He brings with him rich experience of understanding brand marketing needs & creating optimised content solutions. His last stint was with Times Internet Ltd as National Manager – Spotlight (Languages), where he was leading content solutions on the 8 languages platform. Prior to that he has worked with dynamic & new age media companies like Pocket Aces, Worldwide Media (BCCL Group), The Walt Disney Company India, Ibibo & INX News

    Mumbai: Muneet Pal Singh joins B4U Network as as NORTH & EAST BRANCH HEAD, comes with around 20 years of rich experience in the media industry with extensive exposure across multiple sectors, including print, media, events, and advertising sales. He has worked with renowned companies like Goldmines, Times of India, Zee Network, Viacom, and Sony.

    Muneet played a pivotal role in establishing the northern business for Goldmines Telefilms and contributed significantly to scaling business operations at Pen Music Channel in his last assignment.

    Pawan Sharma formerly the CRO of the network has been elevated to the position of “Business Head – Broadcasting Revenue, Marketing & Programming”.

    In his new role, Sharma will be responsible for Television Broadcasting Revenue, Marketing & Programming. The senior leaders of Television Sales & Programming team will be directly reporting to Pawan Kumar Sharma.

    Johnson Jain has joined as chief revenue officer (CRO).

    In the current scenario, when people everywhere are grappling with disastrous effects of the pandemic, any kind of celebration is always welcome! Undoubtedly, the past few months proved to be a nightmare that challenged people both emotionally and psychologically. Keeping this in mind, the HR department of the B4U Network invited its employees to celebrate International Yoga Day, World Music Day, and International Father’s Day. The department took initiatives to arrange several webinars on the occasion of all three events to give their employees and colleagues a relief from the monotonous life that they are surrounded with. Since offices are closed off and employees are working from home, these webinars were conducted virtually.

    First and foremost, a 5-day Yoga challenge was arranged for the internal employees, from 15 June -19 June. Also, special sessions were held by their wellness spocs under the observation of experienced and renowned trainers. Music helps heal mind and soul and therefore, on 21st June, B4U Network celebrated World Music day by arranging an exclusive webinar for its employees to experience a wonderful musical evening of live Antakshari. Along with that, the Network also celebrated International Father’s Day to appreciate and thank them for their sacrifices and unconditional love. Further, the Network’s HR department arranged an exclusive webinar session for its employees on “Co-Parenting” and also held a session on “Parenting Tips during Lockdown” on 22nd June. These initiatives aimed to revitalize their employees and give them an out from their stress.

    Talking about the sessions, the HR Head of B4U Network, Priyanka Bhushan says that, “This is a stressful situation which is taking a toll on everyone. B4U cares for the holistic well-being of employees. Due to the current pandemic and the multiple after effects it is leaving behind, we at B4U felt the need to address these concerns in a holistic and immediate manner. To this end, we had a week long celebration including International Yoga Day, Father’s Day, World Music Day and a spectrum of employee connect activities like Yoga, Co-Parenting workshops, Antakshri all aimed at enabling employees and their families to be in the prime of health and well-being. This is a difficult time, and we want our employees to know that we are facing this crisis as a united front.”

    MUMBAI: B4U Network, popularly known for its Bollywood Music and Movie channels, recently launched B4U Kadak as its premium offering in the Hindi Movie Genre & B4U Bhojpuri in the Bhojpuri Movie Genre.     MUMBAI: On the occasion of completing over 18 years,B4U Network pledged 30,000 meals throughits partner NGO Rise Against Hunger India (RAHI)where they joined forces in the fight against hunger on 14th December, 2018. Over 150 employees of B4U gathered together to pack 30,000 nutritious meals in 5000 meal packets for the impoverished & undernourished children.

    B4U’s flagship music channel B4U Music pegged the theme for this year’s event “Music is food for the soul”hence the thought of nourishing 30000 underprivileged children by pledging nutritious meals as the networks Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. These food packs would be further distributed to 3 NGO’s; AIDS Combat International, Rotary Club Worlifor a school they have adopted in Karjat,Friendship Centre India – Home for Orphan and single parent children.

    The CSR activity resulted in a team bonding atmosphere and camaraderie among the team. Here the entire set-up resembled Henry Ford’s Assembly line functioning where the participants were divided into 10 teams which had a similar set-up of Dal, Rice, Dry vegetables and vitamin sachet in a single pack. Besides the 10 teams which were into packing the khichadi meals there were teams which delivered food to the tables as re-fills, a team which took the packed boxes to the truck and the team which helped in giving instructions.

    Along with a sense of fulfilment & gratitude for a social cause the employees also felt a sense of ownership, co-operation and camaraderie with their fellow colleagues. The event further extended into a rewards and recognition felicitation followed by a DJ party where the team let their hair down.

B4U Network with its 2 channels B4u Music & B4u Movies has always influenced its strong base of over 168 million viewers in urban & rural hindi speaking markets with entertaining bollywood music and movies content. Banking of its high reach and influence among viewers the networks channels have taken up four causes with the intent of spreading awareness, sensitizing, supporting and bringing change in the society at large through the medium of television starting from 1st December through this entire month.

    Causes around four diverse topics have been taken up in the same month directing viewer’s attention to different issues and causes around the below days:

    1st December, 2018 – World Aids Day

    B4U Music & Movies have launched promos on high frequency raising awareness for the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection, with focus on “SAFE SEX” through a series of quirky promos which are suggestive to use of condoms for the prevention of AIDS. With B4U’s reach, popularity and ardent fan following amongst the youth audience these promotions would drive awareness and reinforce the message of safe sex for all genders across India.

    3rd December, 2018 – International Day of Disabled Persons

    The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

    To get this message across the promo’s give tribute to disabled musical instrument players with intercuts of his remarkable journey of learning the musical instrument despite his disability. This is followed by the message: “B4U salutes the indomitable human spirit”.

    4th December, 2018 – Navy Day

    Supporting India’s defense forces and saluting them for their dedication in protecting the water bodies, Navy day would be celebrated on 4 December to celebrate the achievements and role of the naval force to the country and to give respect to our naval force.

    B4U would will create interesting promotional trivia about Indian Navy and Navy Day. The slate will have images of Indian navy warships, submarines, navy officers at duty, the Navy and national emblem etc.

    11th December, 2018 – International Mountains Day

    Celebrated to encourage the international community to organize events at all levels to highlight the importance of sustainable mountain development. Using graphic vignettes 45-60 seconds B4U would talk about different Bollywood movies and songs which have used mountains as a picturesque backdrop in their narrative which would help in promoting the importance of sustainable development through this entertaining medium. Interesting anecdotes from the shooting of the films and songs will also be shared in these vignettes

    to build alliances that will bring positive change to mountain peoples and environments around the world.

    The communication campaign & promos are scripted, directed and produced by B4U’s internal creative team. The promos are designed to be smart, quirky and minimalistic so that they break clutter at the same time trigger change in society during the last month of the year.
