    Aaj Tak reintroduces ‘Sahitya Aaj Tak’

    Mumbai: Aaj Tak is reintroducing its well-liked literary program, Sahitya Aaj Tak. The fifth edition of the show will take place at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi from 18 to 20 November after a three-year break caused by covid.

    Sahitya Aaj Tak is a unique occasion that connects people to the literary and cultural worlds. Aaj Tak conceptualised and created the three-day event, allowing attendees to interact with a wide range of top legendary talent under one roof while directly listening to, watching, and meeting celebrities from the literary, artistic, and cultural worlds. Sahitya Aaj Tak offers free admission.

    One such effort by Aaj Tak to help today’s youth and society better understand and connect with the world of Sahitya is this distinctive festival connecting various streams of Sahitya. The programme will feature authors, academics, composers, musicians, actors, columnists, business executives, poets, and theatre performers whose work has had a lasting impact on audiences.

    Artists will reunite this year on a single stage once more to introduce guests to their ideas, voices, and performances.

    Sahitya Aaj Tak is a forum where one can engage with authors and their works from all over India who have sparked their wanderlust while also challenging their minds with thought-provoking debates. Additionally, the event will include provocative conversations with notable leaders, novelty topics, and other topics. The addition of movie stars will energise an already impressive list of literary luminaries.

    Live performances by B Praak and Asees Kaur will adorn Sahitya Aaj Tak. Names of the other great personalities who will shine on the show’s stage this year are as follows:

    Zee Live announces fourth edition of ‘Arth – A Culture Fest’

    Mumbai: Zee Live, the live entertainment and IP vertical of Zee Entertainment Enterprises has announced the fourth edition of Arth – A Culture Fest. Celebrating 75 years of Indian independence, Arth will bring to its platform distinguished and globally acclaimed personalities to celebrate India’s rich culture and heritage.

    This season will witness intriguing discussions on Indian art, culture, cinema, sports, politics, and faith with eminent panelists such as Bharatiya Janata Party national vice president Baijayant Jay Panda,
    Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor and other noted personalities like Abhinav Prakash, Anand Ranganathan, Anupam Kher, Ashwin Sanghi, Avani Lekhara, Ekta Kapoor, Gautam Chikermane, Harsh Gupta Madhusudan, Hindol Sengupta, J Sai Deepak, Meenakshi Jain, Rahul Easwar, Rajat Sethi, Rajeev Mantri, Sanjeev Sanyal, Shefali Vaidya, Shubhrastha, Tusshar Kapoor, and Vivek Agnihotri, said the statement.

    This year’s edition will have topics like The evolution of Indian Cinema, Sports over the years: Cricket and beyond, Story of India’s national carrier: Air India, Indic spirituality and its role in keeping our civilization alive, and India’s role in current geopolitics etc.

    A special TV broadcast of Arth season 4 will be telecasted on close to 20 channels of Zeel including Zee TV, &TV, Zee Punjabi, Zee Marathi, Zee Café amongst others. It will showcase the brilliance of Indian culture and heritage through an ensemble of Indian dance, shayari by Kumar Vishwas, musical performances by Aman & Ayaan Ali Khan, B Praak and the team of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa.

    Travelling to Kolkata and Delhi the first three seasons of Arth saw the presence of eminent leaders and speakers like union home minister Amit Shah, minister of road transport and highways of India Nitin Gadkari, union minister for women and child development Smriti Irani, and other noted personalities like Subramanian Swamy, Asaduddin Owaisi, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Gaur Gopal Das, Imtiaz Ali, Raveena Tandon, and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.

    The previous editions also hosted eminent personalities from the media and advertising fraternity like Piyush Pandey and Prasoon Joshi. Manoj Muntashir, Amish Tripathi, Aanchal Malhotra, Ruskin Bond, Sudha Murthy, Ashwin Sanghi, and Mandira Bedi were also present.

    Eros International acquires film rights to best-selling author Ashwin Sanghi’s The Krishna Key

    MUMBAI: Eros International, a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry has acquired the rights to adapt best-selling Indian author Ashwin Sanghi’s anthropological thriller The Krishna Key into a theatrical film and original series for their digital over-the-top (OTT) South Asian entertainment platform, Eros Now.

    The acclaimed thriller set across timelines with its captivating plot, merging the mythological with the contemporary released in 2012. The book follows a history professor who must prove his innocence against a murder charge. Krishna Key, the third novel by Ashwin Sanghi, tries to unfold the secrets of the Mahabharata and establish Krishna as a historical character rather than a mythical character. The plot is dramatic and provocative, enthralling with its twists and turns creating a seamless opportunity to creatively showcase it in the world cinema. The series is in initial stages of development with talent to be finalised soon. Eros is planning its release in 2019.

    Ashwin Sanghi ranks among India’s highest selling English fiction authors. He is considered one of the frontrunners in historical and mythological retelling. Popularly hailed as the Indian Dan Brown for The Rozabal Line and The Krishna Key, both of which were critically acclaimed. He has written several other bestsellers including Chanakya’s Chant, The Sialkot Saga and Keepers of the Kalachakra. In 2010, he won Vodafone-Crossword Popular Choice Award for Chanakya’s Chant. Additionally, the book Private India became the best seller in the United Kingdom. He was also included in the list of celebrity 100 by Forbes.
