and hands-on experience to push their boundaries. They must evolve beyond being mere visual storytellers to mastering the entire workflow, from capturing the perfect shot to delivering a polished final product. With Deep Dive, Canon is proud to create an experiential platform where young, talented filmmakers and photographers can gain real-world expertise, engage with industry leaders, and experience the transformative power of Canon’s advanced imaging technology. Through initiatives like these, Canon is proud to be facilitating the growth of the entire ecosystem, empowering the next generation of creative visionaries.”

And it’s not just about upping individual skills Canon sees Deep Dive as part of a broader mission to nurture and elevate India’s creator ecosystem. It’s a signal that the brand isn’t just focused on selling cameras, but on investing in what comes after the shutter clicks: storytelling, innovation, and community.

In a world flooded with content, standing out requires more than just talent, it needs technique, tools, and trust in one’s creative voice. Deep Dive is Canon’s attempt to offer all three, wrapped in a format that’s immersive, inspiring and packed with substance.

With more cities queued up and interest already peaking, Deep Dive is shaping up to be more than just a masterclass. It’s a movement. And for the creators ready to stop shooting in the dark and start crafting with intention, Canon just lit the way.

We are confident that the new products will help users immensely in their daily workflows, setting new standards in the industry.”

Along with an impressive performance, the series also boasts of an elegant sleek design with a flat top that makes roll paper setup convenient, enhancing both user convenience and aesthetics.

Commenting on the lineup, Canon India Sr director, products & communication C Sukumaran said, “As we launch a new lineup of TM series today, we at Canon India are proud to be enabling businesses to unlock new levels of productivity and efficiency. This versatile and innovative lineup encompasses printers in both single and multifunction categories, effectively addressing the diverse printing requirements of copy shops and businesses. Superior Print Speed with Efficient Print Applications

Boasting the all-new ‘L-COA PRO II’ image processing engine, the TM series is designed for rapid activation from sleep mode, ensuring remarkable productivity when producing drawings and posters. It speeds up data processing time for continuous printing. For TM-5350/5355, this engine significantly expedites data processing for continuous printing and  it achieves a remarkable printing rate of approximately 3.2 sheets1 of drawing prints per minute – an outstanding 28% improvement compared to its predecessors.

Powered by free print application “Direct Print Plus”, urgent print jobs can be sent in batches using different file formats with simple drag and drop functionality to the printers easily. Posters and flyers can be created using “PosterArtist”, a free web application, where new designs can be customised from a wide selection of templates.

    High Quality Vivid Prints

The newly designed image processing reproduces the colour of the print in deep and vivid manner. Equipped with newly developed magenta ink for excellent red colour development, it helps to reproduce important details highlighted in lines and texts for CAD drawings and good quality posters even on plain paper. In addition, all-colour pigment ink is used to print posters and other layouts, which ensure that they do not fade easily over a long period of time. Borderless posters using roll papers can also be produced without the hassle of cutting the margins after printing. With colour calibration function enabled, variations in output colour will be corrected, leading to stable colour reproduction for optimum print quality.

Ease of Use with New Printer Design

All models come with new flat top design for easy daily operation in loading media by placing roll paper on top of the printer, attaching roll holders, and sliding along a guide, thus enabling smaller operational space without using another table. Added features such as paper type detection shortens operation time during loading of paper and reduces labor costs. Enhanced with wider printer panel, paper type with remaining roll paper estimation and ink levels are visible at one glance. There is a significant reduction in the operating noise during printing, especially for TM-5240/5340. With operating noise of about 39dB, it is about 1/3 of the conventional model.

    Environmentally Friendly in Product Packaging

In reduction of environmental impact, this is the first Canon large format inkjet printer with cardboard product packaging instead of Styrofoam.
