MUMBAI: With racing mania at it’s peak, a garment exporter has bagged the mandate of selling Michael Schumacher official licensed products in India. Fusion International, a company promoted by Shishir Goenka, has tied up with a German-based company called MBA and will import the products from German.
Speaking to indiantelevision.com, Goenka says: “We finalised the licencing deal in October 2002. We have a production centre in Mumbai and will soon appoint dealers and distributors in the entire country. The product will be available in all the major metros.”
The official Michael Schumacher range of merchandise is priced between Rs 250 to Rs 2,450. It consists of T-shirts (Rs 975 – Rs 1,975), caps (Rs 1,375- Rs 1,700), jackets (Rs 2,450), mobile phone covers (Rs 1,250), team flags (Rs 1,100), key chains (Rs 360), mugs (Rs 280) and more.
In Mumbai, the products are being currently retailed through Satyam Collections. Special promotions will be conducted on website – www.f1clothingindia.com.
