    MUMBAI: Aviva Life Insurance has launched a new brand campaign Hello, Life. Hello, Aviva. The campaign reaches out to everyone with a clear message to welcome life with all its surprises, detours, challenges. The campaign emanates from Aviva India’s new brand purpose, i.e., “With you today, for a better tomorrow” and emphasizes the fact that Aviva enables customers to be prepared for a better, brighter and more prosperous future. And this further reassures customers that as a trusted partner, Aviva is proud to stand with them in their time of need.
    According to the FY18 annual report by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), at 3.69 per cent, the insurance penetration in India continues to be one of the lowest globally. Aviva India’s new campaign, Hello, Life.Hello Aviva engages with millennials to help them understand the purpose of life insurance cover and, thus to help them start their financial journey. The campaign is aimed at inspiring people to have a good financial plan in order to make every kind of dream a reality, whether it is a child’s education or marriage, one’s own retirement or aged parents’ security, or even growing one’s own business and more.

    The 360-degree campaign has been conceptualized and created in partnership with Creativeland Asia, the on-record creative agency for Aviva India. So far, the campaign has witnessed on Aviva’s owned social media channels, i.e., Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram along with OOH and radio, etc.

    Mumbai: Aviva Life Insurance, India’s most trusted private insurance company, has signed up Creativeland Asia as its integrated creative agency. The mandate for Creativeland Asia’s NCR office will include brand strategy, creative and digital communication. Creativeland Asia got on board following a multi-agency pitch.

    Aviva India appoints Ali Onder Lulu as chief distribution officer

    MUMBAI: Aviva Life Insurance has announced the appointment of Ali Onder Lulu to the position of chief distribution officer for the brand’s India business based out of the company’s Gurgaon HQ. In his role, Lulu will oversee the company’s multiple customer touchpoints through its varied distribution challenges both for individual and corporate customers. He will lead the company’s strategic organic growth plans.

    Aviva India MD and CEO Trevor Bull said, “Ali has wide-ranging industry experience across many areas of the business but particularly sales and customer care.     Lulu is an industry veteran with an experience of over 22 years. In the past, he has been associated with the Insurance Group of Sabanci Conglomerate. Under his aegis, AkEmeklilik, a pension and life company was introduced in 2003. Further, he played an instrumental role in establishing AvivaSA Life and Pension company in 2007.

    Vivek Khanna becomes Group CEO at India Today

    NEW DELHI: Vivek Khanna, former chief executive officer of Hindustan Media Ventures, has come on board the India Today Group as its Group CEO. He will report to vice chairperson Kalli Purie, who recently announced the growth of the group by launching seven mobile channels.

    The news was announced to the employees by group chairman and editor-in-chief Aroon Purie in an internal communication this morning: “I am excited about Vivek joining us. With his background plus track record and our bench strength, I am confident he will bring structure, process discipline and marketing muscle to our creative genius so we can scale new heights. In all of you, I know I have the best team in the industry which makes me so proud. Now with the new leadership in place, I look forward to a year of exponential growth.”

    Purie added that “Apart from his strategic thinking and marketing expertise, I have selected Vivek because he is a ‘people’ person. He has an inclusive style of leadership, works hard and with passion, is goal oriented, pays attention to details, and builds teams.     Vivek comes with 26 years of solid experience in strategy, sales, and marketing. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, Vivek began his career with Hindustan Unilever and Aviva Life Insurance. He moved to HT Media in 2008. Since 2013, he has been the CEO of Hindustan Media Ventures.

    Aroon Purie said Vivek’s most impressive accomplishments include the turnaround of HT products and brands. Last year, Hindustan Media Ventures was ranked amongst the top five fastest growing listed companies in India. He grew the advertising revenue of Hindustan by 14 per cent between 2013 and 2016; this was 4-10 per cent faster than competition.

    Operating EBITDA grew at more than 30 per cent per annum in this period. Circulation of the newspaper increased by over 30 per cent. The top line increased from Rs 6 billion to Rs 10 billion and the company’s market cap doubled to over Rs 20 billion.
