    YRF partners Snapdeal to launch home decor merchandise

    MUMBAI: Yash Raj Films (YRF) has launched its latest official Home Décor Merchandise Collection on Snapdeal.

     

    Snapdeal will now showcase ‘The BollyHome Project’ by YRF featuring more than 100 products including cushion covers, bean bags, stationary products, posters, coffee mugs and a host of other home décor products.

     

    The collection is inspired by YRF classics such as Silsila, Dil To Pagal Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge as well as recent hits like Rocket Singh, Band Baaja Baaraat and Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The products will be featured on the dedicated YRF store on Snapdeal (http://yrf.snapdeal.com/).

    MUMBAI: Max, the premium Hindi movies and special events channel brings to you a heart-warming, slice-of-life love story with its television premiere of ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ on Saturday, 11 July at 8 pm and on Sunday, 12 July at 1pm.

     

    Produced by Band Baaja Baaraat director Maneesh Sharma and written and directed by Sharat Katariya, ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ is a YRF banner film that brings alive the little pleasures & pains of life in this unconventional yet adorable love story. Featuring Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles, the light hearted drama set in the mid-1990s tells the tale of a mismatch couple who are on an expedition to find love and happiness despite the odds.

     

    Commenting on playing the role of a diffident school dropout ‘Prem Prakash Tiwari’ in Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Ayushmann Khurana said, “It was a very real film and there was a brief from Sharat Katariya (director) to only react to situations. We were not supposed to act. It was very situation-based and we all played rooted characters.”

    MUMBAI: Doodle Collection has inked a licensing deal with Yash Raj Films Licensing to launch a limited edition range of diaries inspired from some of the studio’s films.

     

    Doodle Collection’s limited edition range of YRF diaries celebrate cinema and Bollywood in its most colourful, creative and quirky form. The diaries are inspired by YRF movies across genres – from the classic KabhiKabhie to the modern and spunky Band Baaja Baaraat. The typographic designs are inspired from Rocket Singh Salesman of the Year and Chak De! India.

     

    The highlight of the collection is the diary inspired by the cult hit DilwaleDulhania Le Jayenge.

    The diaries are available on the Doodle Collection website and at stationery retailers like Landmark and Crossword along with online portals like Flipkart, Amazon and Fashionara.
