    Titan eyewear brings Ayushmann Khurrana on board as brand ambassador

    MUMBAI: Titan’s eyewear business announces celebrated actor and national award winner Ayushmann Khuranna as the new brand ambassador. Khuranna will be endorsing all the three categories frames, sunglasses, and lenses and feature in upcoming multi-media campaigns for Titan frames and sunglasses.

    Commenting on this development, Titan CEO eyewear division Ronnie Talati said, “Titan as a brand and eyewear as a category caters to consumers from 6 to 60 years age bracket and represents a grounded, inclusive and pioneering persona. Given this context, there could not have been a better ambassador to personify Titan’s Eyewear business than Ayushmann Khurrana.”

    MUMBAI: The Film and Television Producers Guild of India has announced the 11 edition of the Renault Sony Guild Film Awards. The Guild constitutes of the most influential luminaries in cinema who select winners, making it one of the most credible and much revered accolades. The extravaganza will unfold with New Year Celebrations in January and will be broadcast exclusively on Sony Entertainment Television.

     

    Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Ayushmann Khuranna, Kriti Sanon and Sonakshi Sinha feature among other star performers who will set the stage on fire with one incredible act after another. After a successful hosting stint last year, television’s superstar comedian Kapil Sharma will don the host’s hat once again and entertain audiences with his unbeatable comic timing.

    Commando gives Nautanki Saala a tough fight

    MUMBAI: Ayushmann Khuranna and Kunal Roy Kapoor starrer ‘dramedy‘ Nautanki Saala has collected Rs 115 million in its first weekend. The film continues to do well at select multiplexes even as it finds little support at single screens.

    Vidyut Jamwal starrer Commando, being an out and out action film, has done well at single screens all over while not finding much support at multiplexes. The film collected Rs 111.5 million in its first weekend.

    The remake of Chashme Baddoor, by the same name, remained steady in its first week after taking a decent second weekend to end with figures of Rs 305.5 million.

    Himmatwala showed a drastic drop in its second week adding just Rs 58 million in its second week, taking its two week total to Rs 425.5 million.

    Jolly LLB has collected Rs eight million for its fourth week to take its four week tally to Rs 310 million. Mere Dad Ki Maruti has collected Rs 4 million taking its four week total to Rs 117 million.
