    MUMBAI: Week 51 saw Viacom 18’s Nick staying strong in its top position as per Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India’s all India (U+R) data in NCCS All 4-14 Individuals category.

    The channel has bagged a  70721 (000s sums) ratings, followed by Turner International’s Cartoon Network with 57813 (000s sums) and Pogo TV on the third spot with 51805 (000s sums) ratings.

    Disney’s Hungama  was on the fourth spot with a viewership rating of 50659(000s sums), while Disney Channel itself came last amongst the five most watched channels in the genre with a rating of 38153 (000s sums).

    When it comes to top five programs in the kids genre,Hungama’s Doraemon The Movie stole the show with a rating of 563 (000s sums) closely followed by Mighty Raju Chhutti Ho Gayi  with  478 (000s sums) ratings.

    MUMBAI: Regional channels continued to hold their leadership position in their respective genres in week 51 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India ratings.

    Star Jalsha maintained its top slot and led the Bangla genre, while in Bhojpuri GECs, Bhojpuri Cinema continued to lead the chart.

    Colors Kannada, Asianet, Zee Marathi, Sarthak TV, Sun TV and Maa TV too continued to lead their respective genres in week 51.

    Bangla GECs

    Star Jalsha led the genre with 267162 (000Sums) followed by Zee Bangla in the second spot with 165155 (000Sums) and Jalsha Movies in the third spot with 79535 (000Sums). Zee Bangla Cinema and Colors Bangla grabbed the fourth and fifth slot with 35241 (Sums) and 31634 (000Sums) respectively.

    Bhojpuri GECs

    In the Bhojpuri GECs section, Bhojpuri Cinema continued to lead the genre with 15820 (000Sums) followed by Big Magic Ganga on second spot with 12279 (000Sums) and Dabangg in the third spot with 6809 (000Sums).

    Dangal TV stood in the fourth position with 6579 (000Sums) and ETV Bihar Jharkhand was in the fifth place with 2740 (000Sums).

    Kannada GECs

    Colors Kannada continued to lead the Kannada GECs genre and was in the first position with 268806 (000Sums) followed by Udaya Movies in the second slot with 141118 (000Sums). On the other hand, Udaya TV stood in the third position with 140356 (000Sums).

    Zee Kannada bagged the fourth position with 136734 (000Sums) and Suvarna stood at number five with 132432 (000Sums).

    Malayalam GECs

    Asianet led the genre and came out on top with 273833 (000Sums) followed by Mazhavil Manorama in the second position with 158167 (000Sums) and Surya in the third spot with 114628 (000Sums). Flower TV grabbed the fourth spot with 87234 (000Sums) and Kiran TV stood at the fifth position with 52646 (000Sums).

    Marathi GECs

    In week 51, Zee Marathi maintained its top position with 152099 (000Sums). Zee Talkies grabbed the second slot with 82426 (000Sums) and Colors Marathi stood at number three with 77862 (000Sums). Star Pravah garnered the fourth slot with 34825 (000Sums) and Maiboli was at number five with 24315 (000Sums).

    Oriya GECs

    Sarthak TV secured the leadership position in the genre with 111015 (000Sums) followed by Tarang TV in the second spot with 70120 (000Sums), while Colors Oriya came third with 18725 (000Sums). Odisha TV with 14823 (000Sums) and Alankar with 10579 (000Sums) grabbed fourth and fifth berth respectively.

    Tamil GECs

    Sun TV continued to lead the Tamil regional channel genre with 1042599 (000Sums) followed by KTV with 325553 (000Sums) in the second spot. Star Vijay with 214321 (000Sums) stood in the third position. Polimer grabbed the fourth spot with 107967 (000Sums), whereas Kalaignar TV with 84670 (000Sums) grabbed the fifth spot.

    Telugu GECs

    Maa TV in the Telugu GECs genre grabbed the first spot with 384977 (000Sums) and was followed by ETV Telugu in second spot with 384816 (000Sums). Zee Telugu trailed behind with 314851 (000Sums) in the third position. Gemini TV with 307265 (000Sums) and Gemini Movies with 196697 (000Sums) bagged the fourth and fifth place respectively.

    MUMBAI: With a rise in ratings, Sun TV continues to lead across genres and becomes the highest gainer in the list while all Hindi general entertainment channel (GECs) including Colors, Star Plus, Zee TV and Life OK witnessed a fall in ratings in week 51 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India ratings.

    Sun TV garnered the first spot with 1089988 (000Sums) followed by Colors, which saw a drop in ratings but secured the second position with 766353 (000Sums) as against 768239 (000Sums) in week 50.

    Star Plus in the third place also witnessed a drop and received 732209 (000Sums) against 759484 (000Sums) in the previous week.

    Though Zee TV saw a decline in ratings, it managed to grab the fourth place with 720437 (000Sums) as against 733866 (000Sums) followed by Zee Network’s FTA channel Zee Anmol, which slipped down at number five with 713998 (000Sums).  

    Star India’s FTA channel Star Ustav stood at number six with 516870 (000Sums) followed by Life OK in the seventh spot with 450765 (000Sums) against 509538 (000Sums) in week 50.

    From the tenth spot, Maa TV managed to climb up at number eight with 409981 (000Sums) followed by Sony Max in the ninth berth with 409006 (000Sums) and ETV Telugu fell down to the tenth slot from the eighth position with 406176 (000Sums).

    MUMBAI: The battle for the top slot amongst the Hindi general entertainment channels (GECs) has opened up like never before. Every week with the spin of the wheel, a new triumphant winner comes up. The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India’s top spot in the Hindi GEC category has become a race between three key players namely Star Plus, Colors and the free-to-air (FTA) channel Zee Anmol.

    After toppling Star Plus in week 50 to become the number two channel in the Hindi GECs, Colors has now staked its claim on the No. 1 slot in week 51 after toppling Zee Anmol from its leadership position.

    Dethroning Zee Anmol, Colors bagged the leadership position with 725881 (000Sums). While Zee Anmol was pushed to the second slot with 712825 (000Sums), Star Plus witnessed a fall in ratings but managed to grab the third slot with 676890 (000Sums) against 707219 (000Sums) in week 50.

    Zee TV grabbed the fourth spot on the chart with 669655 (000Sums) followed by Star Ustav on the fifth spot with 514354 (000Sums), while Life OK was in sixth place with 437469 (000Sums).

    Sony Entertainment Television with 342689 (000Sums) stood at number seven.

    With no change in last three position Sab TV with 323214 (000Sums), Rishtey with 286712 (000Sums) and Sony Pal with 239700 (000Sums) bagged the eighth, ninth and tenth spots respectively.
