    ZEE Biskope serves weekend entertainment with TV premiere of Kayamat

    Mumbai: Bhojpuri channel ZEE Biskope is all set to bring fresh content for its viewers this weekend with a special line-up including the world TV premier of blockbuster movie Kayamat.

    The movie featuring Namit Tiwari and Poonam Dubey will be telecasted this Sunday at 6 PM in Jila Top band. The story revolves around the life of Ajay (Namit), an honest and brave police officer, who risks his life to serve in the line of duty and justice. Ajay goes through a host of challenges in his quest to unravel the truth and provide justice to a couple in a murder case.

    Apart from the world premiere, the channel also plans to bring Hollywood movies dubbed in Hindi, as part of a new content band ‘Hollywood Garda’ on Sundays at 12 noon. It will broadcast the 2018 American live-action animated horror comedy film Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween on 23 May. Making the day all the more engaging, it will also telecast the winning entries of its Mother’s Day campaign ‘Tu Chinta Mat Kar Maai’ throughout the day. There will be some heartfelt messages of viewers giving an assurance to their mothers on how they took care of themselves during the pandemic.

    MUMBAI: Marching into the month of Holi, known as Faguaa in the Purvanchal region, sees one eagerly await one of the biggest festivals in the country. With the aim to add colour in the lives of its viewers, Big Ganga is once again all set to bring a vibrant Holi special line-up with Faguaa 2021.The celebration of Faguaa will be weaved around a specific theme to make it more engaging and entertaining.     MUMBAI: Chhath Puja is an ancient religious festival observed by Hindu women in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand, performed over four days to worship the Sun God. The rituals include holy bathing, fasting, and presenting offerings to the rising and setting sun. While celebrations have begun, there are restrictions in place in light of the Covid2019 pandemic. Several states have prohibited community gatherings and taking a dip in water bodies to prevent spread of the infection. Since the festival can’t be observed with its usual verve, Bhojpuri channels are seizing the opportunity to connect with their core consumers and engage them in the region’s biggest celebration from the safety of their homes.

    Colors Marathi

    Colors Marathi is all set to treat its viewers during the festive season with the debut of two new shows.

    Sukhi Mansacha Sadara will launch on 25 October with a special episode and will air every Monday to Saturday at 9:30 pm. This will be followed by the second new show on 11 November, titled Chandra Ahe Sakshila. To celebrate Dussehra, the channel has come up with Aaj Kay Special.

     

     

    Colors Tamil

    Colors Tamil has launched an all new mini-series, Nalam Tharum Navarathri. It features orator-author Sumathi Sri sharing facts and interesting stories about the rituals followed throughout the nine-days of the Navarathri festival in Tamil Nadu. The series will air from 17 October to 26 October 2020, at 7:30 am, and each episode will take the audience on a divine journey by unearthing legends about the nine forms of Goddess Devi.

    The channel welcomed the festive season by introducing Bhojpuri dandiya show Ding Dong Dandiya. Regarded as the first Navratra original in the region, it is slated to telecast for nine-days from 17 October, at 5 pm, and culminate on 25 October 2020. Encouraging viewers to stay indoors, the channel has organised a digital Kajri Utsav on BIG Ganga’s Facebook page to celebrate the deep rooted festival of the region which celebrates the most romantic aspects   like love and rain in an enticing cultural musical way. The two hours digital folk music show will go FB live on Raksha Bandhan this August 3 and will also be telecast on television later.

    Originating from Uttar Pradesh and Bhojpur region Kajri is a very popular form of folk music sung in the deep pockets of these regions. It is often used to describe the longing of a maiden for her lover as the black monsoon cloud come hanging in the summer skies, and the style is notably sung during the rainy season. Catering to audience across all age groups, the show will keep the viewers entertained with a digital musical show where Ajit Anand, a celebrated folk singer and presenter of the region will engage viewers while hosting the show along with Devi, another popular, deep rooted singer and performer from the region.     NEW DELHI: Entertaining the masses with its diverse content, Big Ganga, ZEE Entertainment Enterprise Limited’s Bhojpuri General Entertainment Channel brings to its viewers yet another interesting offering. Catering to the rising appetite for immersive content amongst their Bhojpuri-speaking audience, the channel is all set to launch one of the most popular shows of ZEE TV – Woh Apna Sa. Personalizing the show as per the needs of its audience, the channel will be renaming it as “Kehu Aapan Ba” while dubbing the show in Bhojpuri. Starting from 27 July, the show will be telecast every Monday to Saturday at 6 pm. 

    Offering viewers the best of both worlds in the form of drama and romance, the high octane show, based in Mumbai, is filled with layers of twists and turns which will make viewers glued to their seats throughout. It’s the story of Aditya who is in a troubled marriage with his wife Nisha with whom he has two daughters. Nisha, on the other hand, is nothing but selfish, evil and self centered who can go to any extent for her benefit including putting her daughters in danger. Since, this side of Nisha is a well-guarded secret, Aditya’s family thinks highly of Nisha leaving him with no choice but to stay with her. The turmoil in Aditya’s life ends when the protaganist Jhanvi enters and changes his life for good as they both disclose Nisha’s true colours. But the problems doesn’t stop here for Aditya and Jhanvi as they have to tackle many challenges, the biggest one being Nisha. The romantic drama, that featured talented actors, Disha Parmar, Sudeep Sahir and Riddhi Dogra, was a huge hit and aims to repeat the same success in the Bhojpuri-speaking market as well.
