    Tata Sky Fun Learn premieres Baahubali: The Lost Legends – S04 for the first time on Television

    The magnum opus Baahubali, which crashed box office records, was later turned into a multi-episode animated series titled – Baahubali: The Lost Legends by SS Rajamouli, creator of the original Baahubali movies. Tata Sky, India’s leading content distribution platform for the first time on Indian television presents Baahubali: The Lost Legends S04 produced by Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks on Tata Sky Fun Learn. This animated series will be available in both English and Hindi.

    Filled with intrigue, war, action, and adventure, this season showcases, Mahishmati and its protectors face their greatest challenge as they find themselves, the targets of a mysterious new force, seeking revenge on the legendary kingdom. The season also features never-before-revealed stories about the characters from the film, including Prince Baahubali, Bhallaladeva, Kattappa, and Sivagami. Thereby introducing new characters and expanding the world of Baahubali.

  • Colors to air animated series ‘Baahubali: The Lost Legends’

    MUMBAI: Colors has announced the acquisition of the broadcast satellite rights to the animated series spin-off called, Baahubali: The Lost Legends.

    The animated series which features all new original stories of the magnum opus from acclaimed filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks is slated for a television launch on Colors soon.

    Commenting on the procurement of the rights, Viacom18 COO Raj Nayak said, “Baahubali has proved to be a landmark film in the history of Indian cinema. Its success is nothing short of a case study for the Indian filmmakers. We at Colors pride ourselves for knowing the pulse of our viewers. Going by the ripples that this masterpiece has generated nationwide, we thought this was the right time to bring to our television audiences the folklores of ‘Baahubali’ which have been captured stunningly in this animated series.”

    He further added, “Graphic India’s show has tremendous appeal amongst the viewers as it cuts across age groups and stands out in the cluttered environment. Baahubali with its storyline and characters has created an entire ecosystem that can translate beyond the silver screen and make for excellent content in other mediums. The animated version is just an attempt towards that direction and we’re sure it will mesmerize the TV viewers.”

    Baahubali: The Lost Legends has been created by S.S. Rajamouli, Sharad Devarajan and Arka Mediaworks, who are the producers, along with series lead writer, Ashwin Pande and Jeevan J. Kang, Graphic’s EVP Creative and the lead character designer for the new animated series.

    On this partnership said celebrated director, S. S. Rajamouli, “The reach of television as a medium in India is extraordinary, and we’re thrilled to partner with Raj Nayak and Colors to bring the untold stories of the Mahishmati Kingdom to the television audiences. Our creation of the series with Graphic India and Sharad Devarajan was formed on the idea that we could launch an animated series that would go beyond just kids.     NEW DELHI: The magnum opus ‘Baahubali’, a film that earned over Rs 6000 million in worldwide box office collections, is now being turned into a new multi-episode animated series titled – “Baahubali: The Lost Legends”.

    This was announced by Amazon Prime Video which has tied up wth acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli, Graphic India and Arka Mediaworks.

    “S.S. Rajamouli is one of the most visionary movie minds in current times and we are thrilled to have him launch this exclusive series, Baahubali: The Lost Legends,” said Amazon Prime Video India Director and Country Head Nitesh Kripalani in a statement, adding, “The animation series will allow our customers to discover hidden stories and legends from the Baahubali world. And now for the first time, customers can watch the exclusive trailer first on www.Amazon.in”

    “What we managed to showcase in the film was just the tip of the iceberg,” said director Rajamouli. “From the minute I started working on this story, I knew the world of ‘Baahubali’ cannot be encompassed into a film or two, simply because there is so much more to tell and animation is another way to do that.”

Two brothers competing to rule the greatest kingdom of its age and the epic adventures they must endure to prove they are worthy to one day wear the crown. Under the watchful eye of Sivagami, and the warrior Katappa, one shall rise to be King of the throne, while the other shall become King of the people.

    The animated series will feature new, never before revealed stories about the characters from the film including Prince Baahubali, Bhallaladeva, Kattapa and Sivagami as well as dozens of new characters that will expand the world of Baahubali and reveal hidden secrets for millions of fans, an official statement stated.
