    Asics SportStyle launches Gel-Nimbus 10.1 sneaker

    Mumbai: Asics SportStyle has launched the Gel-Nimbus 10.1 sneaker. It’s based on the original Gel-Nimbus 10 design from 2008 but reconfigured with an updated tooling system for everyday comfort.

    Iconic details, like the asymmetric paneling and open mesh construction from the model’s original design return on the upper. This design direction was originally meant to create a more accommodating fit and complement the foot’s natural bone structure. The quarter mesh application is also met with a seamless mesh panel that’s rendered with a unique geometric pattern.

    In the mid to late 2000s, Asics running shoes started using segmented midsole designs with industrial-like aesthetics. The tooling system for this sneaker retains this signature structure, featuring a dual-layer EVA foam, rearfoot and forefoot Gel technology inserts, and a Trusstic support unit. These elements help create a combination of cushioning and stability for better comfort in everyday scenarios.  

    The Gel-Nimbus 10.1 sneakers will be unveiled on Asics SportStyle online and in select stores for Rs 13,999.

    Mumbai: Asics SportStyle has brought back the Skyhand OG sneaker for the first time since 1994. The reimagined design updates the original Skyhand handball shoes with modern materials and cushioning for daily wear. Asics India brand ambassador Shraddha Kapoor showcases the collection, combining style and comfort.

    The shoes maintain their slim, low-profile aesthetic, now featuring Flytefoam propel cushioning and an EVA heel wedge for added comfort without losing their minimalist design. Available in two versions, one highlights synthetic leather with suede details, and the other features suede paired with synthetic leather accents. Priced between ₹8,999 and ₹9,999, they are now available in select stores and online.

    ASICS Sportstyle debuts the new GEL-Quantum 360 VIII sneaker

    Mumbai: ASICS SportStyle announces the launch of the GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII sneaker. This shoe’s design is meant to help support advanced comfort for active lifestyles and exploring urban environments. The design inspiration for this project stems from supernatural forms and interlocking structures.

    For the upper construction, the shoe features 5D print details that resemble ergonomic shapes from elements found in nature. These details add a greater amount of depth to give the design a more layered aesthetic.

    The sneaker’s midsole structure was formed with new technologies, like DIVISION SPACE cushioning. This cushioning technology is meant to lighten the shoe’s overall weight while providing more impact absorption underfoot. This feature is also met with FF BLAST™ BIO cushioning, which includes at least 20 per cent biomass to help reduce waste and promote better durability.

    The GEL-QUANTUM 360™ VIII sneaker launches today Tuesday, 11 June on ASICS SportStyle online and in select stores for Rs 13,999.
