    Likee collaborates with I Am Desi World to promote new music video

    New Delhi:  Likee, the pioneering global short video creation platform from Singapore based BIGO Technology has collaborated with I Am Desi World to promote a new music video. Launched in 2017, I Am Desi World is a group of 5 quirky singers, and the band has gained its popularity for making creative and offbeat Haryanvi language songs. Basis on the collaboration with I am Desi Wold, Likee is all set to amplify reach of the new music video with #haryanvimashup. The song is a mashup of popular Haryanvi songs with original lyrics by Gurmeet Bhadana from the band.

    As part of this collaboration, Likeers will get an opportunity to make creative dance videos with music integration of the new high-energy song by I Am Desi World. Also, the band will create its official account on Likee to engage with the young music enthusiasts. I Am Desi World is a regional band highly popular in Delhi-NCR and is formed by five music enthusiasts namely Gurmeet Bhadana, Lokesh Gurjar, Totaram Sondhiya, Desi King (Himanshu Kumar) and Baba Bhairupia (Ravi Sharma). They are primarily known for their risky creative pursuits in the music world and powerful performances. Through their collaboration with Likee, I Am Desi World aims to further expand its reach among the youths of India who love to experiment with new things.

Likee has over taken other popular apps such as SHAREit, YouTube, Snapchat and Netflix.

    MUMBAI: Likee, the pioneering global short video creation platform from Singapore based BIGO Technology has collaborated with Ashutosh Gowariker Productions as digital partner for its upcoming movie Panipat. The film aims to educate the youth of India on the Third Battle of Panipat, one of the most eventful wars in the 18th century, in Indian history. Set to be released on December 6, Ashutosh Gowariker Productions recently organized a special trailer preview event with the lead actors Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon. Select Likee users were invited to the special event and were also privileged with a chance to exclusively spend time with the lead actors and click pictures with them. 

    Likee was the only digital partner of the film with exclusive access to the movie's first trailer preview, along with the star cast of the film. The trailer was later premiered for the public.     Likee to support underprivileged talented youth with #Likeedreams initiative

    MUMBAI: Likee, the pioneering global short video creation platform from Singapore based BIGO Technology today announced the launch of Likee's Creator Academy with #Likeedreams theme. Inspired from the Indian government's Skill India campaign, Creator Academy is a special initiative of the platform to reach out to select, talented Likee users and train them in polishing their video-making skills. The Academy has completed 3 seasons of training in the past, and with Season 4 #Likeedreams, the platform aims to reach out to Likee users from underprivileged background to train them with professional video making skills including the Likee’s new function of long-format video and help them achieve their dreams.

    In India, many talented young people from underprivileged backgrounds have emerged as popular entertainers. Their stories have always inspired common people and have motivated them to continue chasing their dreams. With the launch of #Likeedreams, Likee aims to ensure that the talented youth from the underprivileged background receive necessary training to create professional videos. #Likeedreams is supporting one such dream of Mamoni, an 18-year-old girl who lives in a village in Delhi and aims to become a professional dancer. Mamoni is the youngest child to her parents who earn their living by pulling rickshaw and providing housekeeping services. Despite the lack of resources, Mamoni never gave up on her dreams. First, she learnt dancing from a charity organisation called Dance Out of Poverty and now she is selected to be a part of Likee's Creator Academy and is currently learning professional video creating skills to make powerful videos of her dance performances.

    Similar to Mamoni, #Likeedreams is working with more such talented young people from the underprivileged strata of society and helping them move closer their dreams. In coming months video case studies of such aspiring individuals will be shared in the public domain to inspire others.
