    GREY Group merges with Autumn Grey

    MUMBAI: GREY, one of India’s leading creative agencies has merged with AutumnGrey – a digital/data companies. The company has announced a new structure and go to market strategy in India. Autumn Grey CEO Anusha Shetty, a digital-first leader & trailblazer, has been appointed as GREY Group India’s chairman & group CEO. 

    Shetty is known for her relentless passion in developing and driving client business. Under her leadership, Autumn Grey has delivered several ground-breaking and award-winning online and digital campaigns that have firmly established Autumn Grey as one of India’s premier digital agencies. Her leadership and management skills, along with her digital knowledge are second to none.

    With more than 20 years of marketing and advertising experience, and a career spanning across India and Silicon Valley, Shetty has co-founded Autumn Worldwide, a hyper-specialised digital marketing firm with offerings such as digital creative outreach, big data listening & insights, business intelligence, online reputation management, command centre management, media planning and buying and technology development.

    Prior to this, Shetty has held progressive assignments in agencies like Lowe and Euro RSCG, working on multiple brands including Intel, Titan, Unilever, Honeywell, to name just a few.

    Shetty will work closely with Nirvik Singh to ensure a seamless transition of leadership as they combine the creative strength of GREY with data-driven digital solutions from Autumn Grey, to create a future-facing agency model and framework.

    Sandipan Bhattacharyya who has been promoted as the GREY Group India’s managing director (MD) & chief creative officer (CCO), has led the agency to win multiple lions at Cannes, India’s first D&AD Yellow Pencil in Design, a grand prix and over a dozen metals at spikes, Adfest, one show and several Effies. In addition, he has played a major creative role in all of the agency’s big business wins.

    The newly created role of the creative leader as MD signals GREY’s vision of putting creative front and centre of its growth story. As MD & CCO of GREY India, Bhattacharyya will be responsible for driving GREY’s mandate of famously effective work to the next level.

    GREY’s creative work is rooted in pop culture and under his leadership GREY has launched some of the most iconic campaigns in the last decade.

    Bhattacharyya has more than 20 years of experience in advertising, prior to GREY he has worked at BBDO India, Enterprise Nexus and Saatchi & Saatchi.

    HP India urges support for local artisans & street vendors

    MUMBAI: As part of HP India’s #TuJashnBan campaign, the tech company has launched a digital video on the occasion of Diwali, Umeed ka Diya.

    The video strikes an emotional chord to emphasise the need to buy products from local artisans and street vendors during Diwali. It resonates the message – “One small step taken by all of us can bring along a big difference in someone else’s Diwali” and encourages the viewers to support street vendors.

    The three-minute video created by Autumn Worldwide shows the story of a child’s genuine concern for a street vendor, ‘Amma’ whose efforts to sell ‘diyas’ is not receiving a good response. To help ‘Amma’, the child designs, prints posters with her image, with the help of HP notebook and printer, urging people to buy ‘diyas’ from her. This leads to increased footfall which helps ‘Amma’ to sell all her ‘diyas’. The necessity of a childlike innocence to help the local street vendors is marvellously captured in this short video.

    HP India is also putting concerted efforts to promote local street vendors by creating awareness through newspaper inserts, carrying their photo with the address. In addition to this, some of the major HP world stores will be lighted up by the ‘diyas’ purchased from street vendors.

    Speaking about the film and the larger thought ‘#TuJashnBan’, HP India country marketing director Neelima Burra says, “At HP India, we believe in giving back to the society, and Diwali is just the right festival for us to come up with this inspiring campaign; where technology acts as an enabler. It is heart-warming to see how a small act of empathy can have a positive impact on someone else’s life. We all should pledge to make this Diwali a brighter one for at least one street vendor out there.”

With this video, we wanted to highlight an emotional reason that can create a positive and tangible impact in people’s life.     The video released on various digital platforms of HP India has gone viral with over 2.3 million views and more than 60 thousand shares on HP India social platforms alone in just 2 days.

This campaign, however, goes away from the conventional routes.

    In a refreshing move, Luminous teamed up with renowned poet, lyricist and legend Gulzar to remind a country lost in the frenzy of bright lights and fireworks that at the end of the day the one thing that matters more than any other is the light in a person’s heart. In his own inimitable style and distinctive voice, Gulzar has brought out the message that only through the true light in our hearts, can we bring hope and happiness to the lives around us.
