    Sripriya has about 19 years of recruiting experience beginning with Accenture, joining BigFM for more than six years. She settled down at recruitment ABC Consultants for more 17 years according to her Linkedin profile. And then came her move to Spotify India where she helped the organisation grow its talent pool.

    Said the commerce graduate and post-graduate diploma holder in HR:  “My Spotify wrapped snapshot in the last 2.7 years says, innumerable memories, relentless hours of work and play, building some of the best teams and working amongst them and above all learning from the best!     Mumbai: It’s a sound decision. The Hockey India League (HIL) has got into bed with  Big FM for the 2024-25 season as the official radio partner. This partnership seeks to connect hockey with millions of fans and amplify the message of #IndiaKaGame throughout the nation.

    A press release states that the HIL  kicks off on 28 December 2024, featuring an exciting lineup of eight men’s teams and four women’s teams competing in Rourkela and Ranchi. Notably, this season also marks the debut of the Women’s Hockey India League, reinforcing Hockey India’s commitment to inclusivity and the empowerment of women in sports.

    BIG FM COO Sunil Kumaran highlighted that hockey holds a special place in the hearts of millions. “This collaboration reflects our commitment to spreading awareness about the sport’s legacy and significance.     Mumbai: Big FM has triumphantly concluded its transformative campaign ‘Bano India Ke Angdaata’, becoming the first radio network to champion organ donation on a national scale. Reaching over 200,000 individuals, the initiative inspired thousands to pledge their support, spreading a powerful message of hope and compassion across the country.

    At the heart of the campaign were Big FM RJs, including RJ Vrajesh Hirjee, RJ Akriti, RJ Sangram, and others, who not only championed the cause but also pledged to become organ donors themselves. Held on 29 September 2024, at Taj Vivanta in Dwarka, New Delhi, the event celebrated the exceptional leaders and visionaries who have significantly contributed to the growth and development of the real estate sector in India.     Mumbai: As the entire nation celebrates the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, BIG FM, one of India’s leading radio networks, marks the 17th edition of its highly acclaimed initiative – BIG Green Ganesha. Launched in 2008, this purpose-driven campaign has been continuously evolving, promoting environmental awareness and encouraging communities to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi responsibly. This year, BIG FM, in association with the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) and powered by Re Sustainability and Recycling Private Limited, is making eco-friendly and plastic-free celebrations even more accessible, further solidifying its role in driving sustainable festivities for a cleaner, greener tomorrow.

    The radio network will be unveiling a special BIG Green Ganesha song performed by the renowned singer Akriti Kakar, adding a festive and musical touch that inspires listeners to embrace sustainable practices. Celebrities like Rajkummar Rao, Patralekha, Sunny Leone, Esha Deol and Palak Muchhal amongst others are supporting the cause, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly celebrations nationwide.

    A key highlight of this year’s campaign has been the recognition of ‘Green Heroes,’ individuals who are taking significant steps to adopt and promote eco-friendly practices during Ganesh Chaturthi. Over 10 days, BIG FM’s RJ Rani has been spotlighting these champions by visiting them at their homes, presenting each with an eco-friendly Ganesha idol and a green certificate to honour their commitment to sustainability. These Green Heroes have also been sharing their inspiring stories on air, motivating others to follow in their footsteps.

    Mumbai: Post-pandemic, India has witnessed a significant decline in organ donations nationwide. To address this cause, BIG FM, one of India’s leading radio networks, is launching its purpose-led campaign, ‘Bano India Ke Ang Daata’, aimed at inspiring and encouraging organ donations across India. Building on the success of the ‘Bano Mumbai Ke Ang Daata’ and ‘Ghar Ghar Ang Daata’ campaigns that were launched in Mumbai over the past two years, the initiative is now expanding nationwide intending to achieve maximum registrations.

    The campaign will be hosted on all 58 BIG FM stations by its prominent RJs, including RJ Vrajesh Hirjee from Mumbai, RJ Akriti from Delhi, RJ Sangram from Pune, RJ Nayana from Mangalore, RJ Uday from Goa and RJ Juhie from Jammu. Notably, these RJs have already pledged to be organ donors, demonstrating their commitment to this cause. The six-week campaign will feature a mix of on-air and on-ground activities designed to ensure the message of organ donation reaches every individual in a meaningful way. On-air initiatives will include RJ advocacy, patient and donor stories, interactive polls and insightful interactions with celebrities, influencers, doctors and health experts. Additionally, a special song to raise awareness among citizens has also been created by renowned Bollywood playback singer-songwriter Aaman Trikha.

    The radio network has also partnered with the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO), a leading authority under the Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The campaign will mobilise RJs to advocate for organ donation registration and create awareness for obtaining donor cards with the help of NOTTO, regional and state authorities, as well as influential individuals and community leaders. Furthermore, BIG FM teams will engage audiences directly through on-ground activities, visiting Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) and corporate offices to encourage future organ donation via impactful street plays (Nukkad Natak).

    Talking about the campaign, BIG FM COO Sunil Kumaran expressed, “After the overwhelming success of our last two campaigns in Mumbai, we are now scaling up by taking this initiative ‘Bano India Ke Ang Daata’ nationwide.     Mumbai: In a heartfelt tribute to the valiant soldiers of India, BIG FM, one of the leading radio networks in the country, marked the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas with its initiative ‘Mera Dil Kargil’. Engaging listeners across the country, BIG FM has been undertaking significant efforts each year by paying homage to the courage, valour and sacrifices made during Operation Vijay in 1999. This year’s campaign honors the milestone anniversary of the extraordinary bravery and determination of the Indian soldiers who fought in the Kargil War. BIG FM RJs – RJ Pihu and RJ Anshuman visited the Kargil War Memorial in Drass where they provided live updates, honouring war heroes, veer naaris (brave widows) and war veterans. Their stories were narrated and broadcasted through live connections with RJs across the radio network’s key stations.

    The Kargil War, characterised by its challenging terrain and extreme altitudes, witnessed unparalleled heroism of Indian soldiers. As part of the celebrations of the momentous occasion, BIG FM gave listeners an opportunity to participate in this tribute with shows like ‘Shaurya Gaathayein’ (stories of bravery) of Kargil Vijay and interviews of war veterans across stations. Listeners conveyed their wishes for soldiers and their families through messages, songs, poetry and more.
