MUMBAI: Bomanbridge Media, a Singapore-based content distribution and production agency, continues to ramp up its catalogue with the addition of animated series Mojicons, from Denmark’s Ink Group. Ink Global holds worldwide rights for Mojicons, excluding Asia which is represented by Bomanbridge.

Mojicons shows the behind-the-scenes world of the Internet, which is populated by Mojicons – the innumerable emoticons we routinely use in email communication and mobile messaging. Ironically this zany bunch of condensed emotions is clueless as to how the Web works. When a mysterious digital villain steals the “@” sign – thus halting electronic correspondence – the Mojicons have to embark on an awe-inspiring and dangerous quest to restore their system. If only they knew what the system was! Many a jaw will drop on both sides of the screen as the Internet universe reveals its secrets to both the Mojicons and the kids watching their crazy adventures.

“Bomanbridge is a content trend-setter in Asia and we have been actively scouring the globe for the next big program ideas. Mojicons is this caliber of show, picking up on the intense and popular use of emojis around the world. Asians are very connected to their phones and emojis have taken on a life of their own. “We are confident that NBCU will enjoy as much success with the show as the Food Network has,” he further added.
